Jennifer Connelly Signs On With Shiseido - Again

In the late '80s, a sprightly Jennifer Connelly linked up with Shiseido to help advertise the brand's Perky Jeans line, and now the actress is back. But this time around it's in a more sophisticated role: Jennifer has just been signed as Shiseido's first global spokesperson.

"I've had a long relationship with Shiseido - I worked with them in the '80s on an ad campaign, and have been using their products ever since," Jennifer explained to WWD, adding, "It's nice to reconnect with them after so many years."

Part of her duties as the new spokesperson will be to promote the brand's Future Solution LX skin care line. In addition, seeing that Shiseido turns 140 this year, surely Jennifer will be involved in helping the beauty brand celebrate such a milestone. And if you haven't seen Jennifer showing off some Reagan-era shadows with flair, it's worth a watch.

Agnes Bettany, who was born in May, made her public debut just last week out on another school run with her parents and brothers. On Tuesday, Jennifer made her own splash, debuting her postbaby body, in a sexy-sheer top on the red carpet at the Every Woman, Every Child UN reception. Jennifer was inspired to work with the UN's initiative that helps women around the world get better access to health care after experiencing a homebirth with Anges earlier this year.

The evening out marked Jennifer's first red-carpet appearance since giving birth to her daughter Agnes in late May. The actress looked chic and sexy in a peek-a-boo top at the party, where she told reporters she had a midwife assist with a homebirth this time around. She even said the experience prompted her to be a part of last night's charitable event and the Every Woman, Every Child initiative, which helps mothers around the world receive better access to health care. Agnes is Jennifer's third child and her second with husband Paul Bettany. She and Paul have a 7-year-old son, Stellan, and Jennifer also has a 13-year-old boy, Kai, with her ex David Dugan.

Jennifer Connelly introduced her young daughter, Agnes, today while out walking her two oldest children to school in NYC! Jennifer and her husband, Paul Bettany, are getting back into their Fall routine with 14-year-old Kai Dugan and 8-year-old Stellan. Jennifer welcomed Agnes in late May, and both mother and her now 3-month-old have been away from the spotlight since. Prior to the birth, Jennifer had been making the press rounds for her movie The Dilemma, and in an interview on The Late Show revealed that her cravings included pretzels in cream cheese. She didn't have to do interviews for her July release Salvation Boulevard, but Paul has been busy doing voice work for The Avengers.

The family has been hanging out close to home lately as they await the new addition to their family. The foursome are focusing on their day-to-day lives full of school runs and errands, though Paul took care of some work recently by traveling to promote the release of his thriller Priest. Jennifer hasn't appeared on the big screen since her role in The Dilemma last year, but her film Salvation Boulevard will hit theaters in July after its successful showing at the Sundance Film Festival. The actress hasn't said exactly when she's due, but her bundle of joy should arrive soon since she admitted to being past her first trimester during a January appearance on The Late Show.
