Fat Boy Runs to the West Coast

Thandie Newton brightened up the Run, Fat Boy, Run LA premiere last night in her pink dress and springtime beauty look - love it or hate it? - while Amanda Bynes joined in the fun in her standard LBD. David Schwimmer has been giving lots of interviews about sitting in the director's chair, but don't expect his name plastered all over the movie. He said, "I’m really proud of it - it’s just i find it comes across a bit pretentious sometimes when ads or commercials have 'a film by such and such.' It always seems to me, when I’m watching the trailer or ad, that it’s a big ego stroke." We guess David will have to wait until the critics weigh in for his confidence booster - check back in later this week to see what Buzz thinks of his film directorial debut.

Dita von Teese Celebrates Her Birthday In Style

Dita von Teese turns 35 today, but she got the party started last night at the Macy's Passport Gala 2007. Fab has all the details on the party, which helped raise money for HIV. Dita was joined by other fabulous ladies like Emmy Rossum, Brittany Daniel and Ali Landry and apparently she even performed a sexy dance number to finish off the show. Celebs Celebrate Motorola

Some of Hollywood's cell phone loving celebs came out last night to celebrate the 9th anniversary of Motorola in LA. Kelly Clarkson provided the entertainment as she took the stage in her fab juicy dress and Brittany Murphy squeezed into some serious leather boots. Scott Speedman looked scruffy cute next to clean-cut Justin Long while Audrina Patridge showed off her glowing tan in her LWD. Apparently, the Hills star is back on the market after dumping Justin Bobby for making out with another girl in front of her. We always had a feeling that he wasn't trustworthy, but luckily it looks like she's already got a new man to distract her.

Celebrities Celebrate Entertainment...Weekly

Before the big night, some of the honored TV stars came out for EW's big annual Emmy party. Obviously Kate Walsh was looooving herself as fall tv preview issue cover girl as she posed with the magazine on the red carpet, ugh. Heidi and Vanessa certainly were belles of the ball, while Eva went with a pretty standard gold look. Blech, can Piven (and everyone else) finally lose the fedora? Please? Such a cheese with that thing on. All this is just JV glamor compared to the Emmys themselves - don't miss all that fun. Entertainment Weekly throws a great party and I can't wait to have all these celebs back on the TV weekly, too.

David Arquette Super Dad

David Arquette made the rounds to promote his new ABC show, In Case of Emergency. We're hoping it does well because it stars another favorite of ours - Jonathan Silverman (you know you love hom from Weekend at Bernies). As for David, we love hearing a father talk about his daughter and he sure sounds cute. Here's highlights:

On Fatherhood:
"It's great," laughed Arquette, 35. "Coco and I dance around no matter how tired I am. Then we have breakfast and find a place to be silly. Or we have an adventure somewhere; just about anything is an adventure for us. My greatest joy as a father is watching her discover new worlds and evolving into a funny character.

"Coco is developing a little attitude and a glow about her," Arquette continued, chuckling. "She's really verbal and expressive ... she has brought so much to our lives. Something truly amazing is watching Courteney be the mother that she is, which made me love her even more. Life is nothing but incredible."
On juggling work and family
"I used to have writers' and production meetings on the 'Dirt' set before or after finishing work on 'Emergency,'" Arquette said, "with certain chores, like casting, handled on the Internet during breaks in the shooting schedule. Now, with the help from our nanny, Coco is on the 'Dirt' set every day for lunch and dinner.

"Now I can juggle my time off in order to stop by my wife's set as much as possible - if she doesn't have a scene that I wouldn't want to be around for," he continued, evenly. "It's a sexy show that's out there with lots of love scenes. I used to be far more jealous than I am now. I feel secure, having a baby and being married for seven years. It doesn't drive me crazy like it used to."

The two have been together forever (at least in celebrity time). We always love to see them out with little Coco. With two such outgoing parents, no wonder she's developing a strong personality! For more pics just read more

ABC Upfronts

Grey's Anatomy is doing so well for ABC that they are moving the show to Thursday nights in the fall. We enjoyed the finale although nothing really surprised us about the ending. Also, as an FYI, Chris O'Donnell is returning to the show in the fall but we're not sure how long. What does this mean? It looks like the love triangle will continue between McDreamy, Meredith and Finn.

ABC was one of the first to allow episodes to be purchased online which is brilliant. Now they are working on a way to solve the repeat issue. Now onto the new fall schedule. So what is taking Grey's Sunday night slot? How about the new Calista Flockhart, Balthazar Getty, Rachel Griffiths promising new drama called Brothers and Sisters. Also looking very interesting is the Thursday night show post-Grey's show called Six Degrees which is produced by JJ Abrams. Stay tuned for reviews later this summer as we gear up for the new season.

SIX DEGREES
Six strangers living in New York City become friends after eventually meeting again through a mysterious web of happenstance and coincidence. IN CASE OF EMERGENCY (midseason)
Four friends in theirs 30s, who have not seen each other since their high school days, are reunited for different reasons in a hospital emergency room. LET'S ROB
In the wake of a co-worker's death, an aging janitor (Donal Logue) recruits a group of misfits for a heist to finance his dreams of opening a bar. The cast also includes Josh Grisetti, Maz Jobrani, Koji Kataoka, Kevin Michael Richardson, Lenny Venito, and Sofia Vergara. Mick Jagger guest stars in the pilot.
