Olivia, Rooney, and Amanda Join the NYC Fashion Crowd For the CFDAs

Amanda Seyfried, Olivia Wilde, and Rooney Mara were among the stylish women who turned out for last night's CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards at NYC's Skylight Soho. Olivia was in a black cutout number from Cushnie et Ochs, and Amanda wore a frothy white creation from her pal Prabal Gurung. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo star Rooney paired her dark lipstick with a peach Calvin Klein and posed for photos alongside her Rodarte-clad friend Mia Wasikowska. Joseph Altuzarra was the big CFDA winner, taking home the top honor as well as a $300,000 prize! Jewelry designer Pamela Love and Creatures of the Wind's Shane Gabier and Chris Peters were runners-up with $100,000 going to both. Vogue editor Anna Wintour was on hand to mingle with the star-studded crowd that also included Zoe Kravitz and her BFF Alexander Wang as well as loved-up couple Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn.

America Ferrera Ties the Knot With Ryan Piers Williams!

America Ferrera married her longtime boyfriend, Ryan Piers Williams, yesterday in New York state! The newlyweds borrowed her Ugly Betty costar Vanessa Williams's home in Chappaqua for the lavish event, which was officiated by their other castmate Judith Light. America's dress from Amsale's Christos line, as well as Fred Leighton jewelry.

The guest list was star-studded with Rebecca Romijn, Jerry O'Connell, and Mark Indelicato in attendance. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants contingent was well-represented too, with Alexis Bledel, Amber Tamblyn, and Blake Lively on hand. Blake, however, did not bring along her recent love interest, Leonardo DiCaprio. America and Ryan were engaged for just over a year, as she debuted her diamond ring last June at the Edinburgh Film Festival in Scotland. Her most recent acting work was a recurring role on The Good Wife, and hopefully America has enough time off to honeymoon with Ryan before she starts doing voice work for How to Train Your Dragon 2. Congrats to the happy couple.

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell each had a twin on their hip in LA yesterday. The parents stopped by an indoor playground with their daughters, Dolly and Charlie, who looked adorable in matching t-shirts. Rebecca recently chatted about her 2-year-olds during an appearance on The Rachael Ray Show, saying that, though her kids could not have more distinct personalities, they're both daddy's girls. The busy mom has been sticking to the small screen since the birth of her children, but she made her mark in movies like 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand. The film's prequel, X-Men: First Class, comes out next month, with Jennifer Lawrence taking over Rebecca's former role of Mystique in what is anticipated to be one of the best action flicks of the Summer.

Sheen seems to have an endless supply of catch phrases in his arsenal, some of which are so over-the-top that they're reminiscent of wacky G.O.B. from Arrested Development. It's no surprise that Hollywood's comedians aren't wasting any time breaking out their impersonations of the troubled actor, and both Jimmy Fallon and Jerry O'Connell have put their best intonation of "winning" on the Internet for the world to see.

The hottest ticket in LA this weekend wasn't a new club or A-list red carpet, instead the stars and their adorable little ones headed out to see Yo Gabba Gabba at the Nokia Theater. Nicole Richie and Joel Madden brought Harlow and Sparrow to check out the action on Saturday. Nicole twittered a hello from the event and even took the stage to dance with Joel at one point. The two are rumored to be tying the knot this upcoming weekend and she's been logging long hours at the gym in preparation. Their friend Jessica Alba and Honor also checked out the tour on Saturday, and the actress joked to her followers that her "'cool' days are over" after enjoying the kid-friendly entertainment. Both Kingston and Zuma Rossdale excitedly watched the performance alongside mom Gwen Stefani while Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn looked like they were having as much fun as their twins Charlie and Dolly. Yo Gabba Gabba has tons of celebrity fans including the Jolie-Pitt family. Brad dressed up as DJ Lance Rock for Halloween last year, though the family missed the show since they're off having their own festive times for Pax's birthday in Paris.

Pilot Scoop: The Defenders

We may be celebrating the Emmys this Sunday, but a brand-new crop of Fall TV shows will be here before you know it! To get ready, I've been picking apart the pros and cons of each new series pilot. Today's selection: CBS's The Defenders.

What it's about: Jerry O'Connell and Jim Belushi star as two Vegas defense attorneys with personality to spare. O'Connell is Pete Kaczmarek, a playboy who likes pricey cars and easy women. To Pete, law is just another way to show off, though he's never afraid to put his neck out for a client. His counterpart is Nick Morelli (Belushi), a smartass trying to make peace with his estranged wife. New associate Lisa Tyler (Jurnee Smollett) also joins the firm with a more traditional approach to cases, but unfortunately, the boys don't like to play by the rules.

Where it works: The buddy chemistry between O'Connell and Belushi is promising (Belushi especially shines), and their sharp back-and-forth quips keep the show light. It's kind of refreshing to have a courtroom-based drama that doesn't take itself too seriously.

Where it doesn't: I'm just not invested in the story. The series needs more of a pull than just the flash of Sin City to keep viewers coming back.

Am I hooked? Not yet, but I may get sucked in if I see more character development.

When it's on: The series premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 22, at 10 p.m.

Exclusive: Jerry O'Connell Talks Parenting and Pigtails

Jerry O'Connell made an appearance at the TCA this week to promote his new show, The Defenders - but when our girl Pop caught up with him he couldn't help gushing over his twins, Charlie and Dolly. Jerry talked about the trials and tribulations of raising girls and the valuable lessons he learned while staying home with them.

PopSugar: You had a book in the works - is that still something we can expect to see?
Jerry O'Connell: It's just not going to happen. I was looking into doing a book. My wife worked last year and I was at home with my daughters. Someone said you should write a dad's stay-at-home guide. It seemed like it was a popular subject. But it's just not going to happen right now. My kids were only 1, I didn't have enough information. So much changes when you have kids - I'll be able to write a book when they're 18.

PS: What did you learn being a stay-at-home dad?
JO: I'm not kidding you, I really feel that girls are the best. I've never had any girls in my family, I don't have any sisters. I do have my mom, but I wasn't really expecting girls, and then I got them. Boy do they love their daddy. It's just a really fun gender. I've learned how to do hair. I love doing hair. I love doing pigtails. It took me a while to learn, I was all thumbs navigating elastics and hair and holding a kid down . . . trying to brush it out so it's even. I just wanted to give them haircuts but my wife said no, let their hair grow out. I love dressing them up - I swore I would never dress them the same, but I only dress them the same now.

PS: Who are they more like? You or Rebecca?
JO: One is brunette and one is blond. One is really shy and one is really outgoing. They do argue over things, which amazes me because we always buy two of everything. And I mean everything. If I buy a pink bottle I buy two of them, if I buy a blue bottle I buy two of them. If I buy a teddy bear I buy two of them just because the fights that go down are crazy to me. If one of them has one thing the other one wants it. I tell them, girls look there are two, there is no reason to fight. And then I explain to them that their sister is going to be their best friend and the only one they are going to be able to trust ever.

PS: So you can tell they are already becoming best friends?
JO: You know, twins have this weird thing with each other. I do notice if we separate them - for example one was outside with my wife a couple months ago and the other one inside was with me. The one with me started crying and the one my wife was with started crying and acting weird, and we put them together and they just shut up. It's like they're wonder twins.

PS: Anything you're fearing as they grow older?
JO: Right now they're close to 2 and I wish they would get over eating rocks. I just wish they would get past that. It worries me that they still don't understand that. It's disturbing as a parent that every time your child is near a pebble they try to eat it. I want to stop having to watch them all the time when they're near pebbles. They just have a crazy rock habit and neither of them can kick it.
