Bright colors were all the rage at last night's CFDA Awards in NYC. Blake Lively and Ashley Olsen could not have looked more different in their pink and orange respectively, but both ladies embraced a love of color. Diane Kruger also stood out in red and black even without her best accessory Josh Jackson on her arm.

Another Cannes red carpet lit up today, but this time it was about charity instead of movies as the stars came out for Sharon Stone's annual amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS 2009 benefit. After a long night of partying with Brad and Angelina, Joshua Jackson accompanied Diane Kruger to the event, while Paris and Doug represented a different kind of couple. Robert Pattinson didn't need a leading lady on his arm to stand out in another dapper suit and Josh Hartnett also provided some eye candy for the ladies.

Mary-Kate Olsen continued to make the rounds at the Tribeca Film Festival yesterday, looking gorgeous in Nina Ricci and Topshop at a Chanel event at Odeon restaurant in NYC. Joining her was a scruffy Adrien Brody and the always fashion-forward Diane Kruger — whose outfit did you like more? MK is a juror at the film festival this year, and last night she talked about how excited she is, saying,

Halle Berry met up with Academy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson yesterday afternoon for ESSENCE magazine's Black Women in Hollywood luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel. There's extra cause for celebration this year, as it's only the second time in Oscars history that two black women, Taraji and Viola Davis, are nominated in the category of Best Supporting Actress.

The Huffington Post threw a pre-Inaugural Ball in DC last night to celebrate today's momentous occasion and find an excuse for another star-studded party. Arianna herself took the stage with will.i.am, and clearly the mood was joyful for the soiree. Demi and Ashton are still going strong after a long weekend of partying.

Samuel L. Jackson was honored by friends and colleagues last night at the American Cinematheque gala in LA. The event was sponsored by AMC, so Jon Hamm was out with his girlfriend to support Mad Men's home network, while JT hammed it up on stage.

Alicia Silverstone looked mesmerized as Matt Damon took the stage to rally for Obama at VoteFest '08 in Miami Beach yesterday. Matt, Alicia, and Kerry Washington are touring multiple South Florida cities to promote early voting in the swing state. The 2009 Spring fashion season came to a close in Paris last night after a whirlwind month of shows in New York, London, and Milan. Lots of stars were out to celebrate, with Emma Watson, Claudia Schiffer, and Naomi Campbell taking in YSL and Chanel while Dita von Teese and Lenny Kravitz checked out Marc Jacobs's newest work at Louis Vuitton. After shopping around the city, Kate Bosworth brought her man James Rousseau to the Miu Miu show last night along with Kirsten Dunst, who is a former face of the brand.

Will Smith and Jada put on their big red carpet smiles out to support her brother Caleb Pinkett at his premiere of Lakeview Terrace in NYC last night. As for Caleeb's costars, Samuel L. Jackson had his usual Kangol while Kerry Washington was all wrapped up in red.
