Surf's Up For John, Emily, and Jimmy During Their Hawaiian Getaway

Funny guys Jimmy Kimmel and John Krasinski took a surfing lesson with their lovely ladies, Molly McNearney and Emily Blunt, on the Hawaiian island of Kauai yesterday. The foursome jetted out of LAX earlier this week, and it looks like they have plans to ring in the new year from a tropical climate - in which celebrity hot spot would you want to spend NYE?

John and Emily seem to be soaking up the sun before relocating to snowy Sundance for the ski town's annual film festival. They both have movies playing during the upcoming celebration, with John's Nobody Walks entered in the 2012 competition, and Emily's Your Sister's Sister featured in a spotlight series. John also has another big-screen release on the horizon with his inspiring whale flick, Big Miracle, slated for a Feb. 3 release.

John Krasinski and Emily Blunt strolled through LAX with their good friend Jimmy Kimmel and his girlfriend Molly McNearney on Tuesday. The foursome all stopped to get cash out before their trip, perhaps off to spend New Year's Eve together somewhere. John and Emily spend some holidays back East with his family in Boston, though this Christmas may have been celebrated at home in LA. Jimmy had his own festive fun this year at the expense of some unwitting kids. On Jimmy Kimmel Live the late night host asked parents to give their children a bad present and tape their reactions. The resulting video, I Gave My Kids a Terrible Present quickly went viral on YouTube.

With January around the corner, John and Emily may have a quieter award season this year, but they'll both bundle up to head to the Sundance Film Festival. John's movie Nobody Walks is in competition, while Emily's Your Sister's Sister is part of the "cinema we love" spotlight series.

Mindy Kaling Hangs With Nicole and Jon, Shares Her "Tongue in Cheek" Relationship Advice

Mindy Kaling hosted friends and costars at the Roosevelt Hotel in LA last night for a party to celebrate her book, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?, thrown by Glamour magazine's editor in chief Cindi Leive. She was joined by The Office's B.J. Novak and Jenna Fischer, who were out showing support along with Nicole Richie, Busy Philipps, and Anna Faris. Handsome Men's club members Jon Hamm and Jimmy Kimmel also stopped by the celebration to toast Mindy, who looked lovely in a black and silver Hervé Leger cocktail dress. Mindy took a few minutes to chat with us about her memoir, dating, and how the men in her life have reacted to her advice. She said:

Mindy on giving relationship advice: "I think I'm always nervous, because I'm just a comedian and I've had like three boyfriends in my life. So when I dispense advice about relationships it's always like mostly tongue and cheek. I just think it's irresponsible [to give advice], but I love the idea of being like Ann Landers to somebody. But for me it's like more about the comedy essays and memoir."
Mindy on straying from the original title of the book, Contents of My Purse: "The Contents of My Purse is very blog centraled, and more about shopping, which is one of my great passions obviously. After I saw how much memoir it was and how many personal essays and comedy essays [were there], it didn't seem apt. Although, maybe i do have a book in me called Contents of My Purse somewhere."
Mindy's pick for outstanding men: "Clive Owen is a pretty awesome guy, Sacha Baron Cohen is pretty amazing, who else do I love, and Steve Jobs. Those are pretty universally loved men."
Mindy on great advice from her mom: "My mom has always said you have to be your own best friend. Which really means like no matter what, you have to be your own person giving you the tough advice when nobody else does."
Mindy on omitting the chapter about B.J. Novak: "It's very hard because I have a great working friendship and professional relationship with B.J. . . . and I would never want to jeopardize that. . . So maybe one day, maybe when he dies [kidding.]"
Mindy on how the men in her life have reacted to the book: "My advice is so general, if you really look at it, it's like, 'Offer to help doing the dishes,' and 'Own a pair of dark jeans.' Pretty low hanging fruit - so if you can't accomplish those things you're probably not someone I know."

Robert Pattinson Blames Kristen and "Thrusting" For Breaking Dawn's Almost R Rating

Robert Pattinson's interview with Jimmy Kimmel aired last night and the chat took a turn for the ridiculous when it came to describing the Breaking Dawn sex scene. Robert talked about the precautions they took to avoid the R rating, but said it wasn't actually his movement that almost got them in trouble - it was all Kristen! Robert also joked that it was like playing "just the tip," after which Jimmy kindly pointed out that Rob's parents were currently sitting in the front row. Check out the clip.

Robert, Kristen, and Taylor Put Their Prints in Cement!

It's a big day for Twilight fans - Robert, Kristen, and Taylor's handprints were laid down in cement outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre this morning! While Rob and Taylor were in suits, Kristen sparkled in a Marios Schwab dress. The heat was a little much for Rob, who joked that he wished he'd remembered the LA temperatures and picked a different outfit. Jimmy Kimmel introduced the trio, getting some hopes up by saying Taylor would also put his abs into the cement! Along with plenty of fans in the crowd, Rob's parents were on hand to witness the ceremony as well.

It was a major milestone for the three leads in the franchise, who will all be busy in the coming weeks in the run-up to Breaking Dawn Part 1's release on Nov. 18. Robert and Taylor have already started making the late night talk show rounds, with Robert visiting Jimmy Kimmel Live and Taylor doing The Tonight Show just yesterday. Robert also linked up with Ashley Greene for a couple of early premieres in Europe last week.

Now that Robert, Kristen, and Taylor have reunited for their final press push, all eyes will be on Mr. Pattinson and Ms. Stewart for any signs of affection. Kristen finally admitted to their relationship in an interview in GQ UK, saying, "So much of my life is so easily Googled. I mean, it’s like, come on guys, it’s so obvious . . . It’s just one of those things. I’m selfish. I’m like, 'That’s mine!' And I like to keep whatever is mine remaining that way." With only one more movie to come in the franchise, these will be among the last photocalls and screenings Robert, Kristen, and Taylor do with their many cast mates.
