The Grammys Parties Kept Going Strong Last Night

After a long night of fun-filled performances and red carpet madness, the Grammy attendees headed out in LA to hit up the after party circuit. House Of Hype Island Def Jam threw a bash that drew out Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish as well as Kanye who also made an appearance at Jay-Z's party at Katsuya. Gwyneth Paltrow also headed to the restaurant to see her friend Jay-Z who had an awesome on stage collaboration with Chris Martin. Kate Bosworth and Hilary Duff weren't in the show's audience, but the hot blondes were happy to get dressed up for the late night festivities with some of the biggest names of the night.

TRL Says Goodbye With JT, Diddy, Beyonce and More

TRL had its final moments last night with a show bringing back the biggest stars who ever stopped by the Times Square studio. Beyonce kicked it off with a performance that included the classic "Crazy in Love" but sadly no Jay-Z cameo. Carson Daly returned for the show, as did Diddy, who made the most appearances of any celebrity. Justin stopped by to make fun of his frosted tips while Kid Rock smoked his cigar all throughout his performance. Of course, the streets were crowded with one last group of screaming fans that got to watch Fall Out Boy (without Pete Wentz) perform to help complete the show. Even Jesse Camp stopped by with Wanna Be a VJ runner up David Holmes. After a little more than ten years on the air, they counted down its most crucial videos of its history ending with Britney's ". . .Baby One More Time" at No. 1. It was a fitting way to finish off as we all say one more goodbye to TRL.

Ladies & Gentlemen of the Music World Feel the Spirit of Life

Some of the biggest names in the music industry came out last night for the Spirit of Life Award Dinner in LA, honoring Universal Music Group CEO Doug Morris for his commitment to philanthropy. Rihanna, Mariah, and Adam Levine were just a few who showed off their vocal talents on stage, while Gwen Stefani and Sheryl Crow cheered from the audience. Nick Cannon was right there for Mariah after her performance, but Rihanna was without her constant companion Chris Brown, making us wonder if there's any truth to the rumors that she's got a new man. Jay-Z posed with his protege before kicking off his tour with the help of DJ AM later in the night.

Mandy Gets Sexy in the New Year

Mandy Moore hosted a NYE party in Miami at The Raleigh Hotel on Monday night. She was joined by a Carrie-less-Chace Crawford with his new BFF JC Chasez and Dax Shepard (with what looks like no Kristen Bell in site). Mandy has always been one of our favorite starlets for being wholesome, smart and sweet. Hopefully things will remain that way in 2008 but word is she was so sexed up on NYE and all the men took notice. Apparently Mandy turned up the heat in her hot little pink dress so much so that Brody Jenner and BFF Frankie Delgado were staring at the starlet all night and even followed her out at the wee hours of the event. Interesting.

Chace & JC Heat Up Miami & Happy New Year!

Chace Crawford left his girlfriend Carrie Underwood behind in NYC to host a NYE party in Miami tonight. He'll be hanging out with Mandy Moore, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard (but "don't say our names together to promote this thing"), Jeremy Piven and more at the Raleigh Hotel. Miami is always a hot spot this time of year and this time the adorable Gossip boy was giving the people of South Beach quite a hot eyeful hanging out with N'Syncer J.C. Chasez over the weekend. Some of Hollywood's cell phone loving celebs came out last night to celebrate the 9th anniversary of Motorola in LA. Kelly Clarkson provided the entertainment as she took the stage in her fab juicy dress and Brittany Murphy squeezed into some serious leather boots. Scott Speedman looked scruffy cute next to clean-cut Justin Long while Audrina Patridge showed off her glowing tan in her LWD. Apparently, the Hills star is back on the market after dumping Justin Bobby for making out with another girl in front of her. We always had a feeling that he wasn't trustworthy, but luckily it looks like she's already got a new man to distract her.

Even The Simpsons Movie Premiere Can't Escape LL

The humans behind our favorite yellow family and some of their other famous friends came out in LA last night to celebrate the premiere of The Simpsons Movie. It's been impossible to avoid the hype (and adorable promotion), and we'll all finally be able to see the long-awaited film on Friday. On the yellow carpet the adorable Hank Azaria cheekily stuck his finger up Homer's nose while JC Chasez was a little more tame in front of the poster. What do you think of Erika Christensen's more mature look? As for Dr. Phil, never one to miss an opportunity to impart advice, he had this to say about Lohan's problems:

"Somebody's going to have to step up and tell these young talents that they're not bulletproof. I just hope somebody doesn't have to get dead before somebody wakes up and says 'we've got to wake up and slow down.'"

While I'm loathe to admit that Dr. Phil is ever right, he's got a point. That being said, it came out in the most smarmy & smug way possible.

Brit's NY Bar Crawl Ends With a Reunion

Britney Spears is having quite the time in NY. Despite it looking like she was there for fashion week, she's only made it to one show...and the local club scene couldn't be happier. On Friday her reign on dirty dancing terror started out at The Carlyle, but she quickly left that scene because it made her feel old and partied the night away at Tejune. Another night, Brit was out at hot spot Marquee where she had a bit of a fit when the DJ put on a Justin Timberlake tune and demanded that he stop the song (thong in full view, natch). Yet another evening, Britney ended up hobnobbing it with old friend JC Chasez (seen here, braless, in fingerless gloves, with what is presumably her wallet clipped to her pants).

Justin's tour swings through New York tonight, and one surprise guest is already rumored to be showing up on stage, perhaps there will be another one, an ex perhaps, who will make an appearance in the audience?

Hilary's Not Hiding

Prior to the NYE festivities there had to be other parties for all these people to attend. Luckily, Kritik Clothing had a launch party in South Beach and while the crowd was not a-list, we did just want a reason to post pics of Brody Jenner. He's so cute. Also we think it's great that Hilary was out considering her ex has moved on so quickly. It's nice to see her sister as her support system. As for Kimberly Stewart, she proved once again that she is all class. Her Dad must be so proud.
