The stars of Showtime, the CW, and CBS came together at their TCA party in Pasadena last night. The Huntington Library was bursting with celebrities from all three networks who mixed and mingled at the gorgeous venue. Ashlee Simpson-Wentz looked perfectly petite in her sexy dress as she told us about how well-behaved Bronx is these days. Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth both had shows to promote, though Peter was also happy to chat about feeling like Robert Pattinson at Twi-Con and heading back to work in Vancouver today!

Weeds hottie Hunter Parrish was happy to joke around about not having any sexy scenes this week though admitted that his comments about High School Musical were totally blown out of proportion: "You know what's funny? I talked about that three years ago when it was relevant and now that it's not relevant at all everyone's talking about it." AnnaLynne McCord is always a blast to chat with and she was so excited to dish on the new season and her desires for a Gossip Girl crossover. Peter Facinelli on Twi-Con: "It was phenomenal! It was probably the biggest event I've been to. 3000 fans from all over. I had a woman come in from Colombia. Another woman came in from Germany. It was pretty amazing. I don't know a lot of fans who would fly in from other countries for a weekend. At one point we were doing a Q & A and we were throwing paper airplanes into the audience that had the casts' signature on them. So I wanted to try and get one in the back [of the room], so I decided to run it to the back. It seemed like a good idea, but halfway through it got really scary. I don't know how I made it back. I thought to myself - now I know what Robert Pattinson feels like."
Ashlee on bringing Bronx to set: "He does [come to set a lot]. He's incredible. He's such a big boy. He's amazing! He's attempting to walk. I can hold him as he tries to walk - he's only eight months. He's learning fast. He's growing! He's such a big boy, it's good. He's nice and healthy and a happy baby, which you couldn't ask for more.
AnnaLynne on her dream Gossip Girl crossover: "I am still sticking to the Gossip Girl crossovers that need to happen. Naomi goes to New York. Beverly Hills girl falls in love with the bad boy - Chuck Bass and Naomi Clark. I very much adore Leighton Meester and that story line with Blair and Chuck but Naomi could come spice it up a little! Why not?
Kevin Williamson on keeping up with cast of Dawson's Creek: "Kerr Smith drove me here. I had lunch with James a couple of weeks ago and we vowed to stay in touch so we've been texting. The only one I haven't seen in a while is Michelle, who is in New York. I see Katie in LA."

Katie Takes the Stage For Her Official Opening Night!

Katie Holmes hit the stage to perform in All My Sons on Broadway last night, but this time it was different. It was the show's official opening night and Katie's smile was bigger than ever as she took her bow and posed outside after the play. Of course, Tom Cruise was there to support his wife and I'm sure found time to gush even more about her performance at the after party. The only damper on the evening was the protesters against Scientology out to make a scene. After last night's big show, the first reviews are out and while they're a mixed bag for Katie and the production in general, it's a pretty big accomplishment for the actress. Congrats to Katie who deserves every standing ovation she gets.

Stand Up For Katie on Broadway!

John Lithgow and Katie Holmes stood outside the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre where they smiled and waved to fans.... and protesters. While anti-Scientology protesters held signs, wore masks and chanted "Free Katie," Tom headed inside to watch his wife in the preview performance for All My Sons. Inside the theater the audience welcomed Cruise who posed for pictures, signed autographs and hugged his old costar Dustin Hoffman who was seated a few rows away. Katie looked beautiful in a dress and a wig on stage but more importantly she apparently held her own with theater veterans like John, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson. The crowd rose to their feet twice and upon her exit from the theater Katie was greeted by congrats from fans.

Michael C. Halls Gets Back to Dexter With His Wife . . . and Sister

Michael C. Hall got to work filming Dexter in LA yesterday with his on-screen sister and real-life wife Jennifer Carpenter. After a dramatic third season, Dexter has a new target this year - a serial killer played by John Lithgow. With vampires as all the rage these days, Dexter's brand of violence hardly seems noteworthy, though Michael C. Hall still finds a way to set his chilling character apart from all the rest.

Katie Turns 30 With Suri by Her Side While Tom's in LA

Katie Holmes and Suri stopped by the Boucheron Bakery in NYC yesterday to pick up some celebratory goodies in honor of Katie turning 30. They coordinated their red shoes for the occasion, and Suri capped off her well-dressed year with yet another adorable frock. Their mission for sweets was a girls-only affair, as Tom had to travel to LA for the West Coast premiere of Valkyrie. He might have missed Katie's actual birthday, but it seems like he plans to make it up with a week full of surprises. He even arranged to have a special cake sent to the cast and crew of All My Sons, and had Katie's costar John Lithgow lead the audience in singing "Happy Birthday" after last night's performance.

Stars Come Out For a Night at the Opera

The Emmys brought out some gorgeous gowns to the red carpet on Sunday, but a few stars got equally fancy for the Metropolitan Opera 125th Season Opening Night Gala in NYC last night. Helena Christensen and Christie Brinkley showed they haven't lost any of their model beauty, while Parker Posey went a little funkier with her big bow. Jenny Humphrey was being bullied at school on last night's episode of Gossip Girl, but in real life Taylor Momsen was looking very grown up and almost unrecognizable in her dramatic red ruffles. While the opera singers were the focus of the night, the ladies in the audience definitely managed to steal a little of the attention away for themselves.

Katie Holmes Gets a Little More Love

Katie Holmes set out for yet another trek to rehearsal for All My Sons in NYC yesterday. Not as much fun as seeing Suri clean up at the Build-A-Bear workshop, but the good news is that Katie's been getting more praise from costars. John Lithgow couldn't help gushing about her performance, saying, "Katie is lovely in the play, and she's been such a sweetheart to work with. She has worked so hard - this is a tough, tough play. Katie is acting with thoroughbreds and she's doing a wonderful job! She's had to really push herself." He went on to call the whole Cruise family "adorable," and while we can't argue on that one, we're still curious to read what all the critics have to say, too.

MLP, Alec, Whoopi, and Daniel Help Everything Come Up Tony

Radio City Music Hall was bursting with stars of the stage last night at the 2008 Tony Awards. The glitz and glamour were everywhere as some of the biggest names in Broadway came together to celebrate each other. Mary-Louise Parker was a highlight as usual, though I'm not sure what to say about the Counting Crows' Adam Duritz on her arm. Instead, I'll just get more excited that Weeds is back tonight! Alec Baldwin always looks dapper all dressed up, while Daniel Radcliffe made a surprise appearance before he makes his (naked) Broadway debut. Whoopi Goldberg - wearing Christian Siriano! - hosted the evening, helping hand out the biggest awards to In the Heights for best musical and August: Osage County for best play. The Men of the Grammys: Stick With What Works, Guys

While I suppose you have to give props to any guy that thinks outside the red carpet box, somehow it's the more traditional dressers that end up looking the best. Just go with a suit and appropriate shoes (looking at you, Mayer), dudes, and you can't lose. Meanwhile, the red carpet got a little wild (relatively) last night when Ryan asked Mayer about Jessica. John answered in Japanese, challenging Seacrest to get a translator. Wanna know what he said? Here's more:

"Take it to another room, find a Japanese person, decode it, and you'll have an answer," the singer replied sarcastically before abadoning Seacrest to the crunky crowd. (Seacrest took him up on his offer, later revealing that Mayer said "She is very beautiful – and youll be the last to know.")

Okay, that's sweet and they're definitely dating. Pretty sweet, if you ask me.

Oh, and John Legend, no time to tie the bowtie? It's okay, you can pull it off. And so can your lady of choice.
