Geeky Fanboys and Girls Enjoy Dreamy Comic-Con Weekend!

Wow could this line up of Comic-Con attendees be any more fun? Talk about a manjoyment fest, yummy. Joshua Jackson missed the TCAs, but made it out to promote Fringe at the convention while J.J. Abrams also rewarded fans of his other show Lost with some of the stars, upcoming show tidbits, and Dharma Initiative-approved gifts. Even better, the lucky audience at the Heroes panel were treated not only to cast members including Milo and Hayden, but the first episode of the new season - check out what lucky Buzz had to say about that! Thankfully it looks like Justin Long was in better spirits while James Franco was cute as always. Buzz is down in San Diego for all the fun so don't miss any of her coverage here!

Heidi and Seal Get Schooled Together in LA

Heidi Klum draped her baby bump in a chic dress at the Get Schooled initiative conference hosted by Bill and Melinda Gates and their foundation in LA last night. Heidi looked especially happy considering she had Seal as her date for the event after recently talking about her "gentle giant" husband and her body in the final month of pregnancy. Her due date is right around the corner but she has three other kids to remind her of the importance of education especially during back to school time.

Chris, Zachary, and More Beam Over to Japan

The men of Star Trek hit the red carpet in Tokyo, Japan today for the premiere of their action-packed blockbuster movie. Zachary Quinto looked handsome even without his Spock uniform and hairdo signing autographs for fans while Chris Pine happily posed with some lucky ladies. JJ Abrams basked in the glory of his newest hit, which easily scored number one at the box office this weekend. We'll see if it manages to hold its title overseas, but something tells us that this is one Captain Kirk and Spock duo that we should get used to seeing together.

Star Trek Brings Out A-Listers and Trekkies in Hollywood

The Star Trek premiere was the place to be in LA last night as tons of celebrities strutted their stuff on the black carpet. Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Eric Bana, Winona Ryder, and the rest of the cast looked gorgeous after many of them have been traveling the world to promote their film. Heidi Klum gave a wink and her best Vulcan salute, and we'll be seeing more when she talks about her pregnancy on Ellen this Monday. Leighton Meester showed off her legs and her new blond hair, and so many other stars like Hayden Panettiere, Neil Patrick Harris, and more celebrated the newest rebirth of the famous series.

Celebs Speak Out in Defense of Children

Reese and Keri lit up the house with their smiles at last night's Beating the Odds Dinner for the Childrens' Defense Fund. Both women are longtime supporters of the cause, which must mean even more to Keri now that she has a child of her own. They were joined by some of our favorite TV stars of past and present including Elisha Cuthbert, Lisa Kudrow and Sarah Chalke. After spending the week watching famous celebrity kids celebrating Halloween, it's wonderful to know that Hollywood comes out to advocate for less fortunate children as well.

Young Hollywood Comes Out For Cloverfield's LA Invasion

J. J. Abram's anticipated new release, Cloverfield, premiered in LA last night and the town's hottest stars and starlets couldn't stay away. Lindsay Lohan strutted her stuff and scowl in a skin tight LBD on the red carpet for the first time since rehab. Pete and Ashlee were enthusiastic about the big event - and don't forget to tell us your questions for Ashlee. The girls of The Hills were out in full effect with LC who has a newly announced upcoming runway show, Audrina, Heidi and Spencer who obviously couldn't keep their hands off each other. Plus, hey, present for you - here's a little John Krasinski the man you most want to see more of in 2008. Since it's been so long since a new episode of The Office, it's better than nothing. This may not be your No. 1 choice of movies this weekend, but I'm excited to see how it fares after all the hype.

Joshua Jackson Is in Style for a New Season

Joshua Jackson was without his most fashionable accessory (Diane, of course) out solo in NYC last night. He was dressed for Summer with his straw hat and flip-flops, but not sure about the murse. I have to let him slide, though, since he's been looking so good lately, both on the red carpet and when he keeps things casual. Despite being apart from his lovely girlfriend, Joshua looked pretty happy - as he should be, since Fox picked up his new J.J. Abrams-written TV show, Fringe. Can't wait to hear more about it from Buzz tomorrow after the network's upfronts.

Grey's Anatomy is doing so well for ABC that they are moving the show to Thursday nights in the fall. We enjoyed the finale although nothing really surprised us about the ending. Also, as an FYI, Chris O'Donnell is returning to the show in the fall but we're not sure how long. What does this mean? It looks like the love triangle will continue between McDreamy, Meredith and Finn.

ABC was one of the first to allow episodes to be purchased online which is brilliant. Now they are working on a way to solve the repeat issue. Now onto the new fall schedule. So what is taking Grey's Sunday night slot? How about the new Calista Flockhart, Balthazar Getty, Rachel Griffiths promising new drama called Brothers and Sisters. Also looking very interesting is the Thursday night show post-Grey's show called Six Degrees which is produced by JJ Abrams. Stay tuned for reviews later this summer as we gear up for the new season.

MEN IN TREES
During a speaking engagement in Alaska, a relationship coach and successful author (Anne Heche) discovers that her fiance is cheating on her. THE NINE

SIX DEGREES
Six strangers living in New York City become friends after eventually meeting again through a mysterious web of happenstance and coincidence. The cast includes Erika Christensen, Hope Davis, Jay Hernandez, Dorian Missick, Bridget Moynihan, and Campbell Scott. Lost and Alias creator J.J. Abrams in an executive producer.

TRAVELER (midseason)

IN CASE OF EMERGENCY (midseason)
Four friends in theirs 30s, who have not seen each other since their high school days, are reunited for different reasons in a hospital emergency room. The cast includes former Full House/Summerland star Lori Loughlin, Jonathon Silverman, David Arquette, Greg Germann, Kelly Hu, and Nicholas Roget-King.

LET'S ROB
In the wake of a co-worker's death, an aging janitor (Donal Logue) recruits a group of misfits for a heist to finance his dreams of opening a bar. The cast also includes Josh Grisetti, Maz Jobrani, Koji Kataoka, Kevin Michael Richardson, Lenny Venito, and Sofia Vergara. Mick Jagger guest stars in the pilot.

NOTES FROM THE UNDERBELLY
After a woman who is dead-set on not having children finds out she is expecting, she and her husband try to keep it a secret from their friends. Jennifer Westfeldt, Peter Cambor, Rachel Harris, and Michael Weaver star.

In this game show with a relationship twist, contestants play for the opportunity to receive a monthly check in an undisclosed amount for the rest of his or her lives.

Jennifer Garner Is Still Making Dreams Come True

We were hoping to see Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck out on the red carpet (separately, of course) at the SAGs last night, but Jen had some other business to attend to. She played hostess at the 10th Annual "I Have a Dream" Gospel Bunch in LA, where James Berk, Hill Harper, and Sara Ramirez were honored with the Dream Keeper Award. Jen also hosted the event last year so the organization clearly means a lot to her. We still wish we could have seen her red carpet glamor, but it's hard to be disappointed when a star chooses philanthropy over partying.

Tom and Katie Wedding Arrivals Part Deux

The stars just keep pouring into Rome for Tom and Katie's wedding extravaganza. So far JLo, Marc Anthony, Brooke Shields, Leah Remini, Jada Pinkett Smith, J.J. Abrams, Cameron Crowe, Paula Wagner, and Jim Carrey have all arrived, flying into Rome's Ciampino Airport.
