Ali Larter Gets Glam for InStyle

Ali Larter plays cover girl for the fall makeover special issue of InStyle. Based on how fabulous Ali looked at Comic-Con and the TCAs she totally deserves to be a cover girl. Ali may be gearing up for the second season of Heroes, but it's her exciting personal life that has been keeping her busy this summer. In the issue, Ali talks passionately about the love of her life, and her style tips. Here's more:

On the new man in her life:
"I'm madly in love. He just brought light to my life. I feel lucky every morning when I wake up and see him."

A few of her style tips:
Comfort is key, splurge on timeless treasures, keep it quick and less can be more

We're sure Fab would agree with Ali's tips but we're more excited to hear what happens next season when her supposed split personality plot line goes away. Is it too early to start a countdown to the season premiere of Heroes?

Beyonce Gets In Style

Beyonce looks beautiful in the January issue of InStyle. In the interview she openly answers questions about her weight, her future with Jay-Z and other interesting facts. She lets us know that she has big dreams yet she she still takes her fame in stride. Here's highlights:

On what she would be if she weren't a performer:
I grew up in my mom's hair salon, so I'm a frustrated hairstylist. My stylist always tells me: 'Can you just sit down and let me do my job? I don't tell you how to sing.'"
On what headline she'd like to see for herself:
Beyonce Wins an Oscar, Nine Grammys and a Tony.' But I have time.
The weirdest thing in her fridge:
These little Soy Dream ice-cream sandwiches. They're so good, I eat one every night.
On losing weight for Dreamgirls:
[It] was fun for about a month. I could fit into dresses I could never wear before. But then guys started saying, 'Where you at? That's not Beyonce!' And they were right. I saw pictures and didn't like the way I looked. I couldn't wait to eat and put some weight back on."

Ben Affleck Picks Up All the Habits of Home

Ben Affleck sported a Patriots sweatshirt as he took over Violet's school run duty from Jennifer Garner yesterday morning. While she was in class, he ran errands and picked up a few goodies from Barnes & Noble - perhaps getting a head start on his holiday shopping? Ben was right on time later in the afternoon when he up picked Violet and headed home for the day. He recently arrived back in California for a fun weekend with Violet, Jennifer and Seraphina after a few months in Boston working on The Town. We saw lots of Ben wearing different uniforms while on set in Massachusetts, but it looks like he's already eased back into a more casual and comfortable style at home.

Kate Heads to the Salon Before Getting Dressed to the Nines

Kate Hudson made a low-key trip the hair salon yesterday after a busy weekend of honoring heroes and attending award shows. Kate looked relaxed in her casual sportswear after her dress got a lot of attention at the American Music Awards on Sunday. Kate seemed to have a little trouble staying covered by her Versace number -styled by Rachel Zoe- as she and Nicole Kidman introduced their Nine costar Fergie and The Black Eyed Peas. Unfazed by the possible slip Kate headed backstage where she cozied up to an awaiting A-Rod before he was off to join the fun at the Lakers game.

Rihanna Goes Daring For the AMA Red Carpet!

Rihanna was one of the last to arrive at today's American Music Awards in LA. It's the first award show red carpet she's done in eight months, and it looks like her unique sense of style and love of dramatic dresses hasn't gone anywhere. Reese Has Found Herself a Great Cook in Jake

Reese Witherspoon flashes a big smile on November issue of InStyle. She's been hard at work all Summer shooting How Do You Know?, but Reese managed to find the time to chat about Jake, her exercise regimen, and missing her Southern home. Here's more:

On life with Jake: "Jake is a great cook - he does a lot. We spend the weekends outside LA, in Ojai, where I have a farmhouse. We have chickens and we grow cucumbers and tomatoes. I love it. It reminds me of where I grew up in Tennessee."
On working out: "I try to exercise every day. I like to run for about an hour, and I'm big into working out with girlfriends . . . It's an acquired skill, being able to discuss your love life, children and friends, all while you're running! But we have mastered it."
On her Southern upbringing: "Sometimes it's really difficult for me, being far away from home. I never imagined that my children wouldn't grow up next door to my brother's children. Or my mom and dad wouldn't constantly be around. At least I have a lot of Southern friends in LA - I gravitate toward them."

New Moon Cast Has a Big NY Finale Before Tonight's Opening!

The cast of New Moon trotted out for one more red carpet in NYC tonight. They all showed up to greet fans and press for a final special screening before the movie's official release tonight at midnight! Kristen rocked out in a green one shoulder dress to finish off her spectacular fashionable weeks - find out how to get New Moon star style here and take a look at the top five Twilight red carpet moments. Elizabeth Reaser and Ashley Greene both look fantastic amid some of their other celebrity attendees like Natalie Portman and Taylor Momsen.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen arrived together, but posed separately. Despite another exhausting day, Robert managed some smiles for the awaiting crowd who cheered big whenever they caught a glimpse. The rest of the men of the Twilight saga didn't look too shabby themselves! Leighton, Ashlee and Jessica Show Their American Eagle Pride

A handful of starlets hit the red carpet last night to celebrate the grand opening of America Eagle's new flagship store in NYC. The Gossip Girl crowd was well-represented, with Leighton Meester cozying up to Michelle Trachtenberg and Jessica Szohr. Adrian Grenier, Pete Wentz, and Ashlee Simpson were also out to browse the offerings at the new space in Times Square. Ashlee was able to see Pete man the DJ booth between rehearsals for Chicago, and her sister Jessica is getting "chillibumps" just thinking about Ash's Broadway debut.

Pete wasn't the evening's only entertainment - Leighton Meester donned a pair of kaleidoscopic leggings to perform four songs, including her single, "Somebody to Love." You guys aren't sure what to make of Leighton's racier styles, but she really threw her all into the performance. Good things seem to be happening for American Eagle, and it looks like they've already recruited more than a few famous fans.
