Kristen Stewart Returns Home Without Robert Pattinson

Kristen Stewart arrived at LAX last night fresh off an international flight from France. Kristen modeled designer gowns from Balenciaga and Reem Acra during her stay in Cannes, but on her return trip she was more comfortable in a pair of skinny jeans and Nike sneakers. Kristen was in Cannes promoting her upcoming release, On the Road, and also found time to attend a screening of Robert Pattinson's latest project, Cosmopolis. Rob and Kristen stuck close and held hands at his post-premiere celebration, and were making out at her On the Road afterparty.

Kristen Stewart slipped out of her Reem Acra gown and into a Dolce & Gabbana t-shirt and sexy black shorts for Robert Pattinson's Cosmopolis Cannes Film Festival afterparty. Earlier in the evening, Rob hit the red carpet solo at the film's formal premiere, while Kristen stuck close to his best friend, and her On the Road costar, Tom Sturridge. The trip to France came right in the middle of Kristen's international Snow White and the Huntsman press tour. The film opens in theaters June 1, and Kristen's headed back to the states next week for a few more promotional stops. As for Rob, he's in the running for two of the hottest roles in Hollywood. New reports say Rob's considering the part of Finnick Odair in Catching Fire, the follow-up to The Hunger Games, and he's among the sexy guys competing to play Christian in Fifty Shades of Grey.

The 65th Cannes Film Festival is underway, with stars stepping out for glamorous events each day. Brad Pitt hit the red carpet looking hot in a classic tux while Diane Kruger emerged in a white feathered Nina Ricci gown for the premiere of Killing Them Softly with Joshua Jackson. Kristen Stewart and Kirsten Dunst linked up for the On the Road photocall and Robert Pattinson hit the red carpet dressed up in a suit to support Kristen's big Cannes premiere. She posed alongside Rob's pal and her On the Road costar Tom Sturridge at the event. Rob chose a hot tuxedo for his big moment after also hitting the red carpet to support Kristen at her premiere yesterday. Rob and Kristen celebrated with PDA at the afterparty along with their friends and costars. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart kissed late night yesterday in Cannes. The couple were at Le Baron's Cannes outpost celebrating the premiere of her new movie On the Road. Robert checked out the screening as well, but walked the red carpet solo. A Balenciaga-clad Kristen nonetheless had plenty of male company. She posed for pictures alongside leading men Sam Riley and Garrett Hedlund, as well as supporting actors like Rob's BFF Tom Sturridge. We caught the movie yesterday as well - make sure to check out our review of On the Road. The movie is making waves because of some surprise topless scenes from Kristen. She didn't seem too caught up in the attention last night, though, as she spent time alongside Rob. It will be Robert's turn to debut a film tomorrow, as his Cosmopolis will be screened at the Grand Palais.
