Vanity Fair and Gucci hosted a glamorous bash at the Hotel Du Cap during the Cannes Film Festival in France on Satruday. Naomi Watts stepped out for the affair after partying at Calvin Klein's fete on Thursday with Diane Kruger and Jessica Chastain. Jennifer Connelly, in a black Gucci dress, and husband Paul Bettany showed up following a red-carpet appearance for Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted during the day. Alec Baldwin and fiancée Hilaria Thomas joined in on the fun, as did Chris Pine and his girlfriend, Dominique Piek. Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault were back in the spotlight following their own red-carpet run that afternoon, and Ed Westwick made a statement in black tie. Jennifer Connelly held onto her almost 1-year-old daughter Agnes as she and husband Paul Bettany enjoyed the sun on the deck of the Eden Roc Hotel in Nice this afternoon. The trio landed in the South of France earlier today, with little Agnes in her mom's arms. Jennifer and Paul have two older kids, Kai and Stellan, who apparently didn't make the trip, which coincides with the Cannes Film Festival. The glamorous event kicked off yesterday, and there have already been plenty of celebrities hitting the red carpet including juror Diane Kruger, Eva Longoria, and Freida Pinto. Jennifer will be the one in the spotlight, though, when she attends a special screening of a restored version of her 1984 movie Once Upon a Time in America.

The Tribeca Film Festival brought out some big names this weekend, starting with Kristen Wiig on Saturday when she celebrated Revenge for Jolly. On Sunday Michelle Williams joined Sarah Silverman and friends at an event for the festival. Michelle also stepped out for boyfriend Jason Segel's Five Year Engagement premiere which kicked off Tribeca, though she was careful not to be photographed at the event. James Franco celebrated his own latest project Francophrenia while Olivia Wilde tended to the Help Wanted shorts program. Among the other celebrity attendees, Abbie Cornish was at The Girl screening.

Jennifer Connelly Signs On With Shiseido - Again

In the late '80s, a sprightly Jennifer Connelly linked up with Shiseido to help advertise the brand's Perky Jeans line, and now the actress is back. But this time around it's in a more sophisticated role: Jennifer has just been signed as Shiseido's first global spokesperson.

"I've had a long relationship with Shiseido - I worked with them in the '80s on an ad campaign, and have been using their products ever since," Jennifer explained to WWD, adding, "It's nice to reconnect with them after so many years."

Part of her duties as the new spokesperson will be to promote the brand's Future Solution LX skin care line. In addition, seeing that Shiseido turns 140 this year, surely Jennifer will be involved in helping the beauty brand celebrate such a milestone. And if you haven't seen Jennifer showing off some Reagan-era shadows with flair, it's worth a watch.

Jennifer was inspired to work with the UN's initiative that helps women around the world get better access to health care after experiencing a homebirth with Anges earlier this year.

She even said the experience prompted her to be a part of last night's charitable event and the Every Woman, Every Child initiative, which helps mothers around the world receive better access to health care. Agnes is Jennifer's third child and her second with husband Paul Bettany. She and Paul have a 7-year-old son, Stellan, and Jennifer also has a 13-year-old boy, Kai, with her ex David Dugan.

Jennifer and her husband, Paul Bettany, are getting back into their Fall routine with 14-year-old Kai Dugan and 8-year-old Stellan. Jennifer welcomed Agnes in late May, and both mother and her now 3-month-old have been away from the spotlight since. Prior to the birth, Jennifer had been making the press rounds for her movie The Dilemma, and in an interview on The Late Show revealed that her cravings included pretzels in cream cheese. She didn't have to do interviews for her July release Salvation Boulevard, but Paul has been busy doing voice work for The Avengers.
