Britney Deals With New Photo Scandal, "Womanizer" Delayed

Britney Spears spent Saturday afternoon at the Will Rogers Polo Club to cheer on the Spears Family-sponsored team on a day to benefit the Promises Foundation. This isn't the first time Brit has been involved with the organization recently - earlier this month she donated a portrait of herself for auction. Looks like a relaxing afternoon for Britney, but there's new stressful news of someone trying to shop around very personal photos of Brit, Jamie Lynn, Maddie, and the rest of the family that were possibly obtained when Casey brought his camera in to be developed. All this right before Britney's big week, though rumor has it the release of the new single you already love, "Womanizer," has been pushed back a few days. Finally, one place we might not be seeing more of Brit is How I Met Your Mother - on the Emmy red carpet, Kristin from E! revealed that Britney's people offered her up for more episodes, but the show hasn't taken her up on the offer yet.

The Resurrection of Britney Spears and More VMA Winners

Britney Spears was greeted with cheers of excitement, which must have boosted her confidence before finally scoring her first VMA. The good luck kept coming as she took home three moonmen last night! Britney was "speechless" but then added, "Oh, my goodness, thank you! I first wanna thank God for blessing me like this. My family ... my two beautiful boys for inspiring me everyday." At the end of the show, Russell called it "the resurrection of Britney Spears" which we couldn't agree with more. You all thought she would win but she wasn't the only one who scored last night - click here for all the 2008 MTV VMA winners! Chris Brown, the Pussycat Dolls, and Tokio Hotel also took home trophies and don't forget, you too can be a winner like the VMA presenters by entering to win the fabulous goody bag they took home last night.

Britney's Next Video Shoot Is on Her Radar

Britney Spears must have been inspired by her time with the Pussycat Dolls - even if her cameo is blink and you'll miss it - because she spent last night back at the recording studio in Burbank with Larry Rudolph. We may not be getting a whole lot of her in the PCD video, but apparently we should be expecting more Britney on MTV soon. The latest is that she will be headed to London to shoot the video for "Radar," her next single off Blackout. Her last video left a little to be desired, so hopefully all that time in the gym and studio means she'll be in tip-top dancing shape showing off her moves back in front of the camera.

The Simpsons Viva Las Vegas with Some Help From LC and Lo

Ashlee Simpson jumped on the braid bandwagon and headed to Las Vegas this weekend to watch her man Pete spin at the Grand Opening of Palms Place Hotel & Spa on Saturday night. It was a family affair with Papa Joe and Jess in the house, and while Tony skipped the event, he was right by Jessica's side in San Diego yesterday. Lauren and Lo left The Hills long enough to attend the event, while Sarah Larson had to walk the red carpet all by her lonesome, poor baby. Pete kept the crowd entertained with dedications to his "baby mama" and father-in-law, but we're going to have to wait to hear more of Ashlee's musical stylings - she unsurprisingly postponed her Summer tour to get ready for her new baby.

Britney and Larry Are Sunshine and Rainbows

Awww, yay. Britney Spears was positively beaming on her way out of the recording studio with Larry Rudolph and her parents last night. From the looks of it, there's no residual bad mood from her minor weekend fender bender, and she's super happy about reuniting with her old manager. Between trips to the gym and the recording studio, there's not much to report on Brit these days. Even her custody battle is at a standstill while she gets everything back on track. There's a ways to go yet, but seeing her with that big Britney smile is enough to bring one to our faces as well.

Britney Rehires Larry Rudolph As Manager!

Britney Spears has apparently reunited with her old manager, Larry Rudolph! Jamie Spears has been helping turn Britney's life around, and if the latest rumors are true, this is another big step in the right direction. Larry, who is credited with discovering Brit, first parted ways with her when she married Kevin, only to reunite when they divorced. Most recently, she fired Larry last April after he played a part in sending her to rehab. It's unknown how long he has been back working with her now.

Jamie Spears always supported Larry's decision to send Britney to rehab, so it's not surprising that he reached out to her old manager to help get Britney's career back on track. Larry has been a huge part of Britney's professional life, so hopefully this is a sign of more good things to come.

Britney Sends Her Former Manager into Hiding?

After her Friday night run-in with the cops, Britney was back out and about in LA yesterday. Lately it seems like she is actually trying to clean herself up as displayed by the cute LWD and fresher longer extensions. That being said, she is still not everyone's favorite person to be around. Britney's former manager Larry Rudolph told Ryan Seacrest that he's gone into hiding to try to avoid being pulled into Britney and Kevin's custody battle. Sounds a bit extreme to us, but we can't really blame him for trying to stay away from the dramatic legal issues of the Spears Federline family.

Is Britney Tipping Off the Paparazzi?

Britney went back to wearing her favorite heinous boots while headed to a tanning salon to get her orange on this week. The latest rumor is that she's been calling the paparazzi agencies before she heads out so they can get pics of her new slim figure. Probably not a good idea since she's already risking overexposure. Everyone is kind of getting tired of the girl so when she does try to comeback no one may be around to listen. She should lay low and give us something to look forward to when she comes out of hiding but we doubt that's going to happen anytime soon.

In other Britney news Larry Rudolph is gearing up for a lawsuit. He has hired lawyers to sue Britney for breach of contract.

Britney's Dad Speaks Out, Brit Lashes Out Right Back

The drama never ends with Britney Spears, but this time it's her own family who is stirring the pot. It seems that Britney's father, Jamie Spears (who claims to be speaking for the whole family), is rather disappointed and embarrassed by his daughter's recent actions, especially that of firing her manager Larry Rudolph. Jamie went so far as to release the following statement to Page Six:

"When Larry Rudolph talked Britney into going into rehab, he was doing what her mother, father and team of professionals with over 100 years of experience knew needed to be done. She was out of control. Larry was the one chosen by the team to roll up his sleeves and deliver the message, to help save her life.

"The Spears family would like to publicly apologize to Larry for our daughter's statements about him over the past few weeks. Unfortunately, she blames him and her family for where she is at today with her kids and career. Larry has always been there for Britney. For this, we will forever be grateful to him."

Britney's newly rehired publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnick responded with this from Brit, "I am praying for my father. We have never had a good relationship. It's sad that all the men that have been in my life do not know how to accept a real woman's love. I am concentrating on my work and my life right now." Oh, bringing K-Fed and Justin into this, too. Plus, the Page Six item claims a friend of Britney's says that she had no drugs in her system when she entered Promises and shaved her head out of solidarity for her aunt who recently died of cancer. So, basically the public meltdown was entirely blown out of proportion. Sure.

While Britney already made it clear in her bizarre video rant last weekend that she isn't happy with her management for sending her to rehab, I imagine this isn't the last we'll hear of this very public argument. She never has been one to mince words.

Britney Changes Things Up Yet Again

It may appear that Britney is spending all her time dancing, dining and shopping, but she's been making some big career decisions as well. After recent rumors that she was unhappy with her manager Larry Rudolph, she's apparently giving him the boot. The pop star reunited with Larry after her split with Kevin and she blames him for encouraging her to hang out with Paris leading to the pantyless partying and massive fallout with her fans last year.

Unfortunately, firing the man who helped make her famous may not be easy, as she is probably going to see some legal issues for breaking her contract. The good new is that Britney was finally smart enough to re-hire PR powerhouse Leslie Sloane Zelnick to help get things back on track. This really is the best Britney news we've heard in ages.
