Saturday was filled with family fun for Kate Hudson and her son Ryder. They met up with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell in Santa Monica, where they rode bikes near the beach and enjoyed the sunny LA weather. Kate's fiancé Matthew Bellamy didn't join them for the afternoon outing, but he did spend time with Kate and Goldie last week. The trio was together in London to celebrate the launch of Goldie's Hawn Foundation, which develops programs for children. Goldie kept the party going into the early morning, when she was seen being helped into the back of a car. Kate fit in a couple's walk with Matt on Friday before heading back to the West Coast with her mom.

Kurt Russell Loved All of Daughter Kate Hudson's Exes

The man who raised Kate Hudson since she was a toddler and who she considers her dad, Kurt Russell, told a Canadian entertainment show that he loved all of her exes. He said he still loves the starlet's ex-husband, Chris Robinson, who's the father of her 7-year-old son, Ryder, and had a good time hanging out with ex-boyfriend ARod. Lucky for Kate, who is currently pregnant and engaged to Matthew Bellamy, her dad also thinks Matthew is a "wonderful guy."

I would think most fathers wouldn't be too keen on the guy who broke their daughter's heart, but maybe if the daughter was the one doing the breaking up, it'd be a different story. Also, for dads with only daughters, the boyfriends can act as surrogate sons, and losing them after a breakup can be tough on the fathers.

The organization devotes itself to improving behavior and learning for children through cultivating well-being and emotional balance. Newly engaged Kate has been in the Big Apple promoting her upcoming romantic comedy, Something Borrowed, with stops at The Late Show and an exciting interview with Matt Lauer on the Today show, where she first revealed the news of her upcoming wedding and flashed her $200,000 ring. Goldie was back to work early this morning, recovering from her "fun-raiser" and joining the ladies of The View to discuss the royal wedding. The panel was divided on Kate Middleton's Alexander McQueen dress, with Goldie adding, "She has a gorgeous shaped head, she looked angelic." It's Matt's first time at her famous soiree, which was canceled last year since she was busy cheering on then-boyfriend Alex Rodriquez in the World Series. This time around, Kate went all out with a guest list that included Adam Sandler, Leonardo DiCaprio, and David Spade to name a few. Rachel Zoe was a makeshift Indian warrior while Gwen Stefani dressed as cat woman and twittered lots of photos of her No Doubt bandmates at the party. Nicole Richie wore a dramatic fur coat as Margot Tenenbaum and snuck in sweet kisses with Joel during their night away from their two kids. Amanda Seyfried decided not to go the sexy route and instead sported a furry dog costume, arriving and leaving with Ryan Phillippe. He was decked out as Obi Wan Kenobi but was still recognizable under his hood unlike Leonardo in his many scary masks. As usual it was the hottest Halloween invite in town, but the following day all the parents in the group switched into trick-or-treating mode for all their adorable kids.

Now that Kate and Alex are no longer an item, it looks like the only busy schedule she'll be taking into account for the near future is her own. She celebrated another successful shindig by getting manicures and pedicures on Saturday with her friend Sara Foster.
