On first glance, Kristen Stewart and January Jones had little in common for their Met Gala style. The On the Road star chose a snakeskin-bodice Balenciaga dress, while January slipped into a yellow Versace gown. Kristen's hair was wavy and loose; January's was straight and precise. Couldn't be more different, unless you looked at their manicures. Both actresses were sporting a neutral nail polish, a not-yet-released Chanel shade called - what else? - Beige. The goes-with-everything color has a hint of shimmer, and it's being released online on May 16. And in case you're looking for a new lacquer for sandal season, one other Met Gala attendee is a step ahead of you: actress Greta Gerwig chose it for her pedicure before slipping into her Nicholas Kirkwood shoes.

The new mom hit the event in a fitted, almost space-age, strapless yellow Versace gown with black leather inserts, accessorizing with a vintage Cartier yellow gold, diamond, and turquoise necklace from 1955. January Jones Juggles Xander and a Glam NYC Night Out

January Jones dressed up in a printed Mary Katrantzou look for a special screening of La Revolution Bleue in NYC last night. The film features artist Yves Klein and one of his famous paintings that will be auctioned off at an upcoming Christie's sale. The artwork has an expected sale price of more than $30 million, with the funds partly benefiting the Oceana charity that January's been involved with for years.

Earlier in the day she was with her son, Xander, grabbing groceries at a Whole Foods. January's been stepping out in the Big Apple all week and also attended the launch of The Shops at Target with Emma Roberts on Tuesday. She wasn't, however, featured in the latest Mad Men, which focused more on her costars Jon Hamm and Elisabeth Moss. Her character, Betty, may be back on the small screen this Sunday, though, when a new episode of the hit series returns to AMC.
