The U2 concert in Pasadena last night brought out many of Hollywood's biggest names. After a weekend with family, David Beckham attended with friends, while Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford turned up side-by-side. Paris Hilton came with her boyfriend Doug and sister Nicky, and Ashley Greene left the Gossip Girl gang to watch the show alongside fellow Twilighters Kellan Lutz and Cam Gigandet. Ryan Phillippe had a boys' evening out with BFF Breckin Meyer, as Olivia Wilde chatted with Ginnifer Goodwin. Orlando Bloom tried to go a little incognito as he played with a mask in the VIP lounge before the whole famous gang went to see Bono and the guys do their thing on stage.

The Doctors of Seattle Grace Have a Funeral to Attend

The cast of Grey's Anatomy was back to work on set in LA yesterday. The group was filming a funeral scene for George O'Malley who everyone knows is off the show especially after his dramatic EW cover last week. Fresh off a successful weekend at the box office, Katherine Heigl was back in the thick of playing Izzie Stevens as a cancer survivor. Despite the grueling 17-hour days, Katherine looked happy to be back with all her costars. Ellen Pompeo's baby bump is going to be impossible to ignore when the show is back in the Fall and she looked perfectly cute in her tight black dress as she and Katherine were engrossed in their phones between takes. It wasn't all about the women however - Justin Chambers and Patrick Dempsey also acted in the scenes to pay their respects to George.

Katherine and Gerard Have a Good Time With The Ugly Truth

Gerard Butler got silly with a giggling Katherine Heigl at the LA premiere of The Ugly Truth last night. Katherine showed off her new darker 'do to her BFF T.R. Knight and a few other costars from Grey's Anatomy. She didn't talk about the news of the Emmy nominations. After her year of ghost sex and brain tumors, it may have been surprising to not see her name on the list. Gerard was taking a break from work on The Bounty with Jennifer Aniston, and he opened up on the carpet about how they laugh about all the dating rumors. He had nothing but praise for Jen, as he's apparently quite friendly with many of his leading ladies.

Do You Think Grey's Has Its Groove Back?

Just like you, we were totally down on Grey's Anatomy at the beginning of the season, and were ready for it to be over, ghost sex and all. Then, all of a sudden over the past few weeks, we're totally wrapped up in it again. Shonda promised us that the Izzie plot line was going somewhere interesting - we're on the edge of our seats, and it goes without saying there are tears at the end of the episode.

They even found a way to breathe captivating new drama into Meredith and Derek's relationship. On the other hand, it took an awful lot of bad episodes to finally return to the good, and this show has tricked us into loving it before. So tell us, with another heart-wrenching episode tonight - do you think Grey's has its groove back?

Josh Kelley was by his wife's side as she blew out the candles, as was Justin Chambers, who gave his costar a hug at the end of the night. Izzie is having a bit of a meltdown on Grey's Anatomy with the return of Denny, but Katherine seems grounded and happy as she enters a milestone year.

Cindy and Casey Channel Their Charitable Sides

It was a day of family fun in LA at the John Varvatos 6th Annual Stuart House Benefit in LA over the weekend. Cindy Crawford brought her whole fabulous brood to the event, which helps abused children, while Justin Chambers took his wife but left five little ones at home. Casey Affleck also left his boys with their mom but gave us a rare smile to go with his scruff. Speaking of facial hair, Jeremy Piven was looking kinda messy all around, but we'll let it go since he came out to support the cause even though he doesn't have any kids of his own.

Grey's Anatomy star Justin Chambers voluntarily checked into the psych ward at UCLA Medical Center, the same place Britney is being held, on Monday because he suffers from a sleep disorder; he was released on Wednesday. Even though he's familiar with Seattle Grace, being in the real hospital is not pleasant so hopefully he's feeling better already. - TMZ

Handsome SAG Men Played It Safe and Full of Smiles

Ryan Gosling was just about the only guy keeping it interesting with his fashion choice at last night's SAG Awards in LA. Along with his shimmery suit, plaid shirt and lack of tie, he wore a black ribbon on his lapel in honor of Heath Ledger. The rest of the men went pretty traditional, but at least all those handsome faces were there to keep us satisfied. Highlights (other than Gosling) included some not-frequently-seen-enough favorites like Casey Affleck, John Krasinski and Javier Bardem. Josh Brolin took a chance on cleanliness (heh) and planted a wet one on Jeremy Piven's cheek while Footloose stars old and new Kevin Bacon and Zac Efron posed together - cute, huh? Any men red carpet favorites last night? How do you feel about Brad Pitt's highlights with that salt and pepper goatee? Pretty special.
