Nicole Richie bundled up to do some holiday shopping in LA yesterday. She and a girlfriend left the Hermès shop with bags full of goodies, then Joel Madden joined the group for a little more browsing. The Richie-Madden family is all about their holiday spirit, and Nicole recently shared a photo of little ones Harlow and Sparrow decorating their tree. This will be Sparrow's third Christmas, so Nicole and Joel are trying to make it a special one. Their sweet moments helped land the Richie-Maddens on our list of the most adorable celebrity families of 2011.

Nicole Richie left a gym in Studio City with a Balenciaga bag in hand yesterday. She threw a hat and studded denim jacket over her workout clothes while her husband Joel Madden was in a similar look across town. Joel did some holiday shopping around LA in a black cap and layers. Nicole and Joel are prepping their family for the holidays, but they have even more to celebrate during this festive time. Nicole and Joel marked their first anniversary last week and Nicole continued the fun with a night on the town. She attended the opening of the Pressed Juicery with friends Samantha Ronson, Lukas Haas, and Mindy Kaling, though Joel wasn't spotted at the event.

Nicole Welcomes Joel Home From Oz With Affection and Coffee

Joel Madden returned home from a trip to Sydney yesterday and soon went out on a couple's shopping trip in LA with his Vanessa Bruno-clad wife, Nicole Richie. The pair stopped by Lindy & Grundy's butchers, then paid a visit to The Commissary for coffee. Joel may have needed the caffeine after his 72-hour trip to Oz, where he and his brother Benji presented at the ARIA awards. The Good Charlotte singer might be spending more time Down Under in the coming months since Joel's mentoring on the Aussie version of The Voice with Keith Urban and Seal. Nicole is also doing her own work in front of the cameras in 2012, sharing the small screen with Jessica Simpson on Fashion Star.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden brought their little ones, Harlow and Sparrow, to pick out pumpkins at a patch in LA yesterday. Joel was out of town on Friday and Saturday in order to perform in Moscow. He returned back to his kids and wife, though, in time to get a head start on prepping for the holiday that's just one week away. Nicole was able to spend the day with Harlow, Joel, and Sparrow after wrapping up a big business deal. It came out last week that Nicole Richie will launch a fragrance line in September of next year.

It was an exciting weekend for Joel and Nicole's family, since his sister welcomed a child Thursday! He tweeted about the good news, writing, "Proud day for the Madden family. . . Blessed to have another little nephew. God is good! Very happy for my sister and her fam! Praise the Lord." Nicole weighed in with some of her characteristic wit. She wrote, "My nephew was born today, and so was Snoop. Which means he will be a superstar!"

Kate Moss was back on the runway this morning to walk in the Spring 2012 Louis Vuitton show. She also took to the catwalk for her longtime friend Marc Jacobs last season when she memorably strutted her stuff while smoking a cigarette. Many famous faces were on hand to see Kate's latest turn and Marc's new designs. Nicole Richie and Joel Madden popped over to France after spending a weekend in London. Rachel Zoe, Anna Wintour, Uma Thurman, Alexa Chung, and Olivia Wilde were also there. Nicole was evidently impressed to see iconic Kate in the flesh. She tweeted, "Watching Kate Moss close the Louis Vuitton show just killed me." Kate's relationship with Marc and Louis Vuitton was cemented when she inked a deal with their parent company LVMH's Fred jewelry brand. In fact, Kate held a reception for friends at the Ritz hotel last night to celebrate the launch of her new necklaces, rings, and bracelets. Her husband, Jamie Hince, wasn't able to attend, but Kate held court with other pals like Christian Louboutin, Lou Doillon, and Gareth Pugh.

Nicole Richie and her husband Joel Madden brought their young children Sparrow and Harlow along to Disney's Princess Royal Court Celebration yesterday in London. The event was organized to officially induct Rapunzel into the Disney Princess Court at Kensington Palace, and the little ones seemed especially happy to witness the historic event. Nicole, though, jokingly tweeted, "Um, I don't know who enjoyed the princesses more: my daughter, or my husband." Joel seemed to echo the sentiment, writing, "I'm kind of hoping I hit it off with one of the Disney Princesses at Kensington today. Really like Ariel, but I'd settle for any one of them." She and Joel brought Sparrow and Harlow overseas for a quick trip away from their LA home base. The distance from home didn't get in the way of Joel's football watching schedule. Joel managed to find a bar to watch the Redskins game, which ended in a win and the last piece of a "perfect UK day" for him.

Joel flexed his muscles carrying both Harlow and Sparrow around town and later handed off parenting duties to Nicole, who picked Harlow up from dance class. She's getting back into her daily routine after taking a girl's trip to Mexico to celebrate her 30th birthday over the weekend. Nicole Richie wore a bikini by the pool during the getaway and flaunted a fuller chest. Photos from south of the border started some rumors that Nicole got a boob job. Nicole hasn't spoken about the subject, but her pal Jennifer Meyer did joke about getting the name of her plastic surgeon on Twitter.
