The evening started out with Jay-Z and Alicia Keys performing "Empire State of Mind" for the crowd and John Legend taking on the National Anthem. Kate's man A-Rod is
in a mini slump at the moment, but his good luck charm is here to stay — Kate's even supposedly
canceled her annual Halloween party in order to watch him play in Philadelphia tomorrow.

Also, just because A-Rod cheated doesn't make him a bad man, sometimes people fall out of love and into it with someone else, yes what he did was not the best way to end things with his wife (while pregnant, etc.) but if he didn't love her anymore he shouldn't have stayed it's not fair to him OR HER. Now that that's out of the way, GO YANKEES!
