The star-studded VH1 Divas kicked off last night at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and new diva-inductees like Jennifer Hudson, Jordin Sparks, Miley Cyrus, and Kelly Clarkson walked the red carpet in their glamorous gowns. Last night's Teen Choice Awards brought many lovely ladies onto the grass carpet. Short and sweet was the theme of the evening, with most of the stars choosing something perfect for the hot Summer day. Britney Spears and Fergie opted for embellished LBDs, while Kim Kardashian showed off her new hair color in a white number.
Cameron, Leo, and Seal Show Their Lakers Love
There were a lot of smiling celebrities at the Staples Center last night as the Lakers defeated the Rockets in their second game of the Western conference semifinals. Cameron Diaz, who is rumored to have split with boyfriend Paul Sculfor, sat with Hollywood bigwigs Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg and even caught the ball from her courtside seat. Loyal Lakers fan Leonardo DiCaprio was laughing the whole game while Seal was all dressed up for the occasion.

John Mayer embarks on the Mayercraft carrier today, but last night he celebrated with a concert featuring some of his friends staying off the cruise. Jordin Sparks and Gavin Rossdale were among the performers at the "One Splendid Evening" concert to benefit Save the Music. The event took place on the cruise ship, which John Mayer proudly tweeted a photo of yesterday afternoon.

Fresh from her appearance on Letterman, Lauren Conrad, the designer and spokeswoman for mark cosmetics, was out on the red carpet to represent the Avon Foundation at their Hosts The Hope Honor event in NYC last night. Patrick Dempsey, one of their celebrity fragrance faces also came out to look fantastically good looking with his wife. Jordin Sparks, who also is a spokeswoman for the mark brand, posed with Lauren Conrad.
Icons and Idols Party the Night Away at the Chateau
The night didn't end with Kanye's post-VMAs performance as the stars headed out to the after parties. The girls of The Hills posed together at the Paramount Studios bash before Audrina headed to InTouch Weekly's Icons and Idols party at Chateau Marmont. The Veronicas, Leona Lewis and Good Charlotte all hit the stage performing fun sets for the packed room.
The BET Babes Are Brightening Up the Red Carpet
No two outfits were alike last night on the red carpet of the BET Awards. There were a variety of colors and lengths that showed off some serious stems and beautiful curves. The men were more laid back in sneakers and polos but there were a few cuties like Chris Brown who stood out from the crowd.
Denzel's Debaters Wins Big at the NAACP Awards
Last night the ladies looked easy and breezy on the red carpet at the NAACP Awards but it was dapper Denzel who took home top honors. The Oscar presenter may not be nominated for any Academy Awards this year but he did score 4 Image Awards last night for his movie The Great Debaters including Best Actor and Best Motion Picture. The evening also included Hall of Fame winner Stevie Wonder who has quite a few fabulous things to say about Obama and Hillary as well as a great performance.
