Oprah Joins Will, John and Sidney to Celebrate Tyler's Studio

Oprah Winfrey brought both Stedman Graham and Gayle King to the opening gala for Tyler Perry's new movie and TV studio in Atlanta on Saturday night. While Oprah is dealing with a defamation lawsuit from the former headmistress of her South African Girls school, it was the history-making event that had Oprah so emotional. Tyler is the first African-American to own his own studio and there were a few tears in the crowd as he took the stage to announce that he's named three sound-stages after the legendary actors Ruby Dee, Cecily Tyson and Sidney Poitier. Sidney was there to accept the honor, saying, "I spent 56 years making movies and this is the reward that I have that means the most to me." With a supportive crowd including Will Smith, John Legend and many others, it was truly an event worth celebrating.

Rihanna Poses With Pete and Gets Paranoid With Kanye

Rihanna was all smiles last night at the Island Def Jam party in NYC where she was being honored for selling 12 million records. She posed with Pete and happily chatted with other guests, who were also thrilled to check out the debut of "Paranoid," the new Kanye West video. "Paranoid" stars a scantily clad and angry Rihanna - watch it after the jump. Another thing keeping Rih smiling these days is a new man in her life. Earlier this week, the singer was spotted making out with a rapper named Drake at a bowling alley. Sounds like she is having fun these days and enjoying life in the moment.

Eva Longoria Still Dreams For Hope Not Babies, Yet

Eva Longoria sparkled on the red carpet at last night's Padres Contra El Cancer's 8th Annual "El Sueno De Esperanza" benefit gala in LA. With children and Eva there, naturally talk turned to babies. After responding "nope" when asked about plans to have kids soon, she said, "People always say 'I want a boy! I want a girl!' I just think, Oh my gosh, I just want a healthy child. . . That's truly a gift. If you're a healthy adult, to complain about anything in life that's so minute, you really have to be grateful for everything that you have and do something with it." Just another sound bite to add to her library of baby answers, which happens to be the same thing she said at the event last year - I'd feel bad for her if she didn't seem like she's eating up the attention.

Paris Rallies the Hilton Family to Help Erase MS

Paris Hilton followed through with her talking Erase MS t-shirt, by continuing to show her dedication to the cause at the 15th Annual Race to Erase MS event in LA this weekend. She didn't have her possible future husband by her side, but she did have plenty of support from her parents and sister Nicky. Too bad Nicky didn't help pick out her family's outfits since she is the best dressed of the bunch. Also worth noting is that Tara Reid was having an on night, looking fresh faced and polished in her yellow gown. We thought these three weren't friends anymore after Taradise but apparently a good cause can help bring frenemies together.

Maggie Gyllenhaal Goes Green For Fashion Week

The past few weeks have been filled with Fashion Weeks galore, and on Thursday night Maggie helped get things started in LA, hosting the SoyJoy's Fashionably Natural show. The runways showcased designs made with organic materials like bamboo and soy, and Maggie talked a little about how she tries to keep Ramona dressed in eco-friendly ensembles. While news of Maggie and Jake's parents' supposed split hit the media this week, we're glad that Maggie still has a smile on her face and great things to say about her family.

One More Set of Grammy Parties - Woo Hoo!

More, more, more Grammys fun! The after parties rolled on last night, and I can't say I blame everyone for wanting to let loose after that marathon show. Rihanna and her friend? boyfriend? Chris Brown got cozy at the LA Reid /EW party, though things got a little bumpy for Rih-Rih when another car hit her limo when she was trying to leave. Thankfully no one was injured. Kid Rock, Rande Gerber, and Cindy Crawford posed at the Warner Music Group bash, while Fergie rocked another mysteriously flowy dress with Josh and Nelly at Universal Music Group's event. Lindsay Lohan skipped (not invited to?) the actual award show but made sure to hit up the other events of the evening. Looks like she's back on the scene with a vengeance. Paris and her Sidekicks Through the Years Love 2BFree

Paris hit the runway at LA Fashion Week last night to support her old friends at 2BFree and their brightly colored lounge wear. Wheee! Sidekicks newer, older and hopefully never again (Elisha, Brandon, Hayden respectively) were all in the front row to support the heiress. Even reformed sidekick Tara Reid was in the house. Unforch, perennial sidekick Nicole was not around to share in the fun. Perhaps she wasn't interested in scoring any free neon leggings. Can't imagine why not.

Mariah and Her Bikinis Head on Honeymoon No. 2 With Nick

After celebrating their wedding again with a lavish Hamptons party over the weekend, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon headed off on Honeymoon No. 2, this time to Italy. The Saturday night soiree was hosted by LA Reid and attended by celebrity guests including Gwyneth Paltrow, Mary J. Blige, Kelly Ripa and Samuel L. Jackson and got so wild it even included a visit from the cops after a noise complaint. From there, it was right off to yachting in Italy for the newlyweds - on a boat that apparently has lots of fitness equipment. Rightfully, it looks like this vacation was more about that wine in hand and splashing around than keeping those figures looking so great.

AFI Awards Bring Out Australian Celebs and Tara Reid

It was a big night down under as Aussie celebs came out to celebrate the Australian Film Institute Awards in Melbourne. Cate Blanchett was in from Sydney, where she recently showed off her baby bump at a premiere, along with Eric Bana, who won the best actor and people's choice awards. Tara Reid, already in Australia to host parties at a discounted rate, scored a last-minute invite, saying, "I always pop up everywhere in Australia, like a jack-in-the-box." We have to say, Tara looks pretty tiny in her possibly pleated/bubbled LBD and watch out Australia - you never know where she'll be appearing next.
