Daniel Craig and Javier Bardem were on the London set of Skyfall yesterday. All suited up as James Bond, Daniel Craig brooded between scenes while Javier patrolled in a cop uniform. Javier even rocked a blond wig! Production on the next Bond film has been taking place in the UK for the last two months, and there isn't much longer to wait before the Sam Mendes-directed picture arrives in theaters this November. Javier's been in England with wife Penelope Cruz and their son Leo Bardem. Penelope went to LA for the Oscars, though, last month. She wore a gorgeous Armani Privé gown that she described as one of her favorite dresses she's ever been able to wear.

James Bond Hotties Daniel and Javier Announce the Start of Production, New Film Details!

Bond fans, rejoice! Work on the 23rd film in the series, Skyfall, has started, and the cast and crew gathered together in London for a photocall in celebration of the event. Leading man Daniel Craig joined up with director Sam Mendes and new Bond girls, France's Bérénice Marlohe and Britain's Naomie Harris, to smile for the cameras. James Bond villan Javier Bardem was there as well, lending his good looks to the cast.

Sam and the actors posed for photos then sat down for a press conference, which was planned to take place on the anniversary of the day that Sean Connery was announced as the first Bond. They also shared the official synopsis for the film, which is that, "Bond's loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. . . as MI6 comes under attack." Sam Mendes had more on the plot, saying, "It, I think, has all the elements of a classic Bond movie, including, to quell any rumors, a lot of action." Work on Bond 23 had been stalled for a long time due to financing problems at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios. Now, though, things are going into full gear with Sony and MGM financing the shoot in London, Shanghai, Istanbul, and Scotland with a release date next Fall.

Penelope and Javier Take Little Leo Out For Lunch in Italy

Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem dined out with their 10-month-old son Leo Bardem in Italy on Saturday. The trio sat down to share an al fresco lunch, and Penelope and Javier took turns holding a smiling Leo on their laps. He stuck to baby food, while mom and dad shared spaghetti and kept him entertained. The Bardem-Cruz family has been spending time in Rome in recent weeks while Penelope shoots Venuto al Mondo there. The film, which also stars Emile Hirsch, has taken them to Sarajevo and Croatia this Fall as well. Despite her busy work schedule, Penelope is clocking lots of quality time with her family members during the production. Earlier in the week, Penelope hung out with her sister Monica Cruz and her boyfriend Alex Gonzalez in the city. Javier has been taking a brief break from the big screen while the family travels for Penelope's new project, but he already has his next high profile project lined up - Javier confirmed his role as the next Bond villain!

Javier Accompanies Penelope as She Sets Sail For an Island Shoot

Javier Bardem joined his wife Penelope Cruz on a boat today as she traveled to the island of Korcula in Croatia. Penelope is shooting Venuto al Mondo in the Eastern European country, and was also in Bosnia earlier this month to work on the new project helmed by Italian director Sergio Castellitto. Javier and their son, baby Leo, have both been traveling with the actress, and the Bardem-Cruz family toured Sarajevo during Penelope's evenings off. Penelope's real-life role as a mother to Leo may inspire her performance in Venuto al Mondo. She plays Gemma, a single mother who returns to Sarajevo with her teenage son. Before she began shooting the movie, Penelope and Javier took a vacation to Italy, where they swam in the ocean and cuddled up to their young son.

Penelope Cruz and her husband, Javier Bardem, brought their baby son, Leo, along last night to get ice cream in Sarajevo. The Bardem-Cruz family arrived in Bosnia last week, so that Penelope would have time to prep for beginning production on her new movie, Venuto al Mondo. She joined director Sergio Castellitto on set yesterday afternoon, and work is expected to continue in the country for the next week and a half. Penelope has been logging long hours before the cameras this Summer, since she was also in Rome to shoot Woody Allen's Bop Decameron. She, nonetheless, fit in a few weeks of fun traveling with her boys. Penelope broke out her swimsuit during a getaway in southern Italy, and she, Javier, and Leo also visited Spain's Costa Brava.
