Jennifer Connelly Makes Time For Bikinis & Boys in Bora Bora

Jennifer Connelly showed off her bikini body while vacationing with her husband Paul Bettany and their sons, Kai and Stellan, earlier this week in Bora Bora. The family is enjoying a break before the boys head back to school this Fall, when Jennifer's latest round of ads for Balenciaga will also be out. She and Paul, who met on the set of A Beautiful Mind, will get to work as well promoting their latest movie together, Creation. Jennifer's not a contender in this year's bikini bracket, but she's a shoo-in for next Summer's contest.

Biel, Alba, and Connelly Work Out For Charity

Jessicas Alba and Biel joined Jennifer Connelly, who are all faces of Revlon, in NYC on Saturday for the brand's Run/Walk For Women, which aims to raise money to research women's cancers. Last year's event brought out Halle Berry, while this year's trio of hostesses was accompanied by Jimmy Fallon. We love seeing celebs out supporting great causes, but we're equally excited to see some of these same ladies trade their workout clothes for ball gowns at tonight's Costume Gala.

Ben, Jen, Scarlett, Drew, & Ginnifer Show What To Be That Into

The star-studded cast of He's Just Not That Into You gathered on the red carpet in LA last night for the premiere of their movie. All the girls looked fab including Drew Barrymore - who toned down her blond 'do she loves so much - Scarlett Johansson, and Ginnifer Goodwin. Jennifer Aniston stole the show after catching Sunday's big game with tweeting John Mayer. Ben Affleck brought his scruff along with all the boys. Drew chatted with us about her desired fourth Charlie's Angel, Greg Behrendt chatted about his dating advice and Ginnifer also chimed in about technology and dating. The charming Big Love actress also talked about an endearing recent He's Just Not That Into You moment in her own dating life:

Yes, we’ve all had that moment, I hope, because not everyone can like everyone and please, let’s not waste all this time making excuses. But I was the other day hanging out with Justin Long and I was telling him that this guy had been texting and all of a sudden he wasn’t texting and I absolutely convinced myself that my Blackberry was purposefully ignoring this one guy’s texts or maybe mine weren’t getting through to him. Of course, no one else in my life was complaining about the inability to communicate with me, and I was telling my mother about this and my mom said "Well you should call him and you should say that your Blackberry might not be working" and I’m going "Mom, that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard." And I’m saying this to Justin Long and someone walks by our table and says "Are you guys acting out scenes from your movie?" And in that moment I was like, Oh right, he’s just not that into me.

Famous actresses really are just like us sometimes, especially when it comes to heartbreak. It's hard to believe anyone would not be that into any of the women - or men - in this movie, but we all need a good friend to talk us through any rough spots. At least the movie, which opens on Friday, gives it out with a laugh.

The Smiths, Jennifer and Keanu Stand Still on the Red Carpet

The Smith family all came out to support Jaden at the big premiere of his movie The Day the Earth Stood Still. He was joined by the movie's big name stars Jennifer Connelly and Keanu Reeves who looked like they were having a blast at the premiere...ha. Sexy Jon Hamm had his longtime girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt on his arm, though methinks Mad Men fans might be disappointed to see he's not playing Don Draper this time. It's hard to match the enthusiasm of the Smith family when they get on a red carpet and it sounds like they should get used to cheering Jaden on considering he may be the next Will Smith.

Jennifer Makes the Late Show Stand Still For Her Visit

Jennifer Connelly didn't let the cold weather stop her from showing off her toned legs as she made her way into The Late Show in NYC last night. She's been all over the world during the past few weeks to promote The Day the Earth Stood Still, which hits theaters a little sooner than her other upcoming movie He's Just Not That Into You. David Letterman seemed pretty pleased to have the gorgeous Revlon model sit down for a chat, and she opened up all about a recent near-arrest at a London airport and her family - all the while showing of those impressive stems and her chic booties.

Seventh on Sale Is Super Stylish

The Olsens, the Kates, Eve, Dita, Liv, Jennifer Connelly and more came out in support of Seventh on Sale last night in NYC. The ultra all white Olsen look was an excellent contrast to many of the deep colors or all-black attires. MAC ladies, Eva and Dita went glam and gold while Jennifer and Kate went red. Once again Kate Moss makes anything look amazingly stylish. Fashion designers like MJ, DVF and Francisco Costa were also in attendance. Blake Lively lived it up like a real Gossip Girl who gets to attend events with Anna Wintour. Seems a bit more Blair-like than Serena but we're loving it!

The dinner gala took place at NYC’s 69th Regiment Armory. The event is in support of 7thonsale which is an auction on eBay or shopping in store in NYC for designer clothes and items worn by celebrities. 100% of the proceeds go to those in need of help living with HIV and AIDS. Sounds like a great cause so it's no wonder it has so many supporters.

Jennifer's Not As Serious As Her Movie Roles

Jennifer Connelly looks gorgeous and glamorous on the December cover of Vogue. Something about all the photos of her is so intense and at the same time serene, but as expected she's not really one to crack a smile. In the article Jennifer talks about taking such dark roles, including her most recent one as a grieving mother in Reservation Road, and what ultimately turned her life around. Here's highlights:

On taking on sad roles: "I don't often play characters who are the happy-go-lucky girl next door. For the most part I have made dramas with women who are, you know, grieving." She laughs. "I think that has shaped people's perception of me. But I don't think that's necessarily a reflection of how I live my life. I don't think I'm a particularly sad person. I don't feel bereft or depressed. I don't think of myself as chilly. These are just parts that I find interesting."
On her looks contributing to the parts she gets: "Huh! Huh! I have no idea. I don't think of myself as someone who has such a strong physical appearance that it should push them one way or another. It makes me sort of mad to think that someone's coloring should define their personality. I mean, certainly, you look at someone like, again, Meryl Streep, you know that she can play anyone: Despite her fair coloring, you completely buy her no matter what she does. But maybe with me, a lesser talent, it is all about that." She laughs again. "You may be onto something."

On her kids: "Becoming a mother, which was something that I craved for so long," she says. "From the moment Kai was born, it was like everything was thrown open. It was the most miraculous thing. I was forced to start living in a different way. Just loving someone that much? Having someone whose well-being I cared so much about? I had to learn how to do all the things that I thought a good, stable, integrated person-who could hopefully be an apt mother-should be. And that meant learning how to be part of a community. Kai demanded it as well, because he had a very different kind of personality, very open. And I am shy. I had learned to be by myself; it was just the way I grew up. So I was really forced to kind of move out into the world and learn how to get the things I had secretly always wanted." She seems as startled and delighted as I am by this sudden flash of candor. "And then I married someone who is the most extroverted, social person, so that's really changed me as well."

While I do wish that Jennifer would someday take a role that involved a little less intensity (wouldn't mind seeing more of that smile), obviously Jennifer is just up for a challenge. Plus, hearing her talk about her adorable kids proves that no matter how serious she is on the big screen, deep down she's just a softie for her little ones.

Kate and Denzel Honored at BAFTA/Britannia Awards

Some of Hollywood's most well respected actors - from Julia to Helen to Jennifer Connelly - came out in LA last night for the 16th Annual BAFTA/LA Cunard Britannia Awards. Kate Winslet went from her casual LAX look to stunning on the red carpet to receive the Artist of the Year Award. Reese popped over from her Children's Defense Fund event in the same dress to pay homage to some of her colleagues. Denzel was also among the night's honorees receiving the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film. That's a mouthful. This has been a big week for Mr. Washington with this award and the premiere of his American Gangster. Buzz saw the movie and loved it - check out her review here.

Celebrity Spawn Trek for Candy Around NYC

The streets of Manhattan were teeming with celebrity families yesterday evening as the costumed youngsters went from door to door, probably giving a few unsuspecting families a surprise when they opened their doors. Trick or treat! Soho was the 'hood for Julianne Moore and her little gnome and Wonder Woman also Ed Burns holding the hand of his precious Snow White. The West Village was more Liv Tyler, Royston and Milo's speed in their outfits - way to be a little un PC there with the costumes on the parents? Milo looked beefy like Henry as Spidey, though. In the same area Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany brought around Kai and Stellan in his little Star Wars outfit. Hope all these adorably disguised kiddies scored big on Halloween night. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups for everyone!

Hollywood Film Festival Is a Family Affair

Ben headed back to the west coast to reunite with his brother Casey but this time it wasn't to do more promotional work for their film, Gone Baby Gone. Last night at the Hollywood Film Festival both brothers were honored (but more on that soon). They partnered up for the red carpet walk where they shared the floor with the beautiful Janet Jackson and adorable Amanda Bynes who was also there with her many Hairspray co-stars. John Travolta clearly won worst dressed with his checkered suit but his wife Kelly Preston was by his side to ease his pain. As for Jennifer Connelly, she has either had a real hit or big misses these days, however, last night she was clearly doing her best Dita Von Teese.
