Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill Spend Another Night Side By Side

If Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill didn't get to know each other well enough making Moneyball, they sure are getting in a lot of quality time together this award season. Yesterday was a doubleheader for the duo - Brad and Jonah took the podium at the Oscars luncheon and followed it up with a special Moneyball screening and Q&A session at the LACMA. The Oscar-nominated costars have been making the rounds to support their underdog drama, and if it doesn't walk away with anything at the Academy Awards in a few weeks it's certainly not for lack of trying on their part. Even as he's out on the campaign trail, Brad still makes sure he has time for family. Over the weekend, Brad and Angelina took Knox and Vivienne on a special outing to see Lady and the Tramp, and a week ago the whole Jolie-Pitt crew checked out Cirque du Soleil in Santa Monica.

Brad teased that he met someone by the name of "Jorge" Clooney at the event, and it seems Mr. Pitt always has the last laugh at least when it comes to pranking Jonah. Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill were together this morning for a visit to The Today Show in NYC. Brad talked with Ann Curry about Moneyball and the film's many Oscar nominations. He's in the running to take home a best actor statue, while Jonah's up for his first-ever Academy Award as a best supporting actor. The picture's additionally in contention for best film of the year, best adapted screenplay, and best achievement in film editing.

The guys reminisced about working on Moneyball, and Jonah reflected on a particularly awesome prank Brad pulled. They've mentioned before that Brad tricked out Jonah's golf cart with George Michael paraphernalia, but more details were disclosed to Ann. Jonah spoke about the cart, which was rigged to play the song "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" when it turned on. He revealed, "If it was just that, that would be crazy. That would be annoying for me. But he also had it shrink-wrapped bright pink, like neon pink. And he had superimposed a picture of me and George Michael on the front that said, 'I'm Jonah Hill and I love Wham!' And then it had wedding noisemakers under the cart. And so I'd have a meeting with someone and I'd drive up in this insane, absurdly Liberace-style [thing]."

Brad Pitt Brings Jonah Hill For a Taping of Inside the Actors Studio

A Dolce & Gabbana-clad Brad Pitt arrived at Pace University for a taping of Inside the Actors Studio with James Lipton tonight. He was joined by Moneyball costar Jonah Hill for the NYC outing, which comes after a big weekend in LA. Brad and Jonah attended the SAG Awards, where both actors were up for honors. Neither took home a win, but it was still an exciting night that saw plenty of PDA between Brad and Angelina Jolie. Brad's pal George Clooney also hit the red carpet since he was nominated for best actor in The Descendants. The movie was a topic of conversation when George's own episode of Inside the Actors Studio aired this evening. In the interview, George touched on pranking Brad, which Brad himself should be able to comment on now that he's taking the stage to answer questions from James.

Rooney Mara of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo had been nominated for best actress in a drama, an honor that ultimately went to The Iron Lady's Meryl Streep. She nonetheless mingled with Sony execs and sipped champagne at the bash in her dark Nina Ricci gown. Moneyball's best supporting actor contender Jonah Hill said hello to Sacha Baron Cohen, who was out supporting Hugo and its best director winner Martin Scorsese. A Dangerous Method best supporting actor nom Viggo Mortensen was in a great mood while talking about Spanish soccer, and Jodie Foster hung out with her sons Christopher and Charlie.

Brad Pitt Heads Home From Vegas For a Night of Moneyball Talk

Brad Pitt linked up with some of his Moneyball buddies last night in LA. Along with director Bennett Miller and costar Jonah Hill, Brad hosted a screening and Q & A at Sony Pictures Studios. The baseball picture has already earned award season accolades for the cast, including Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for both Brad and Jonah. The Golden Globes showered praise, too, bestowing nods for best drama, best screenplay, best actor for Brad, and best supporting actor for Jonah.

The night of movie talk came after a big weekend for Brad. He turned 48 on Sunday, and to celebrate, he and Angelina Jolie took their six kids to Vegas! The family was seen checking out Cirque du Soleil's Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour on Saturday evening. Brad's pal Tom Cruise spoke about their friendship and families last night during an interview on the Late Show. Tom told David Letterman that he thinks Brad's a great dad, saying, "[He's a] talented, terrific guy . . . He's always incredible with my kids and he couldn't wait to be a father. I think he's really happy with all those kids."

The Sitter Review: 5 Similar Movies You're Better Off Watching

The Sitter may be inspired by Adventures in Babysitting, but it's certainly not an improvement on the 1987 classic. The plot is very similar: a babysitter and three kids set out on a simple mission to get something, and along the way, they get mixed up with a bad guy and have to have it all resolved in time to get the children in bed. But a recycled plot is not the only thing that's unoriginal about The Sitter - the movie feels cobbled together with parts of other, funnier films. To save you a trip to the theater, I've named five movies below that share elements with The Sitter - but are far better - that you should watch instead.

Superbad: Noah is the exact same character that Jonah Hill played in Superbad: horny, self-centered, and obnoxious but witty. Even if you're a Hill fan, there's no reason to go out of your way to see him doling out the same shtick. Just watch the far superior Superbad to get your comedy fix.
Go: Sam Rockwell plays the crazy drug dealer that Noah is indebted to after one of his charges accidentally steals drugs from him. While Rockwell is one of my favorite actors, when it comes to attractive but dangerous movie drug dealers who want their money back, Timothy Olyphant has the market cornered in Go as Todd. He has far more dimension than Rockwell's character, and he manages to be threatening in a Santa hat, no less.
Uncle Buck: Unlikely male mentor? Check. Three precocious charges? Check. John Candy is the ultimate man babysitter in this 1989 comedy. It's believable that Buck has formed actual meaningful relationships with his nieces and nephew, whereas in The Sitter, the kids' issues are shoehorned in, and we're supposed to buy the fact that Noah solves each of their problems in one single night.
