Blake Adds a Dash of Color to the Emmys Red Carpet

There were many gorgeous fashions on display last night on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards. In the first installment of our look at what the ladies wore there was a lot of black or white, but not at all basic - Amy Poehler went dark, January Jones picked a light color with a daring cutout bodice, and Chloe Sevigny had a little bit of both worlds with her polka dot number. Right now January has a slight lead in Fab's best dressed poll - who do you think deserves the title? Drew Barrymore switched things up a little with her peach gown, but it was Blake Lively who stopped traffic in her plunging Versace. VH1 Divas: Miley Calls Kanye Disrespectful, True Blood's Sam Takes on Twilight's Jacob, and Paula Channels Ellen!

The star-studded VH1 Divas kicked off last night at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and new diva-inductees like Jennifer Hudson, Jordin Sparks, Miley Cyrus, and Kelly Clarkson walked the red carpet in their glamorous gowns. Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port looked gorgeous and sparkly, and we'll have more on LC's possible LA Candy movie deal later. Miley weighed in on the Taylor/Kanye incident, calling him out as disrespectful. Kelly also had some things to say about it as well as the Paula/Ellen change on American Idol. Sam Trammell, who plays Sam Merlotte on True Blood, also told us he thinks his shape-shifter character could take on Taylor Lautner's Jacob - check out the interviews below!

Paula Abdul opened the night with a surprise performance and jokingly introduced the live show saying "I'm Paula Abdul and this is NOT American Idol." Later in the night she came out dressed as Ellen DeGeneres, dancing across the stage before saying "All kidding aside - [I have] nothing but love for Ellen, and I wish you the best of luck and congratulations on your new gig." There were many performances and duets to enjoy, like Jennifer Hudson and Stevie Wonder, as well as solos by all the divas like Jordin Sparks. Miley on Taylor/Kanye VMA incident: "I think it's just disrespectful so I think the best thing is - I probably would have done what [Taylor] did and just walk away from it because she looks better than he does."
Sam on Sam Merlotte vs. Jacob Black: "Is he tall? I think he's really tall . . . Oh is that just in the movie? I could probably take him because I could just turn into some huge animal and just take him. Yeah, I could just turn into a big bull and take him."
Kelly on whether she has words of encouragement for Taylor Swift: "I don't think she needs any. She handled it really well and she's just a really sweet girl. I love Taylor and she knows I do. I keep asking her to write me some songs, I love her writing. The whole situation in general was the straw that broke the camel's back. Not only that situation. Unfortunately Kanye was the straw that broke the camel's back. But there's a lot of crappy things that go on in the industry and it's just not right. This is supposed to be fun. We're not scientists, we're not doing anything mind-blowing. We should all be having fun and complimenting each other and lifting each other up. I don't get it."
Kelly on taking stage with Paula, and Paula leaving Idol: "I'm used to that! We've been doing off and on for seven years; we all end up at the same shows. So I'm so used to seeing her everywhere. I don't even know enough about [Paula leaving Idol] but I think she's probably ready. I mean they've done like nine seasons. It's pretty cool she's going off and doing something on her own and right after it she's hosting VH1 Divas. Oh my God, she's performing and I saw rehearsals and it's insane. I'm like a 12-year-old again and singing 'Straight Up.' We're all dying backstage."

Tina and Jon Get Creative and Artistic For the Tech Emmys

Tina Fey reunited with 30 Rock guest star Jon Hamm Saturday at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in LA. He hit the red carpet alongside girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt, with both of them looking happy as usual. Another new episode of Mad Men aired last night, so check out Buzz's highlights here. Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Jerry Ferrara also arrived side by side, while Ashley Tisdale and Selena Gomez - who won for Wizards of Waverly Place - went solo. HBO had a big evening, taking home 16 statues for the technical work in Grey Gardens among other programs. Tina Fey continued her successful award show streak, winning one for her appearances as Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live.

The GLAAD Media Awards came to LA on Saturday night with another star-studded red carpet. Kathy Griffin couldn't help but show off her "banging bikini bod" yet again when she took the stage to accept her award. Ellen DeGeneres also took home a statue and looked fantastic with Portia De Rossi as they took a moment to talk about their love. Jessica Alba shimmered and smiled brightly while presenting an award and the women of Wisteria Lane supported Marc Cherry when Desperate Housewives won best TV comedy series. Kathy Griffin Shows Off Her Bikini Body - Impressive or Too Much?

Kathy Griffin is 48 years old and not afraid to show off what she's got. She's been filming another season of My Life on the D-List and is taking the opportunity to show off her bikini body. Kathy quit getting plastic surgery back in 2003 and has apparently been working hard on her physique. She joked to OK! magazine, "I’ve become insufferable, tormenting my friends, saying, ‘Do you know I have a banging bikini bod?’ That should be my new name: Banging Bikini Bod Griffin." So what do you think of Kathy showing off her taut bikini body - impressive or too much?

Rachel Zoe, whose show we can't wait to see return, also attended, as did pregnant Ana Ortiz. The festivities got frisky and even included a goo-covered Kathy, though the fun won't be on air until April 15.

The heiress has been shooting another season of her MTV show, but yesterday it was Kathy who was twittering about being Paris's new BFF. Kathy went all out, including a bag decorated with Paris's face, for the excursion, which also included both women putting on bikinis. The only questions left - and with all due respect to Miss Griffin - which lady is more D-List?

Men of the Year Party With the Women Who Are Obsessions

Two out of GQ's four cover boy Men of the Year came out to celebrate at the Chateau Marmont in LA last night. Jon Hamm and Leonardo DiCaprio both lived up to their steamy covers while Michael Phelps and Barack Obama (surprise) couldn't make it to the red carpet. Obsession of the year Megan Fox looked hot in pink and kept her boyfriend Brian Austin Green close for photos. Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel still don't want to define their relationship, but things seem very on again for this duo. January Jones looked glamorous as ever posing without her on-screen Mad Men husband Don Draper, but if the second season of the show taught us anything it's that Betty is just fine by herself. The party may have been about the men of the year, but the women held their own before heading in for a night of fun.

Sad Sarah, Saucy Kathy and Mad Men Already Winning Emmys

One week before next weekend's Primetime Emmy Awards lots of stars of the small screen came out in LA on Saturday for the presentation of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. The show airs Saturday and was hosted by two of my favorites, Sarah Chalke and Neil Patrick Harris, who kept the laughs coming. As expected, Mad Men and John Adams both took home multiple statues - check out all the winners here. Kathy Griffin kept things raunchy when she won again while Sarah Silverman's acceptance speech for "I'm F*cking Matt Damon" was uncharacteristically touching. She said, "Let's be honest, Matt Damon had very little to do with this being popular. . . Thanks to the person for whom this whole video was made: Jimmy Kimmel, who broke my heart – who'll always have a place in my heart." She deserves the award for her hilarious video and hopefully it's more than just a reminder of her rough split.
