They also put together a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot with the New Moon star. Kristen Stewart Shares and Poses a Little More For Interview

We already had one peek at Kristen Stewart's gorgeous spread in the upcoming issue of Interview, and now there are even more photos and an excerpt from her chat with Dennis Hopper. She opened up to the actor about what her life is like being surrounded by all the Twilight mania, as well as recently receiving her high school diploma - with honors. Here's more:

On just getting her high school degree: "I went to public school up until junior high. I know it’s a little late and I’m a little old, but I just finished high school-with honors. The other day I was doing a graduation scene on Eclipse, and I had just finished high school myself the week before, so I told the crew, “Hey, just so you know, I’m actually graduating right now, and I’m not going to have another ceremony.” So I took a mock picture with an extra. I literally asked the actor to come back and shake my hand and hand me the diploma while I was dressed in a cap and gown."
On getting lots of attention: "Yeah, it’s weird. There’s an idea about who I am that’s eternally projected onto me, and then I almost feel like I have to fulfill that role. Even when things come out of my mouth, I want to be sure I’m saying exactly what I mean. All I’m thinking of is the fact that everything that I say is going to be criticized - not criticized, just evaluated and analyzed. And it’s always something that matters so much to me that doesn’t come out right. But in terms of how my life has changed, I never really went out a whole lot before. I’m sort of an in-my-head kind of person. I wish I could take more walks . ."
On spending lots of time in her hotel: "That said, the only way for me not to have somebody know where I went the night before is if I didn’t go out at all. So that’s what I’m trading. It depends what mood I’m in. Some nights, I think, “You know what? I don’t care. I’m just going to do what I want to do.” Then the next day I think, “Ugh. Now everyone thinks I’m going out to get the attention.” But it’s like, no, I actually, for a second, thought that maybe I could be like a normal person."

Kristen Stewart Talks About More Than Just Twilight

Kristen Stewart got the black and white treatment for the upcoming 40th anniversary issue of Interview. This is one of the many covers we're sure to see as the promotional train starts to roll for New Moon before its release on Nov. 20. Amid news that Kristen and Rob are basically inseparable in Vancouver but might need to keep a lower profile due to all the attention, Kristen opened up to the magazine about her personal life and how Twilight mania affects everything. Here's more:

On everyone talking about her personal life: "There's nothing you can do about it, I don't talk to anybody about my personal life and maybe that perpetuates it too. But it's really important to own what you want to own and keep it to yourself."
On feeling dull due to Twilight: "The sad thing is that I feel so boring, because Twilight is literally how every conversation I have these days begins."

Diane Puts Her Modeling Moves to Good Use in Interview

Diane Kruger put on a military hat for an appropriately-themed photo shoot in October's Interview to chat about her work in Inglourious Basterds. It's the same issue that features a retro-looking Chace Crawford and edgy Natalie Portman so Diane's images are similarly slick and styled. She also opened up about her past in modeling, her looks, and life with Joshua Jackson. Here's more:

On why she stopped modeling: "I’ve got to tell you, the reason I stopped modeling was because I wasn’t pleased with trying to portray something that is impossible to reach. Even when I do photo shoots now for films, I’m just not interested in trying to look my best all the time anymore. That pursuit of an impossible perfection seems ridiculous to me now. I’d rather show my vulnerabilities or my doubts than try to be something that no one is."
On if she thinks she's too pretty to be taken seriously: "No, and that’s a silly thing to say anyway. Because, first of all, you sound like an ass if you say that. Brad Pitt seems to have no problem getting parts that he wants, nor does Angelina Jolie. Not that I’m saying I look like either of them, but I just don’t think that it has anything to do with that. It’s the emotions or characters you are able to take on that will get you work, not necessarily the way you look. Obviously, beauty can open doors - it is Hollywood, after all - but that’s not enough."
On feeling like she and Josh live under a microscope: "No, not at all. I say that because I refuse to be living in a bubble. I’m sorry, I cannot live my life sipping cocktails at the Chateau Marmont. Neither he nor I were raised that way. We come from really lower-middle-class families. I don’t know how I could portray those people in movies if I didn’t know what reality is anymore. I refuse that."

Jake and Natalie's Interview Involves Obscene Rapping

Natalie Portman looks sultry in black and white like Chace Crawford for the September issue of Interview. She is currently juggling multiple projects while also promoting her directorial debut in New York, I Love You. Her Brothers costar Jake Gyllenhaal conducted the interview and he got Natalie talking about her love of rap, My Little Ponies, and the optimistic way she views the recession. Here are some highlights:

On what song describes her current state: "My current state . . . I’m trying to think of a song that feels like sleepwalking. [laughs] I don’t know. I’ve mostly been listening to dirty rap lately. That’s sort of my scene . . . Really, really obscene hip-hop. I love it so much. It makes me laugh and then it makes me want to dance. Those are like my two favorite things, so combined . . . I’ve been listening a lot lately to 'Wait (The Whisper Song)' by the Ying Yang Twins, where the lyrics are like, 'Wait ’til you see my d*ck' - which is just amazing because it’s whispered. [whispers] 'Wait ’til you see my d*ck . . . ' [laughs] Crazy. So I just listen to it like I’m a five-year-old, like, 'Oh my god! I can’t believe he just said that!'"
On what skills she'd put on a job resume: "As far as skills go . . . I don’t have that many skills. [Jake: "Oh come on!"] I’m serious. I really wish I could make something. I mean, you’re a really good cook, you know how to build things - you can make things with your hands. I can’t make anything . . . Well, I can make chitchat, but not much else. I mean, I’d basically have trouble with any job that doesn’t require me to wear silly clothes and talk in funny voices . . . And so I’m an actor."

On the recession: "I think it’s kind of an exciting time. I mean, everyone is cutting back. It’s happening in every industry - including our own. But I think that’s going to translate into a situation where people aren’t motivated by money as much as they have been in the recent past. A lot of my friends from college went into fields like banking for financial reasons - obviously people have school loans and things to pay off. And now, all of a sudden, they’re doing jobs that they hate and they’re not making as much money as they thought they would or they’ve lost their jobs entirely. So I’ve started to see people looking more toward their own passions and what really excites them. Obviously it’s much easier to say that you’re going to follow your passions when you’re financially secure, but at least we can take solace in the fact that we now have the time to pursue the things that we really want to pursue because now the option of doing things just for the money isn’t necessarily there."

Chace Stays in Control of His Interviews

Chace Crawford slicked his hair back and put on a few temporary tattoos for the upcoming issue of Interview. He's currently filming the new season of Gossip Girl, but Chace found time to chat with the magazine about his privacy, his many fans, and life with his old roommate Ed Westwick. Here's more:

On deciding to live with Ed Westwick: "I wanted to live in a really nice building, and he really didn’t care. I also didn’t want to be paying an arm and a leg for rent . . . Ed’s girlfriend was in town most of the time for the pilot we shot in ’07. So we hung out a little bit and talked about getting a place. We talked to Penn, too, but he had shot a show in New York before and was living, I think, with Milo Ventimiglia. Penn said, 'No, but good luck. I’m over the roommate situation.' So I called up Ed and was like, 'Hey, man, I’m going to New York tomorrow. Do you want to room with me?' He’s like [faking British accent], 'Yeah, why not?' So I looked around and sent him a few pics of the place I found and he said [faking British accent], 'Is there any extra room for guest bedrooms?' I was like, 'What are you talking about? This is New York. What do you want, a game room? Let’s just make space for a ping-pong room as well.' [laughs] Ed had no idea. But the apartment was in a nice building, and it had a great roof deck. We’d hang out up there all the time with our friends, and it was private."

About fan overload while filming: "You’re having a serious conversation, looking someone in the eye, but everywhere around you, it’s literally a circus. Sometimes I sit back and laugh. . . It’s funny because everyone wants to know what’s happening on set. There isn’t anything shocking to write about, so magazines want to stir things up, like, 'Blake and Leighton hate each other.' But the truth is, when we’re all done with work, it’s like, 'Hey, what are you doing? Let’s go do karaoke.' The publicity factor is outrageous. They just want to shoot you down. So that can definitely wear on you a bit. A perception of you is created, and you really have no control over it. To some degree, you learn to adapt. But you also think, 'Eff you, you don’t know me.'"
On his personal life: "I’m the biggest believer in not talking. I don’t Twitter or MySpace or Facebook. I want to keep to myself. I don’t want to be out there. You have to keep some kind of control over who you are."

Taylor Lautner Strikes a Few Pensive Poses For Interview

Taylor Lauter looks more mature than his 17 years in a series of black-and-white photos for Interview. While some of his Twilight costars are spending their time off before Eclipse working on other movie projects like Remember Me and The Runaways, Taylor's plans are simple: he's in the gym. Taylor opened to up the magazine about his workout regimen, his friendships with the cast, and he also posed for the exclusive video below. Here's more:

On bulking up for New Moon: "As soon as I finished filming Twilight, I knew I had to get to work right away; there could be no waiting involved. The day I finished Twilight, I came home and started bulking up. For New Moon, I’m 30 pounds heavier than I was in Twilight . . . I haven’t noticed much of a change. I grew out of a lot of my clothes, though. I went from a men’s small to a men’s large."
On how he gained the weight: "I was in the gym five days a week, two hours a day. At one point, I was going seven days straight. I had put on a lot of weight, and then I started losing it drastically, so I was worried. It turned out I was overworking myself. My trainer told me that I couldn’t break a sweat, because I was burning more calories than I was putting on. The hardest thing for me was the eating. At one point I had to shove as much food in my body as possible to pack on calories. My trainer wanted me to do six meals a day and not go two hours without eating. If I would cheat on eating one day, I could tell - I’d drop a few pounds."
On intercast relationships: "The whole cast is really close. It would be difficult for our characters if we weren’t. It’s a love triangle, and we need to understand each other. So the fact that we’re close and can talk things through in rehearsals, and if we’re out at dinner, we’ll just randomly start talking about the scene we’re shooting the next day. . . . If we weren’t able to do those things, I don’t know where we’d be."

Robert Shakes His Fans' Hands After Holding Kristen's!

Robert Pattinson was in London this morning for a meet and greet with fans. He's back at home in England after country-hopping for the last two weeks, with a stop in Japan before heading back to the US and then France. He opened up to OK! magazine about all the attention at the event, saying, "I was kind of trapped while filming Eclipse, but there’s always ways and there’s always places where you can disappear to. . . It just involves a bit more thought and you can’t wander around willy-nilly." It's always fun to see Rob mixing and mingling with Twilight lovers, but we just can't stop thinking about yesterday's photos of him and Kristen holding hands - ICYMI, check out the can't-miss images! You guys seem to think that the PDA is a basic confirmation of their relationship, but there's sure to be lots more speculation about their status as the New Moon press tour goes forward. Oprah Gets Jay-Z to Laugh and Talk Beyonce, Just a Little

Jay-Z isn't a man of many interviews, but he's been making the selective rounds promoting his album Blueprint 3, which comes out on September 11. He recently opened up a bit on Real Time With Bill Maher and now he's in the upcoming issue of O Magazine. He met up with Oprah in his old Brooklyn neighborhood to talk a little about his upbringing, wedding to Beyonce and the most influential books in his life. Even Oprah gushed a little about how good he smells. There's more to come when the magazine is out, but for now here are highlights:

On why he was the one from his neighborhood to succeed: "There's the gift, there's the spirit, and there's the work - all three have to come together. If one of those things is off, it can stop you from becoming who you were meant to be."
On using the N-word in his lyrics: "Nothing is necessary. It's just become part of the way we communicate. My generation hasn't had the same experience with that word that generations of people before us had. We weren't so close to the pain. So in our way, we disarmed the word. We took the fire pin out of the grenade."
On his wedding with Beyonce: "Late planning! ... Very few [people knew]. The sad part is that we offended some. But people who love you understand. Because at the end of the day, it's your day."
On his favorite date spot: "I'm gonna get killed for this, but I'll tell you anyway. There's a great pizza spot we go to every Sunday. It's our tradition. It's a small place in Brooklyn, you can bring your own wine, and there are candles there. It's a nice date."

Hot Robert, Kristen, and Taylor Lead the Way at LA Fan Event!

The stars of New Moon gave their fans quite a treat yesterday at the Hot Topic event in Los Angeles. Kristen Stewart looked fantastic in her tight black dress and heels, a far cry from what she was wearing for the press interviews earlier in the day. She and Robert stood next to each other up on the podium and even shared a mic and some smiles. I caught a screening of New Moon last night, and while the real review will have to wait - ahhh! - it really is all about Taylor Lautner, and he carries the role so well. He waved to the fans and showed off those pearly whites. The whole cast participated in press conferences all afternoon, and will be continually on the junket today - we'll be there for one-on-one interviews with Rob, Kristen, Taylor, Chris Weitz, the Cullens, the Wolfpack, and the Volturi - so stay tuned to our Twitter for all the up-to-the-minute details!

Kellan Lutz playfully sunk his teeth into Nikki Reed's neck and Ashley Greene looked perfectly cute as usual. The cast's busy day didn't end there - they stopped by Jimmy Kimmel's studio to tape his show as well. The whole crew has been in tons of magazines to promote the film, but it's so great to see them actually getting out there with those big smiles in front of their biggest fans.
