Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood Join Nicole and Keith For the ACM Awards

Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood hit the red carpet at this evening's ACM Awards in Las Vegas. They were joined by many other stars from the country music world, including the Band Perry and Lady Antebellum. Carrie donned a white strapless number from Abed Mahfouz, while Taylor picked a J. Mendel gown in a similar hue. Miranda Lambert picked gold to pose alongside her husband Blake Shelton, while Nicole Kidman, in L'Wren Scott, and Keith Urban posed as a couple. LeAnn Rimes wore the super popular Stella McCartney dress that has been seen lately on Brooklyn Decker, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Sienna Miller. She brought along husband Eddie Cibrian, and they made a mini-scene with their PDA on the carpet.

Taylor is up for three statues tonight, including entertainer of the year. That category sees her up against four of country's most established male artists like Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, and Blake Shelton. Nicole Kidman Takes Off From Australia With Keith and the Girls

Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban boarded a flight out of Sydney yesterday afternoon with daughters Faith and Sunday. It was the latest adventure for the jet-setting foursome, who were together in the US just a few weeks ago. All the intercontinental travel allows the family to be together while Keith is busy filming an Australian edition of The Voice. He's one of the mentors on the program, along with Joel Madden, Delta Goodrem, and Seal.

They're heading back to America so that Keith can perform at Sunday's Academy of Country Music Awards, which will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The show will be broadcast Sunday evening at 7 p.m. on CBS. Keith will be on stage along with many of his fellow musical superstars, including Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, and Blake Shelton.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban made their way through Sydney's airport with daughters Sunday and Faith yesterday. The family of four is on the go after spending a stint in Australia. Nicole was Down Under to participate in Tropfest, an annual festival of short films. She was a judge at the festival, as was Cate Blanchett, Geoffrey Rush, and Toni Collette. At the event, Nicole spoke about her career and how being a mom has affected how she picks projects. Nicole said, "It takes a lot now for me to want to act. I have a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old. It takes a lot to drag me out of home." While Nicole deliberated with Cate and company, Keith was busy as well. He filmed the Australian version of The Voice alongside Joel Madden and Delta Goodrem.

The whole Kidman-Urban family stepped out in Sydney yesterday. Nicole carried 1-year-old Faith while Keith held onto Sunday's hand. The foursome recently traveled Down Under, where Keith will appear on the Australian version of The Voice. He'll mentor a group of singers along with other coaches Seal, Joel Madden, and Delta Goodrem in the series, which will air sometime this year. Keith's been the one singing lately, since he hit the stage at the Grand Ole Opry for his first post-throat surgery show earlier this month and had two concerts in Texas over the weekend. He's not the only star to recently recover from the vocal cord procedure since Adele made her own return performance at last night's Grammys.

Nicole Kidman carried her baby daughter Faith Urban yesterday in LA. Along with Keith Urban, the trio browsed for snacks and treats at an LA farmers market. Nicole and Keith were casual in jeans for the outing, but last month were in red-carpet finery for the Golden Globes. We'll see more of Nicole before the cameras as she gears up for the HBO premiere of Hemingway & Gellhorn. She stars alongside Clive Owen in the period piece about Ernest Hemingway and his relationship with journalist Martha Gellhorn. Both Nicole and Clive were recently in Pasadena to discuss the project at the TCAs. Nicole spoke about Gellhorn while there, commenting, "I think I'm attracted to many different roles, but there are times when I feel the need to play someone that inspires me. Martha inspires me. . . I love playing women who defy the odds and burn bright."

Keith, meanwhile, is looking forward to a return to the stage tomorrow. He's performing at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, in what will be his first live performance since having a polyp removed from his vocal chords back in November. Friday will see him back before a crowd for a second show. Keith and Nicole aren't yet confirmed to attend this year's Grammys on Feb. 12, though they're usually among the stars who turn out for that celebration.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban held onto 3-year-old Sunday's hands during a stroll around NYC's SoHo neighborhood yesterday. Their youngest daughter, Faith, didn't join the trio for the shopping trip, which apparently included a stop by a pet store. Faith's first birthday on Dec. 28 will wrap up an exciting 2011 for the family of four that included Keith's world tour, Nicole's many movie projects, and countless award shows. Keith and Nicole's busy 12 months of red carpets started with the Critics' Choice and Golden Globes in January and continued with the CMT and CMA awards later in the year. The excitement isn't over for the couple, since Nicole has multiple films coming out in 2012 and Keith already has concert dates lined up.

Reese Witherspoon was pretty in pink as she stepped on stage to present at last night's CMA Awards in Nashville. The movie star was in the company of country music's biggest names, which of course include Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood. For the red carpet Taylor Swift wore a strapless J. Mendel, Carrie Underwood was in Reem Acra, and Ginnifer Goodwin was in Prabal Gurung. Taylor performed her new love song "Ours" during the show, and she also took home the biggest honor of the evening, Entertainer of the Year. Taylor also won that award in 2009, making her the second woman to earn it twice. Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley played cohosts for the third year in a row and once again showed off their funny chemistry on stage.

Reese wasn't the only Oscar-winning actress in the house, since Nicole Kidman was there on the arm of her husband Keith Urban. Faith Hill hit the red carpet in a stunning white Chado Ralph Rucci gown with Tim McGraw by her side. Country music's finest came out for the BMI Awards in Nashville last night. The event celebrates songwriters and publishers in the genre and is held during CMA Week. Nicole Kidman showed support for her husband Keith Urban in an asymmetrical Stella McCartney gown. Keith, who recently postponed a benefit concert due to a growth on his vocal chords, took home two honors at the show. Taylor Swift accepted an award in her sparkling Emilio Pucci mini while LeAnn Rimes gave one of the evening's performances. Carrie Underwood grabbed three plaques, though they may just be the beginning of the awards for the singer. She's up for female vocalist of the year at today's Country Music Awards, which she's cohosting with Brad Paisley. Carrie shared her beauty secrets as she prepped for the big show, saying that she treats any big event like she's in training. Nicole Kidman was decked out in NYC last night to attend a Cinema Society screening of Snow Flower and the Secret Fan at the Tribeca Grand Hotel with her husband Keith Urban. The showing was co-sponsored by Ivanka Trump Jewelry and the designer herself attended with her own spouse Jared Kushner. Pregnant Ivanka and Jared are expecting their first child, a girl, any day now. The impending delivery didn't get in the way of Ivanka's socializing, as she made the rounds to say hello to Kelly Bensimon, Irina Shayk, and Wendi Murdoch. Today is actually Ivanka's due date, and she wrote on Twitter this morning, "Heading to work . . . Instinct tells me that this little girl is not planning on making her debut today. We'll see!" Nicole and Keith, meanwhile, left their children at home when they hit the town. Nicole Kidman and daughters Faith and Sunday are back on the East Coast after traveling together last week.
