Michelle is Bringing Black to Christmas

Tara Reid wasn't the only one looking fabulous at the premiere of Black Christmas this week. The movie's stars Michelle Trachtenberg, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Katie Cassidy looked lovely as they walked down the red carpet at Mann's Chinese Theater in LA. Black Christmas is a remake of the 1974 film that tells the story of 6 sorority girls who celebrate the holidays together and quickly turns into a terror flick. Here's more:

"You're gonna laugh, you're gonna cry, you're gonna get scared out of your mind," insists MICHELLE TRACHTENBERG, one of the film's leading ladies.

Opening, appropriately enough, on December 25, 'Black Christmas' is targeting audiences who want a little tingle with their tinsel.

Says Michelle's co-star MARY ELIZABETH WINSTEAD: "There's nothing out there right now quite like this, so if you want the alternative to the deep Oscar contenders or the happy feel-good holiday Christmas movies out there, then this is the film for you. There are people who want something a little different around the holidays."

NYC Is Still Filled With Fall Fashion

This year's seasoned Fashion Week vets like Ellen Pompeo and Angie Harmon got to rub elbows with some new faces as the event raged on in NYC yesterday and today. Eva Longoria went super sparkly for Michael Kors while Debra Messing looked chic posing with her man. After spending the days checking out the runways, celebs like Chace Crawford, Dylan McDermott, and Eliza Dushku hit up the party for the unveiling of Prada's flagship store. Wonder if these stars are developing new friendships after seeing so much of each other around Bryant Park for the week. We know that Fab and Bella probably wouldn't mind getting to spend some extra time with the few good looking men we've been seeing in the audiences.

ABC TCA Party Brings Out the All Stars

ABC closed the TCAs with an all star party that included the Cashmere ladies, Big Shot men (more on them soon) and gorgeous newlyweds Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn. The happy couple stayed by each others sides as long as they could before reporters attacked and them and asked them about their various shows on the network. My favorites of the night were Dylan McDermott and Angie Harmon who seemed to be having a fun time together even though her husband, Jason Sehorn was there by her side as well. The Private Practice cast came and once again we are excited about Taye Diggs returning to TV. During their panel, Shonda Rhimes exposed lots of secrets for both PP and the upcoming season of Grey's. Midweek Muted Tones Rule the Runway Show Front Rows

New York Fashion Week rolls on, with nary a color in sight on the red carpets or in the front rows. Fergie couldn't even be bothered to take off her (new?) sunglasses when she showed up for the Max Azria show yesterday afternoon, while Rihanna wore her favorite blanket to walk the same black carpet. Mandy Moore and Sophia Bush are all over the place this week and looked particularly interested in last night's Ports 1961. No Fashion Week fatigue for those two. The girls are fun and all, but the boys are getting into the spirit of things too. Eric Dane was in the front row for the John Varvatos show, while Dylan McDermott cozied up with all the celebrity ladies at Proenza Schouler. Madonna and Gucci Host Hollywood's Hot Shots!

Last night Madonna hosted "A Night to Benefit Raising Malawi and UNICEF" in NYC. Everyone from Tom and Katie, Demi and Ashton, Drew and Justin, Heidi, Salma, and of course, her daughter Lourdes (my how they grow up so fast), BFF Gwyneth and old friend Rosie were there to raise money. A very pregnant J Lo went from Marchesa to this (still in heels - crazy) and a newly pregnant Gwen who has not made her official announcement yet hid her baby bump. The a-list event raised $3.7 million and kicked off the opening of the latest Gucci store in NY. Alicia Keys and Rihanna performed and Chris Rock auctioned "off celebrity events, such as aerobics with Madonna and baseball batting practice with Yankee Alex Rodriguez." Madonna looks amazing and part of her glow has got to do with the success of the event.

Lucky Ladies Check out the Chanel Cruise Show

A few of Hollywood's hottest ladies got to check out the Chanel Cruise fashion show on Friday night in Santa Monica. LL, Demi, MK and Ashley were just a few to watch the show hosted by Karl Lagerfeld where models exited a full size Chanel plane and headed straight to the runway. Posh looked adorable and we love that she went for color with her green vintage sweater. Apparently LL spent 5 hours with Karl before the show and he let her try on all his items! One of the highlights was seeing some Olsen teeth! But let's be honest... who doesn't smile when it comes to Chanel. To check out the runway looks, click here.
