Kristen Bell has been killing it on the talk-show circuit recently. Following her adorable sloth story on Ellen, last night on Conan, the actress outlined her philosophy on a man's butt, or like she likes to call it, his cupcakes. In fact, according to Kristen, men and their butts fall into various categories. If you don't have cupcakes, you might have "flap-jack buns." Conan then made up his own classification for himself. Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard relaxed at an LA park together on Saturday. The couple, who have been engaged since 2010, read magazines while their dogs played nearby. Kristen recently stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to chat about her upcoming movie Big Miracle, though talk turned to her 31st birthday last Summer when Dax presented Kristen with a gift she'd been dreaming about her whole life. Dax arranged for a sloth to be at their house during the bash, and in her extreme excitement, Kristen cried hysterically - the Kristen Bell with a sloth video is too funny to miss!

Kristen and Dax are keeping busy with multiple projects on both the big and small screens. Dax has his current TV hit, Parenthood and a new romantic comedy called Outrun hitting theaters this Summer while Kristen's whale-saving drama, Big Miracle, comes out on Friday and a new episode of her House of Lies airs on Showtime this Sunday.

When we recently met with Kristen in LA to talk about the movie, which filmed on location just outside of Anchorage, she told us she was up for the challenges the role presented. Not only did she grow up in Detroit, where the Winters are notoriously harsh, but as an actress, she said she could relate to her character's ambition as well as her career setbacks. Kristen also talked about what it was like to be caught in an onscreen love triangle between Drew Barrymore and her longtime friend John Krasinski, and a magical moment during the shoot that left her feeling "insignificant." Statement lipstick may well be the most popular celebrity look we've seen emerge in the past month, with Hollywood dames wearing everything from classic red to neon pink. This week, several lovely ladies decided to give pretty orange-pink hues a try. Emily Blunt went with a glossy poppy pink that contrasted nicely against her powdery gown, while Demi Lovato wore a creamier shade with plenty of orange thrown in to accentuate her dark auburn hair. And Kristen Bell took things in a slightly different direction with a shimmery, semisheer shade that was soft but eye catching. They're all red-carpet winners in our book, but which lipstick do you love best?

Pilot Scoop: House of Lies

The major networks aren't the only ones trotting out new midseason shows; Showtime is getting in on the fun with tonight's premiere of House of Lies. The 30-minute comedy has a great cast that includes Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell as slick, fast-talking management consultants.

What it's about: Cheadle leads the way as Marty, who has essentially sold his soul for a fat paycheck, along with the three other people on his team (Bell, Ben Schwartz, and Josh Lawson). Marty's not all business though; he's got a "psycho" ex-wife who works for a competing firm, and a young son whose top priorities are shoe shopping and landing the role of Sandy in the school production of Grease.
Where it works: Cheadle is as excellent as always, and getting an inside look into Marty's world is appealing, especially since this is Showtime we're talking about here. Whether or not the raunchy debauchery that Marty gets into is realistic, it makes for good entertainment.
Where it doesn't: Though I laughed a couple of times, sometimes the pilot feels too smug for its own good. There's also the issue that Marty consistently freezes time to break the fourth wall and explain what he's thinking, which is a little too reminiscent of Zack Morris's timeouts on Saved by the Bell.
You might like this show if: You're into Showtime's Californication; the humor is similar and there's just as much nudity.
When it's on: Sundays at 10 p.m.
