Stars Get Glamorous For Courteney & Demi's Reel Moments

Courteney Cox and Demi Moore's friends and family came out to support their directorial debuts last night at the Director's Guild of America headquarters in LA. Courteney's The Monday Before Thanksgiving and Demi's Streak are two of three short films, which you can watch here, produced for Glamour's Annual Reel Moments event. Courteney said she would love to be a director again, while Demi was happy to work with her daughter, Rumer. Amid more rumors of recent romantic dinners with John Mayer, Reel Moment alum Jennifer Aniston smiled and posed with her best friend. Ashton and Tallulah cheered on Demi as just two of the scores of loved ones and A-Listers who came out to celebrate the project along with the new directors.

James Van Der Beek and his wife Heather McComb were off to the beach in Malibu on Sunday for a little sun and surf - wonder if they caught a glimpse of a certain Surfer Dude who was also checking out the waves. Heather seemed to enjoy the view from the shore while James and his big surfboard hit the sea. We know this couple loves some PDA on the beach, but this time around they waited until they were back home for their kisses and hugs.

The couple went to dinner at Katsuya in LA last night, looking just as in love as they did frolicking on the beach for their fifth anniversary. While Dawson's former onscreen love returns to television, James has two new movies, The Boy in the Box and Formosa Betrayed, coming soon. Still, we can't help but dream about the kids from Capeside getting back together. Hey, if the kids from 90210 can do it, why not?

James Van Der Beek Has Musical Appreciation

James Van Der Beek posed with a puppet last night after catching a performance of the musical Avenue Q in NYC. We loved seeing James's passionate anniversary celebration with his wife Heather McComb a couple weeks ago, but she didn't make it out for last night's trip to the theater. Instead, James had his mother as an extra special date understudy. With his old Dawson's Creek co-star Joshua Jackson's TV comeback Fringe getting lots of hype, not to mention Katie Holmes's guest starring gig, hopefully Dawson can line up yet another return to TV this season too.

James Van Der Beek and his wife Heather McComb celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary with some enthusiastic kisses on the Malibu beach over the weekend. How sweet are these photos? Have to love that they seem like they're smitten like teenagers. I get pret-ty enthusiastic whenever I see Dawson Leery out and about, but just think about how amazing it would be if they'd just go on a double date with Joshua and Diane sometime? Talk about exciting stuff.

OMG, you guys - Dawson Leery making his way of it in LA! Okay, I'll stop with the outdated references. James Van Der Beek was spotted bringing some stuff back to his car in Beverly Hills yesterday. We didn't get nearly enough of him on Ugly Betty, but he's hard at work filming a new thriller, The Boy in the Box. Between him and Josh Jackson, more Dawson's Creek boys in 2008! Now where's Jack?

It's been six years since Dawson's Creek was on the air, and the four main stars - Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams, Joshua Jackson, and James van der Beek - have come a long way in their careers and grown up a lot. Yesterday, Tom Kapinos, the former show runner for the series who now works on Californication, had not-so-nice things to say about his experience on Dawson's, saying among other things, "It was the four monstrous actors at the core of it." It's pretty much ancient history, and there's one Oscar nominee among them, so what do you think about Kapinos's quote - mean or funny?

Stars Show Off Their Domino Skills For the Art of Elysium

Last night, Hollywood took its obsession with playing dominos to a new level at a benefit tournament for the Art of Elysium at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Ashton and Demi partied away (despite the hepatitis scare) with the help of Rumer, who actually looked very glamorous out on the red carpet with her mom and stepdad. Kate Hudson was glowing in gold and, despite what the media (and many of you) think, wasn't showing any signs of a baby bump. New mom Salma made another night of it away from her precious Valentina, but she did offer congratulations to her friend J Lo, saying, "I'm sure she'll be a wonderful mom." It's probably only a matter of time before J Lo's twins are challenging Salma's little girl to their own games of dominos.
