Jane Krakowski Says Jenna Would Play Anastasia in Fifty Shades of Grey

30 Rock's season finale aired last week, and it's official that the next season will be its last. We caught up with Jane Krakowski, who plays Jenna Maroney, the narcissistic actress engaged to her male impersonator. In addition to her work on 30 Rock, Jane's using her comedic talent for Best Night Ever, an upcoming vignette series for NBC. She'll star alongside Andy Cohen and Giuliana Rancic. We had a chance to talk to Jane, and she reflected on what she's learned from 30 Rock and even took a guess at what Jenna would make of the Fifty Shades of Grey phenomenon. Read on.

TrèsSugar: The S&M erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey is a bestseller and being made into a movie. Do you think Jenna would find it tame?
Jane Krakowski: I'm sure Jenna is buying the rights already to play the role. Everybody's reading that book. I haven't read it yet, but I see it in everyone's hands.

TS: Have you learned anything from your 30 Rock character over the years?
JK: I think my big lesson is to probably not do anything that Jenna does. So whatever she does, do the opposite. You might be better off. But that's the fun part about playing someone like her. You can be as outrageous as possible and get away with it within our structure that is TGS and 30 Rock, so there are so many things that the character has done over the seasons where I'm like, "Really? Are you sure we're going to be able to do this and get away with this?" And in that world and the blanket that is Tina Fey's genius it always seems to be alright. I will trust her wherever she sends me.

TS: Who is your favorite couple on the show?
JK: Well of course I'm thrilled Jenna has taken one step toward being humane by getting engaged. Although, Paul being a wonderful man it's (still) the most narcissistic wedding that could possibly happen, because she's marrying a male impersonator of her. I've always enjoyed Liz Lemon's relationships. I loved when Michael Sheen was on the show. I really adored him. I think her current relationship with the character of Criss is really a great one.

TS: In your latest role in NBC's TV vignettes series titled Best Night Ever, you play a tarot card reader. What would you hope the cards hold for Jenna?
JK: Wow. I sort of wish the tarot card reader would tell me that 30 Rock is not ending after 13 episodes next season. We found out that it's official that we're only going to be doing 13 more. It's been the greatest experience.

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield met up inside last night's American Museum of Natural History gala in NYC. She posed for pictures solo on the red carpet in an orange gown and Tabitha Simmons heels while her Amazing Spider-Man costar and beau decided to go straight inside the event. They partied alongside a long list of Big Apple-based funny people, including SNL's Seth Meyers, Jason Sudeikis, Bill Hader, and Kristen Wiig. Emma has gotten familiar with the show's cast this week, since she's hosting tomorrow's episode! Tina Fey left baby Penelope at home for an adults-only evening out at the annual bash with her husband, Jeff Richmond, while Jimmy Fallon made the rounds with wife, Nancy Juvonen.

Emma was solo out on the town Monday for the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, which came just days after her big 24th birthday. Emma and Andrew have gone to great lengths to keep their relationship under wraps over the past few months. They're rarely photographed together, but have been seen on a few cute date nights and wearing coordinating Teen Wolf Halloween costumes in recent weeks.

Her costars Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin are also up for awards, as is the series itself. New mom and 30 Rock star Jane Krakowski bundled up her infant son Bennett Robert Godley and ventured out for a stroll around their NYC neighborhood yesterday. Jane gave birth to Bennett on April 13 and it looks like she's already showing the little guy all the sights of springtime in New York. 30 Rock is experiencing quite the baby boom this year, with Tina Fey announcing her second pregnancy and Elizabeth Banks welcoming her son Felix via surrogate earlier this year. Their cliffhanger season finale aired last night, and Jane was up to her usual scene stealing tricks, galloping around the set in a shaggy animal costume that also cleverly concealed her former bump.

Tina Fey stepped out in NYC on Friday to promote her new book, Bossypants, at the Union Square Barnes & Noble. She was game for a Q&A moderated by The New Yorker's editor, David Remnick, where the comedienne talked about her writing, family, and TV show 30 Rock. Tina also cracked a joke about her 5-year-old daughter Alice's comedy skills, saying, "Between 2 and 3 [years old Alice] was inadvertently writing a lot for Tracy Jordan. [While playing with Barbies, Alice had one doll say to the other] 'You know the most romantic part of the human body is the butt.' How has Tracy not said that?" The hard promotional work is already paying off, as the publication is resting near the top of Amazon's best-sellers list. Tina had her husband, Jeff Richmond, and Alice for company on a walk in the Big Apple yesterday, but it was her fellow mom-to-be Jane Krakowski who turned out for the premiere of Catch Me If You Can on Broadway last night. Both Jane and Tina recently celebrated the milestone of the series reaching their 100th episode, which is a special one-hour event airing on April 21. She's more dressed up on the cover of April's InStyle, which is hitting newsstands later this month to coincide with the release of her new book Bossypants. Tina's whole cast celebrated an exciting achievement recently when they got together to toast the 100th episode, and the comedy will continue tomorrow with a brand-new episode.

Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin had the honor of cutting a big cake in the shape of 30 Rockefeller Plaza last night as they celebrated the 100th episode of 30 Rock. The duo was joined by Tracy Morgan and Jane Krakowski, who says her pregnancy has made her trendier than ever, and other stars of the show. The celebration wasn't held in the iconic Manhattan building, but across the river at Queens's Silvercup Studios where much of the series is shot. TIna and her cast were the ones celebrating the momentous occasion, but it turns out fans are getting a present too with a special one-hour episode on April 21! It's been a busy few days for Tina in particular, as she balances filming with her philanthropy and writing careers. We weren't treated to a new installment last night, but hopefully they'll be back to owning the Thursday NBC lineup next week.
