Last night some of the UK's bravest yet lesser-known heroes were honored at the Pride of Britain awards. The winners are chosen by judges that include Simon Cowell, and the inspiring citizens range from children to firefighters to racecar drivers. Emma Watson was looking adorable as always to show the love for JK Rowling, who received a special recognition award for her philanthropic efforts in addition to bringing us Harry Potter.

The cast of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince braved the London rain for their premiere yesterday. Helen Bonham Carter showed off her castle purse, though Emma Watson stole the show in her gorgeous gown. As avid fans of all ages — including Guy Ritchie and Rocco — were treated to one of the movie's first showings, here in the states we'll have to wait until next week to check out the latest installment of the franchise.

Kate Beckinsale was out and about with her little Lily in Santa Monica yesterday. Looks like Lily is still making her way through that Harry Potter book we saw her with last month - or maybe she's letting her mom have a turn with it when she's not kicking butt on the set. Thanks to Underworld, Kate has made a name for herself as a action star, and she recently explained what made her take on the role in the first place.

Salma Hayek looked beautiful and bright with her baby bump while strolling through Hollywood this weekend. Even though Salma isn't acting while pregnant that doesn't mean she's putting her career on hold. Salma, the producer, is one of the 50 women who will be featured in Variety's Women’s Impact Report.
