Jim Carrey Says Video Love Letter to Emma Stone Was "Intended to Be Comical" - Funny or Still Weird?

Jim Carrey has a thing for Emma Stone, and he's not afraid to video blog about it. The comedian posted this up-close and personal message to Emma on his website last night and quickly made headlines for crossing the line into creepy. In it, he spoke about sleeping with, having children with, and marrying the actress who is 27 years his junior. Jim Carrey's rep was quick to respond saying that the video was "intended to be comical" rather than taken seriously. Still, it's hard to imagine that this didn't come from an actual crush on Emma. Before Jim Carrey hit the big time as one of the funniest movie stars in Hollywood, he was bringing in the laughs on the small screen's In Living Color. The early '90s sketch-comedy series ran for five seasons, and Carrey made a name for himself, thanks to an unforgettable character: Fire Marshal Bill. Carrey's rubber face was put on full display as the scarred firefighter with a penchant for destructive behavior. In this skit, Bill visits a home to impart some words of wisdom about fire safety, and naturally, things get out of hand very quickly. (Don't worry, Bill assures the family he's been caught on fire so many times he can't even feel it anymore).

Mr. Popper's Penguins Trailer: Jim Carrey Brings Winter in July

Remember when Ace Ventura's apartment was overrun with various animals in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective? Well flatten Jim Carrey's hair, make all those pets penguins, and you've pretty much got the trailer for Mr. Popper's Penguins. Carrey plays the Mr. Popper in question, a businessman who has to rearrange his life (read: turn it into a constant Winter wonderland) when he inherits a bunch of penguins and keeps them in his apartment.

The movie looks as silly as it sounds, but it's hard not to giggle at Carrey line dancing to "Ice Ice Baby" with a bunch of adorable penguins. It may be more fitting for a December release than July, but check out the trailer when you

Jim Carrey lamented his sad 2010 when he hosted SNL earlier this month, and he looks like he's turning over a new, young leaf in 2011! The actor was spotted out in NYC last night with 24-year-old model Anchal Joseph, who was a contestant on the seventh season of America's Next Top Model. Carrey himself has a daughter, Jill, who is 23 and the mother of Jim's grandson. Jim has been in Manhattan filming Mr. Popper's Penguins, and it looks like he's keeping himself entertained during his downtime! Jim seemed a bit down after his split from longtime love Jenny McCarthy last year, and she's since rebounded with a couple new loves of her own.
