Jessica Alba and Cash Warren were among the famous guests who turned out last night for "An Evening With Ralph Lauren," which was hosted by Oprah Winfrey at NYC's Lincoln Center. Other ladies who love Ralph's designs, like Naomi Watts, Uma Thurman, and Kerry Washington, hit the blue carpet solo. Jerry Seinfeld and his wife Jessica posed as a pair. Ralph had the support of his family at the event, which was a benefit for the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention and Lincoln Center, including sons Andrew and David, daughter Dylan, and wife Ricky. David, who married Lauren Bush just over a month ago, proudly sported his new ring as he and his wife mingled and said hi to Naomi.

Ralph and Oprah sat on stage to talk about the designer's lengthy career, and what continues to inspire him. Naomi Watts shared her thoughts on Ralph's body of work as well. She said, "He's been famous for so long. I grew up following him. Ralph Lauren is a great American icon, and he's here along with another great American icon. It's my pleasure to be here."

Alicia Debuts "Typewriter," Justin Teams Up With Nicki, and Rihanna Wins Then Loses to Chris Brown at BET Awards

The BET Awards celebrated the largest names in hip-hop and R&B with wild fashion, high-energy dance routines, and a mini scandal at LA's Shrine Auditorium last night. The show kicked off with a mashup of hits from Mary J. Blige before the awards were dished out to the night's winners. Taking a break from touring with Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj joined Justin Bieber to present the best male hip-hop artist award to Kanye West. Nicki didn't go home empty handed as she took home the honors for best female hip-hop artist. Justin was without his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, but he was in the company of pals Jaden and Willow Smith, who stepped out with their parents, Will and Jada, and the siblings shared the win in the young stars category.

The night was full of incredible performances including a medley of hits and the debut of a new single, "Typewriter," from Alicia Keys, who was also marking the 10-year anniversary of her mega hit album Songs in A Minor. Most of the evening went down without a hitch, but there was a critical mix-up in BET's viewer's choice category when Chris Brown was announced the winner, then it was switched to Rihanna and Drake. Turns out Chris was the actual winner, and the error was due to teleprompter confusion, though Drake admittedly felt "awkward" about the error. Chris finished out the evening with four awards while Jennifer Hudson grabbed the win for best female R&B artist and Patti LaBelle was recognized with a lifetime achievement award - get the full list of BET winners here!

The Olsens, Jessica, Miranda, Ashley, and More Step Out For Colorful CFDA Awards

The 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards were a colorful affair at the Lincoln Center in NYC last night. The evening honored designers from Alexander Wang to Proenza Schouler - check out the full list of CFDA Fashion Awards winners on Fashionologie. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen earned their first nomination for The Row, though it was Prabal Gurung that took home the Swarovski award for womenswear. MK and Ashley were both decked out in their own line when it came to dresses and bags, with Mary-Kate adding a Chanel jacket to complete the look. Jessica Alba was summery in Diane von Furstenberg while both Miranda Kerr and Ashley Greene looked fabulous in Michael Kors.

Naomi Watts and Kerry Washington both wore custom Calvin Klein collections and Alessandra Ambrosio was decked out in Prabal Gurung. The supermodel twittered her excitement when Gurung took home the honors. Kirsten Dunst kept things classically tailored in a Patrik Ervell tuxedo. Lady Gaga sported a bright green wig and some insanely high heels while heading in to be recognized during the show for her fashion icon status. Anderson Cooper played host for the evening and was joined by some other stylish men, including Kanye West and Gerard Butler.
