How Many of the Best Picture Nominees Have You Seen?

Four? Seven? All 10? We were recently taking our own tally at Sugar HQ, and several editors have been trying to squeeze in last-minute viewing parties of the Oscar nominees they've missed out on before tonight's big award gets handed out.

But what about you? Hopefully, by now you've already seen the ones most likely to win, but take my poll, and tell me how many you've seen. Here's the full list of titles to refresh your memory: Up, Avatar, The Hurt Locker, The Blind Side, An Education, Inglourious Basterds, A Serious Man, District 9, Precious, and Up in the Air.

And don't forget to tune in later as I'll be blogging live during the ceremony. I can't wait!

Inglourious Basterds producer Harvey Weinstein is feeling fairly confident about the Oscars. Last year his wife, Marchesa's Georgina Chapman, went to a psychic who said he would be very lucky next March. At the time, the Oscars were scheduled for February, but a week later they were moved to March 7. The violence lover in us hopes she's right!

I've had two psychics give me nearly the same, dead-on predictions, turning me from full-on skeptic to a semibeliever. Has a psychic ever nailed your past, present, or future?

We're finally closing in on the big day: the announcement of nominees for this year's Oscars! It all goes down this Tuesday, and I've been counting down my picks for who might end up on the Academy's final ballot. A few of the contenders seem pretty obvious - James Cameron for a Best Director nod? Well, obviously! But now let's head into murkier territory with the Best Picture race. This category seems more up in the air than the others (pardon the pun), especially as this year marks the first time since 1943 that we'll have ten films facing off for the title. Here's who I'm thinking will (or should) make the cut.

I've already told you who I think will be up for best actor and best actress, and now here's another five I think are worthy of an Academy Award nod: the best supporting actors.

Backstage at the 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards, Diane Kruger says she is tougher than all the boys she worked with on Inglourious Basterds, the ladies of Nine get playful with Penelope Cruz, and a Glee cast member says Katie Holmes is a friend and fan of the show's stars.

The SAGs Are Full of Glee, Basterds, Betty White and More!

The SAG Awards took over LA's Shine Auditorium Saturday night to honor the year's best acting. Once the posing on the red carpet was finished, the show started right off with the announcement of Alec Baldwin's win in the category of Outstanding Performance in a Comedy Series. His costar Tina Fey also took home an Actor statue for her role in 30 Rock, bounding onto the stage with energy despite having had just two hours sleep the evening before. Matt Damon and his wife Luciana watched things for their table, not far from where George Clooney was relaxing after his star-studded Haiti telethon. Further honors went to Dexter's Michael C. Hall, who kept things light by thanking his wife and costar Jennifer Carpenter for choosing to wear her hot white dress. Julianna Margulies was singled out by her peers for her performance on The Good Wife, looking stunning in her Narciso Rodriguez gown. Betty White was the evening's special honoree, as she was presented a Lifetime Achievement award by one of her many admirers, Sandra Bullock.

Glee, meanwhile, was crowned Best Ensemble Performance in a Comedy Series with Jane Lynch speaking on behalf of the cast - Cory Monteith later joked that she had the honor of talking after winning an arm-wrestling contest. The stars of Mad Men similarly took home Actor statues after being declared the Best Ensemble in a Drama Series. The honorees for miniseries and films were exactly the same as at last weekend's Golden Globes - Drew Barrymore and an emotional Kevin Bacon won. Jeff Bridges picked up an honor for Crazy Heart, as did Christoph Waltz for Inglourious Basterds and Mo'Nique for Precious. Sandra Bullock won again for The Blind Side, thanking her husband Jesse James by saying, "I want you so much!" While Inglourious Basterds broke the trend by getting the Ensemble honors, it will be interesting to see if the consistency in individual awards translates into Oscar nominations when they're announced on February 2.

The Inglourious Basterds Winners Keep Brad in the Loop

The cast of Inglourious Basterds took home the Best Ensemble Cast at this evening's SAGs, and they were soon off for a pit stop in the press room. Diane Kruger, Christoph Waltz, BJ Novak, Omar Doom, Jacky Ido and Eli Roth were there to talk about their latest honor, though their costar Brad Pitt skipped out on the event. They did, apparently, make sure to keep him in the loop. They said:

Christoph on if they told Brad Pitt about the win: "We all did!"
BJ on what Brad responded: "LOL, he said."
Eli on how they'll celebrate tonight: "We were celebrating while we were shooting, celebrating at the table, and the celebration will continue tonight!"
Diane on working with so many guys: "The best part about my role is that I really kick ass. I'm tougher than most guys really - well maybe not Christoph!"
Eli on working with Quentin Tarantino: "You just clear your schedule and make yourself available. . . any of us would be honored to work with him again."
Diane on her dress: "It's Jason Wu - we created it together."

Which Cast Are You Hoping to See at the SAGs?

There are just a few hours to go until the action starts at this evening's SAG Awards, and we're hoping the ensemble casts for the films in the running for Best Picture attend together. Nine, Inglourious Basterds, Precious, An Education, and The Hurt Locker are all nominated for the honor, though a few of the big stars, like Brad Pitt and Daniel Day-Lewis, have yet to show up on any red carpets. It would be nice to see everyone out at the same event at least once, so tell us - which cast are you hoping to see at the show?
