Mischa Enjoys Cannes, But Lives in Paris

Mischa Barton has gowns galore on hand for her trip to Cannes - she's been quite the red carpet queen for the beginning of the festival. Yesterday she posed with Lily Allen at the GQ Party for How to Lose Friends and Alienate People after the Nosebleed cocktail party. After this, though, it's not back to LA for this starlet - she moved to Paris. She said, "I've just always wanted to move there. I'm enjoying some time off." Considering most of Mischa's post-OC movies have been a bit of a bust, maybe some time off and away is just what she needs.

Guys Bring Their Style to the American Music Awards

Nicole Gears Up For the Tonys With a Broadway Play

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban checked out God of Carnage on Broadway last night before waking up bright and early and heading to the gym in NYC. The couple will also be in town for the Tony Awards on June 7 at Radio City Music Hall, where Nicole is scheduled to present. Keith recently took the stage with Kris Allen on the star-studded American Idol finale, and now it's Nicole's turn in the spotlight as the jet-setting parents continue to support each other.

American Idol Season Eight Goes Out With a Bang

Last night American Idol finalists Kris Allen and Adam Lambert took the stage for the last time, joined by former contestants and big stars alike. Nicole Richie enjoyed her dad's duet with Danny Gokey with Joel and her little sister Sophia, while Victoria and Romeo Beckham took seats in the audience as well. As promised, the night was full of fun surprises from Kara's surprise sing along (and smokin' hot bikini body - who knew?) to an awesome rendition of "We Are the Champions" featuring Queen.

Other favorites were Fergie getting down with the Black Eyed Peas and Allison singing "Time After Time" with Cyndi Lauper - what was your favorite moment? Of course, the biggest surprise of the night may have been Kris's big win, and no one looked more shocked than the new idol himself. Whether or not you agree with the results, both Adam and Kris proved their star power all season and we're sure that we'll be seeing and hearing a whole lot more from these talented boys in the years to come. Johnny and Tim's Sweeney Todd Meets NYC

Johnny Depp put on a dapper suit with some snazzy red accents (but kept the scuffed up shoes) for last night's NYC premiere of Sweeney Todd. Of course, his partner, friend and director Tim Burton was there to show off his newest masterpiece, but both gentlemen's ladyfolk opted out. Also flying solo for the evening was new dad Sacha Baron Cohen, though I can't blame Isla for wanting to stay home with amazingly adorable Olive. Zachary Quinto - exciting Sylar stuff last night, eh? - dressed it up with a turtleneck sweater (see: Heroes Rule). We've still got a few more weeks to wait for the December 21 release date, but hopefully before then we'll get more of their red and black (oooh, gruesome) themed premieres to tide us over until then.

Oscar Party Roundup

Apparently George Clooney would rather hang with ex-girlfriend Krista Allen instead of hang at the big Oscar parties. He may have spent the days leading up to Oscar with Krista and then reportedly skipped out on VF and the Elton bash to hang with his buddies and Krista at an Italian Restaurant. I wonder if Teri was upset he was not at the VF bash.

At Elton's party apparently things got a bit out of hand and it had to be closed down due to a 1am curfew but he did raise a lot of money so go Elton.

At the VF party, Paris was denied entry, Jen and Vince were almost inseparable and Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were caught touching each other under the table.
