Matt Damon spent yesterday afternoon riding around Vancouver with his favorite ladies, wife Luciana, daughters Isabella and Gia, and his mom, Nancy. The Damon family has relocated to Canada for the time being while Matt preps for his upcoming role in Elysium. From the muscles bulging under his tight t-shirt, it looks like Matt's been bulking up in addition - he also shaved his head! Matt costars in the futuristic alien movie alongside Jodie Foster and Sharlto Copley under the direction of District 9's Neill Blomkamp. There's also a new Contagion trailer that showcases Matt's other upcoming thriller.

Matt Damon rolled up his jeans for a walk by the water with Isabella in LA yesterday. The daddy-daughter duo strolled in the sand before Matt headed to the Staples Center to cheer on the Boston Celtics in their win against the Lakers. He had the weekend off from filming We Bought a Zoo, which has kept him busy since production started earlier this month. Matt's also used his time on the West Coast to participate in award season, mingling at the Golden Globes and being honored at the Critics' Choice. He skipped last night's SAGs, though he may pop up at next month's Oscars to support True Grit's nomination for best picture.

It looks like the Damon clan stuck close to home for Thanksgiving, as 5-week-old Stella is still quite young. Matt and his daughters are frequent sights around their neighborhood, and he's also been featured in a few new philanthropic videos. He first teamed up with Ben Affleck for their Feeding America PSAs, then Matt showed his lighter side by bravely donning a Snuggie to promote a water charity.

Matt Damon took his daughter Isabella out for another walk this morning in NYC. The actor has spent much of his Fall surrounded by the ladies in his life, and he and wife Luciana just welcomed their new addition Stella to the family last month. Matt's been sticking close to home since her birth, but he has taken time out to support his favorite charitable causes with a party and a special PSA. He's also gearing up for a return to the big screen in the Coen brother's remake of True Grit, which hits theaters this holiday season on Dec. 22.

Matt Leaves Luciana and Stella at Home For a Stroll With Isabella

Matt Damon protected his daughter Isabella from the rain as they took a walk near their home in NYC earlier today. The Damon family has been sticking close to their apartment for the last month since they welcomed baby Stella in late October. He's now focusing on his family during a break from film work, but his upcoming big-screen projects aren't far from his mind. Matt recently granted an interview to EW in which he discussed his philanthropic endeavors, being a father of four, and his upcoming Coen brothers movie True Grit. Matt said:

On not sleeping: "I've learned that if you decide not to sleep, you pick up all these extra hours in the day. We came home from the hospital the other night, and we were up with the baby and the alarm went off. And I realized, 'Oh, s-, I've got to take the other kids to school!' Their lives don't stop because we had a baby. So it's a little relentless, but I mean that in a good way."
On balancing family and shooting True Grit: "I asked them to schedule me so I wouldn't be away from my kids for too long. I'd shoot for four days in Texas, and then I'd get off the plane and run home and say to my wife, 'Oh, I had this line…' and I'd start acting it out for her."
On his work with Water.org: "Every 15 seconds, a kid is dying because he or she doesn't have access to clean water and sanitation. It's pretty staggering. In America, you can just walk over to the faucet and get a drink of water. So it's hard to wrap your brain around the notion that there are little girls who can't go to school because they're spending their days gathering water. Dehydration is a ridiculous way to die in this day and age."

Matt Damon took a stroll around Manhattan yesterday with his daughter Isabella safely fastened in her stroller. Isabella is a big sister two times over now that Matt and wife Luciana have welcomed daughter Stella, who arrrived in the world just over a week ago. Matt managed to break himself away from admiring baby Stella for a few hours on Wednesday, when he stepped out to support the ONEXONE charity at its annual gala. The evening's big honoree, Patricia Arquette, spoke to us about all the good work done by Matt and the organization, but she stayed mum when it came to discussing her brother David's new separated status.

He was joined by Bryce Dallas Howard and the film's director and producer, Clint Eastwood, on the red carpet after screening the film in Toronto last month. Matt turned 40 years old on Friday and was spotted pushing daughter Isabella around NYC on the big day, which we celebrated with a look back at his famous friend- and family-filled past. He spent his birthday with the people closest to him, saying that the party was "nothing outrageous." Now that he's past that milestone, Matt can focus on the arrival of his fourth child, his appearance on Thursday's live episode of 30 Rock, and his upcoming annual star-studded ONEXONE gala.

Matt Damon Takes Flight With His Growing Family!

Matt Damon and his pregnant wife Luciana were together yesterday to catch a flight out of NYC with their children. The Damon clan has been in the Big Apple for the last few weeks as Matt finished up work on The Adjustment Bureau and tended to his charity work. He was also among the hot dads who celebrated with his family on Father's Day - he got a well-timed present in the form of a new role in Cameron Crowe's next movie. Matt, Luciana, and their girls usually sneak off to enjoy Fourth of July fun with his BFF Ben Affleck, and the guys are expected to reunite for an annual poker tournament in LA. The Damons also tend to fit in a trip to Hawaii, so hopefully they'll enjoy another fun getaway before becoming a family of six.
