Fashion Week Comes to a Star-Studded Close in NYC

Yesterday was the last day of Spring Fashion Week in NYC, and the celebrity attendants closed the spectacle in style. Tommy Hilfiger's show and afterparty brought out Penn Badgley and Naomi Watts, while the designer himself posed with a pretty-in-pink January Jones. Taylor Swift took a break from the ongoing Kanye drama to take in Tommy's presentation, as did Rosario Dawson and Emily Blunt. Amanda Bynes spent her afternoon at Ann Taylor, and Rachel Zoe was in an olive onesie to toast the latest Calvin Klein collection - though she had to cut out early to nurse her flu with her special drink. Old Navy, New Starlets Come Out to Party

Old Navy lured out some of Hollywood's hottest young stars for its "New Year, New Old Navy" party in NYC last night to celebrate the store's new, hip creative direction. While none of the red carpet cuties wore any color at all (come on now guys, I know it's Manhattan, but muted isn't an actual dress code), they still managed to turn up the heat. Victoria's Secret's Sexiest Newcomer Blake Lively looked smokin' in her pants and top combo alongside fellow Gossip-er Chace Crawford. He wasn't looking too shabby himself. Oh, how I miss that show already. Neither Sophia Bush nor Kristen Bell seems to miss a party these days, so of course they were there for the event, as was Little Miss Serious Hero and activist Hayden P. Blake, Kristen, and Hayden may all be cozying up with their boys these days, but is Mr. TRL Damien Fahey taken? If not, someone should snatch him right up.

Fashion Week Is Still Bringing Out the Friendly Faces

NY Fashion Week is almost over, but plenty of celebs are still there to power through the home stretch. Fergie looked cute and modest while presenting a check for a donation to the Fashion Designers of America as part of her duties as the face of MAC's Viva Glam campaign. Meanwhile at the Marchesa show, Eliza Dushku was giving us a nice blast from the past (Bring It On, anyone?) posing with Anne Hathaway who has been all over FW right from the start. The exciting week will finish off tomorrow with Project Runway and the always highly anticipated Marc Jacobs show. Rumor is we can expect Kevin Federline to make an appearance among all the real fashionistas at MJ. Can't believe he scored a ticket to that one!

The Elle Style Awards

It really is award season when among the music and movie awards we can find time to recognize the fashionable ones as well. Last night in London, the Elle Style Awards took place and gave Madonna the top honor, the Style Icon Award (however she seems to be MIA from the event which is weird since it was co-hosted by her friends, H&M, hmmm). Pretty Penelope was also on hand to pick up the award for Best Film, Volver. Kate Moss was busy so Naomi Campbell scored the award for Best Model. She even had some thoughts to share on all the hype surrounding super skinny models. Here's more:

"You can't blame the industry for a psychological disease.
"It is a disease, like alcohol or drugs... and the industry is not to blame."

Naomi gave props to her modelling agency, IMG, for issuing guidelines to make sure models were well fed at the shows... She also praised the ban of girls under 16 from the catwalks in Milan.

When asked to name her own style icon, she chose her best friend and fellow model Kate Moss. "It's always Kate. I love my Kate," gushed Naomi.

Love that Naomi gave props to her friend Kate. I can also understand why she wants those under 16 to stay home. They are her competition after all - not that she can't land a job.
