Jessica Simpson wore all black on the red carpet at Operation Smile's annual gala in Beverly Hills on Friday night before jetting off to Vegas to celebrate Ashlee's 25th birthday on Saturday. Ashlee stayed playful with Pete Wentz at the MGM Grand pool, kissing for the cameras in front of her towering cake — see her look. Ashlee was only in Sin City for the day before she had to get back to Bronx in LA, but she did gush about her week on tour with Pete and one of his gifts, a pair of Chanel shoes.
Jessica Moves On Without Her Favorite Travel Buddy
Jessica Simpson had Joe Simpson and Ken Paves with her as she flew out of LAX and landed in London this morning. She's usually accompanied by her maltipoo Daisy when she travels, but Ken managed to keep her smiling despite the loss of her pet. Apparently Jessica's friends are worried about her after the loss of "her baby" and "security blanket" and shared some heartbreaking stories about how much Jess depended on her dog.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson headed to Tampa to hit up a few Super Bowl parties on Friday night. The evening began with work for Samantha, who DJed a bash for ESPN, but later it was DJ AM who provided the tunes at the Maxim event she and Lindsay went to with Joel and Benji Madden. Like their last trip to Florida, drama followed.

Ashlee Simpson made her first post-baby debut Monday night and was out again yesterday for Pete Wentz's "Without You I'm Just Me" art gallery opening in LA. Whether or not Bronx will be making his first trip to sin city to ring in 2009, over the weekend Pete blogged about Bronx receiving his first mini Fender guitar so it sounds like the infant is ready to follow in dad's rock star footsteps already.

Ashlee Simpson is ready to pop in the very near future, and her dad Joe took yet another opportunity to speak up about her pregnancy before becoming a grandpa. He gushed that Ashlee and Pete will make great parents and that Ash is officially an adult now, saying, "The day she found out she was pregnant, she became a woman."
