Jamie Lynn Spears Shares Lessons on Birth Control and Teen Pregnancy

“I believe in safety and birth control as prevention," Jamie Lynn Spears tells Glamour this month. "But like many young girls . . . I was really scared to go to the doctor." Britney's little sister had to grow up fast, after she became pregnant at 16, and after taking some time away from the spotlight, she gave an interview with Glamour to mark her 21st birthday.

In the interview, Jamie Lynn shares the reality of becoming pregnant at an age most girls are thinking about prom, cheerleading, or college. She admits, "I had been on a Nickelodeon show, Zoey 101, and after we wrapped shooting, I just wanted to go home to Louisiana and finish high school, be a cheerleader, all that." But that wouldn't happen. "Then I found out I was pregnant [by then-boyfriend Casey Aldridge]. I was 16. I’d had one boyfriend."

Jamie Lynn also says she resented the judgment, which she believes was intensified by her fame. "I was judged for something that probably most everyone does. I was young. I was in love. I was like every other teenager, except I had this last name. And I made a decision that is forever my decision." But fear of judgement also led to the accidental pregnancy. Jamie Lynn explained, "I was on a Nickelodeon show, and it [felt] especially embarrassing to ask someone to put me on birth control. I didn’t want to ask my doctor, because she had a little girl."

Britney Spears went all out and brought her whole family on stage to close out her Femme Fatale tour in San Juan, Puerto Rico, last night. Britney celebrated her 30th birthday as well as wrapping up her tour at a big bash over the weekend, and she spread the love on Twitter with lots of thank-yous for her crew and dancers. Last night was her final show, and she closed things out by bringing her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, boyfriend Jason Trawick, sister Jamie Lynn Spears, mom Lynne Spears, and niece Maddie all out on stage. Brit has had an amazing year and she's looking fantastic as well - in fact, she's currently in the lead in our best bikini body of 2011 poll!

Jamie Lynn Spears and Lynne Spears Break Out Bikinis to Chill Poolside With the Kids!

The extended Spears family hit the pool at the Four Seasons in Houston yesterday while Britney was off prepping for a show on her Femme Fatale tour. Her sister, Jamie Lynn, threw on a bikini to swim with her toddler, Maddie, while Grandma Lynne Spears was in a swimsuit, showing off her amazing figure in the water with Jayden James and Sean Preston. Jason Trawick even stepped out to say hello to the gang, though he wasn't dressed for swimming in a pair of sneakers and a knit cap. Britney and Jamie Lynn's dad, Jamie, emerged to sit on deck chairs and eat with the family, too. It seems Britney's nearest and dearest have been able to join her for the southern leg of her travels. The Spears were soon off to New Orleans for Britney's next show. There weather in her home state of Louisiana wasn't as nice, since Britney tweeted about it being a rainy day. That didn't stop Jamie Lynn from heading out to shop, and she shared a photo with her Twitter followers of a funny shirt she spotted. Britney has today off, and then it's back to California for a show tomorrow in Sacramento.

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick were out in LA yesterday for one of her son Sean Preston's Little League games. The proud mom also had her sister, Jamie Lynn, and little niece, Maddie, by her side. The whole Spears-Federline clan was in attendance - Sean's dad, Kevin, was there along with his pregnant girlfriend Victoria Prince. Britney and Kevin were together on Sunday too for another of Sean's matches, and afterward she treated Sean and his little brother, Jayden, to some of her homemade sweet tea. Sean's season may wrap up before Britney has to leave LA, as she'll kick off her Femme Fatale tour next month with opening act Nicki Minaj. Britney has taken some time away from prepping for her travels, though, to dedicate herself to helping with ongoing efforts to rebuild New Orleans in conjunction with the St. Bernard Project organization.

Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge brought two-year-old Maddie to the Universal CityWalk in California over the weekend. Maddie kept herself occupied with bubbles. The parents reportedly reconciled recently after their public breakup earlier this year. JL's own mom and dad, Lynne and Jamie, came along to spend time with their granddaughter. Britney and her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, missed out on the adventure, though the Spears sisters and Casey did attend a Lady Gaga concert together last week. Britney Hangs in LA While Jamie Lynn Goes Solo Back Home

Britney Spears stepped out in LA this afternoon to attend a business meeting after spending quality time with her boys earlier this week. Back in Louisiana, her sister Jamie Lynn was enjoying some family bonding of her own - she ran errands with dad Jamie and her daughter Maddie on Tuesday near their home in Kentwood. Jamie Lynn will apparently be marking this Valentine's Day as a single woman after recently splitting from former fiance Casey Aldridge, but there are rumors she might already be moving on with an older man.
