The 2012 Billboard Music Awards brought plenty of famous faces to the MGM Grand in Las Vegas Sunday. LMFAO, who won six awards, opened the show before hosts Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell took the stage. A variety of artists including The Wanted and Kelly Clarkson, introduced by Robin Thicke, had their turn in the spotlight. Carrie Underwood, who brought husband Mike Fisher, performed "Blown Away" in a glamorous red dress, while Natasha Bedingfield sang a tribute to the late Donna Summer. Katy Perry rocked the crowd with the debut of her new single, "Wide Awake," and Usher brought "Scream" to the stage.

Justin Bieber took the microphone as well with "Boyfriend." Jordin Sparks shared a moving rendition of "I Will Always Love You," honoring Whitney Houston, after John Legend kicked it off with "The Greatest Love of All." Bobbi Kristina then accepted the millennium award for her mom, saying, "I'm just blessed to have been in such an incredible woman's life." There were many more statues given out this evening with Julianne Hough presenting Justin with top social artist. New Girl's Zooey Deschanel was on hand to introduce Billboard's woman of the year, Taylor Swift.

The Billboard Music Awards Carpet Gets Glam With Katy, Miley, Julianne, and More

The stars came out in Las Vegas for the 2012 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand tonight. Hosts Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell kicked off the white carpet with a Jean Paul Gaultier-clad Miley Cyrus following closely behind. Nominee Taylor Swift wore red Elie Saab for the musical event, and presenter Julianne Hough chose a short Kaufman Franco dress. Alicia Keys, in long-sleeved Azzedine Alaia, had her husband, Swizz Beatz, by her side, as did performer Carrie Underwood, who looked glamorous in a sparkly Oscar de la Renta gown. Katy Perry matched her purple hair with a lilac Blumarine look and posed with her grandmother before heading inside to take the stage. Jennifer Lopez made her way to the set of American Idol in Hollywood last night in a short, sequin minidress. It's her second sexy outfit of the week following her Wednesday appearance in an ab-baring ensemble. Idol hopeful Elise Testone was the latest to be sent home - do you agree with the results? - which leaves five contestants still in the running for this year's title. Katy Perry dropped by earlier in the week and taped a performance of her hot track "Part of Me," which aired during the results show.

J Lo's been mentoring the singers all season, and next week she'll take the stage and show off her own singing and dancing skills. She's planning to perform her latest track, "Dance Again," alongside boyfriend Casper Smart. Jen's been practicing the choreography with her dancers and even invited them to her home last weekend for a shirtless and bikini-filled barbecue!

Love was in the air for Katy Perry at Coachella! The purple-haired singer engaged in plenty of PDA with Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd. Katy and her new man, Robert Ackroyd, snuck in kisses and hugs while watching a concert yesterday. Katy has moved on with Robert after splitting from husband Russell Brand in December of last year. Katy was reported to have had a fling with French male model Baptiste Giabiconi.

This was the second weekend in a row Katy went out into the Indio, CA desert to see the concerts - check out all the celebrities at Coachella this year. Last week, Katy also spent time with Robert between performances. He even tweeted after their first go-round that it was the "best Coachella ever" with his friends and a certain "KP."

The first weekend of Coachella went down in Indio, CA, over the last few days with great bands, big stars, and amazing parties. We captured many of our favorite moments and memories from the three-day celebration on Instagram and are sharing our scrapbook from the weekend!

Kate Bosworth struck a pose for us during the Mulberry pool party, as did Ryan Kwanten at Nylon and Hugo Boss's soiree. We caught M83's late-night set alongside Katy Perry, danced as rapper and actress Rye Rye performed at the Filter bash, and saw The Black Keys' highly anticipated performance on the main stage. The weekend wouldn't have been complete without a stop by Armani Exchange and T-Mobile's Neon Carnival, too, where we spotted Usher riding the Zipper and Paris Hilton dancing on stage next to the DJ late into the night.
