Lauren Tends to Her Garden Before Playing Games

Lauren Conrad stopped to grab lunch before hitting up Home Depot for garden supplies yesterday, twittering about her green thumb on her way out. Later in the evening she got dressed up for the Assassins Creed II video-game launch with her friends and former Hills costars Lo Bosworth and Stephanie Pratt. LC is also working hard on the sequel to her bestselling LA Candy - which could make a perfect addition to your holiday wish list - and relayed her excitement about the cover art for book number two which will hit the shelves next year.

Lauren Conrad Launches Her Kohl's Line With a Few MTV Stars

Lauren Conrad had the support of her girls last night at the launch of her LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl's line in LA. The Hills and The City came together with Lo Bosworth, Whitney Port, and Frankie Delgado all out to check out LC's affordable new designs. At the party, Lauren gushed about her amazing week, which also included a movie deal for her first book, LA Candy, but she says don't be looking to her to star in it. She joked about her acting skills, saying, "I think my acting is offensive! I'm an awful actor, I'm not super comfortable with it. In fact I was just trying to do lines . . . and they'll tell you, I cannot memorize lines." Even so, it's big moves for the former reality star who is making quite the career for herself while her friends still on the MTV show are laughing off their rumored salaries.

PopSugar Exclusive - Kristin Talks About John Mayer, Whitney and Lo on Their Shows, Stacie and Justin Bobby?!

Lots of ladies from The Hills and The City hit the red carpet at last night's MTV VMAs. We chatted a little with the shows' stars about all the changes to come this season, with LBD clad Whitney Port and Lo Boswoth sharing some previews. Kristin Cavallari addressed her rumored romance with John Mayer, while Stacie Hall - aka Stacie the bartender - revealed one rather big spoiler. Here's more:

Kristin on allegedly dating John Mayer: "It's funny because I've met him one time, for 5 seconds at a big press event like this. I don't know, it's always funny how these rumors get started."
Stacie on what to expect from her next season: "I find myself in a lot, a lot of drama I didn't think I was a dramatic person. . . definitely with boys. That's gonna happen. . . "
Could it be Justin Bobby? "Maybe. . . (smiles)."
Lo on next season: "You're going to see a lot of new female faces - not just Kristin. You're going to see new troublemakers, which you know, it kind of makes me a little uncomfortable! I've kind of been there since the beginning, and I want it to be exactly what it was and it's not anymore."
Stephanie on Heidi and Spencer's baby plans: "I was with them and they started talking about freezing eggs and stuff, and I was like, "Ew, you guys! I'm right here.'"

Kristin:

On what we can expect on this season of The Hills: "Little bit of drama, there's always relationship drama. Not just with me, with kind of everybody. A little love triangle I guess is happening. . . I'm excited for everyone to see my side of the story, and my point of view because everything is not always as it seems."
On keeping in touch with LC: "I'm filming with Lo, who lives with her, so we get updated. . . but I don't see her too often, I really don't. But there's no bad blood there."

Whitney:

About her new costars: "Everyone is very different, and not in a good or bad way. Everyone plays off of each other, in a very dramatic kind of feeling.
On Jay returning to The City: "I'm not sure, to be perfectly honest. I mean, he is my friend and he's in and out of my life. But I haven't seen any of the episodes yet, so. . . "

Stephanie:

On what's coming up with her: "I'm a serial dater. I don't have a boyfriend - I want to date every single guy ever. But, I will play the bad cop, there's so much BS between the girls, I will call them out."
On Stacy's comments about Justin Bobby: "She needs a publicist to tell her not to talk about the show! Yeah, it gets nuts."

Stacie:

On if we'll see lots more of her this season: "Yeah, it's weird. Like on the last season, I didn't even mean to be on it - it was unintentional. Now I'm in the group!"

Frankie Delgado also chatted with us about the ongoing issue between Brody Jenner, his girlfriend Jayde Nicole and Joe Francis, saying that her face is all better after the alleged assault a few weeks ago. That won't be a part of the season, but we're sure to see lots more of them all when The Hills is back in just fifteen days!

Hills Girls and Celebrity Parents Make Time to Be Heroes

Big-hearted stars of all ages got together for a sunny afternoon in LA yesterday at the 20th annual A Time For Heroes Celebrity Carnival to support the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz brought Bronx to his first charity event, where he stayed close to mom and dad at the t-shirt making booth - check out an adorable video of Bronx below. Heidi Klum was there with her three kids who could not get enough of the giant slide. Most of The Hills girls made appearances though Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth showed up after Kristin Cavallari had already done her red carpet walk. Stephanie Pratt was preoccupied thinking about Heidi and Spencer down in Costa Rica while Lo joked that the carnival was more her speed than bug eating when it comes to charity. The Disney stars were also out in full force including Selena Gomez and a performance by Miley Cyrus to round out the day of philanthropy, delicious food and wholesome fun for so many families.

It's all Bikinis and BBQs For The Hills Cast

The ladies of The Hills celebrated their Fourth of July in style at the DKNY Jeans Beach house with a few of their friends. LC, Audrina, Lo, and Stephanie showed off those bikini bodies poolside and on the water slide, taking a few breaks for cocktails and to monitor the music selection. The girls even treated their guests to a yummy feast thanks to Bobby Flay. Sounds like the perfect way to spend the day in the sun, and for once it looks like there was no drama, just big smiles all around.

Lauren Conrad Is Up For Adoption?

Lauren Conrad looked happy at lunch with a friend in LA yesterday and out with Lo and Audrina last night. According to InTouch, we're not the only ones enamored by LC - Chace Crawford revealed that he has a crush on her! Sounds like the most adorable couple ever if you ask me. When we chatted with Lauren earlier this week, she told us a hilarious story about fans. She said:

"They even say that they think they are less reluctant to come up to us - it sounds weird but, because they feel like they know us. Because . . . we’ve been on television for about five years now and they’ve kind of been with us along the way and watched us go through things. They feel a connection to us. It’s odd but it’s kind of cool. . . I had a woman who told me that she wanted to adopt me. She’s like ‘I need to adopt you. You need to learn how to handle men.' I was like, well it was weird. I’m like ‘Well my mom is kind of awesome so I think I’m going to stick with her. But..thanks?' I was like [whispers] ‘security!’ She’s like ‘I want you to come live with me.’ It was weird."

More from the event and LC's new effort coming soon. Hilarious and totally crazy that she's got strangers who not only want to be her friend, but also her mom. While Audrina promises "Bathing suits, drama, romance and friendships!" on the next season of The Hills, we'll just be happy to have our guilty pleasure back in August.

Lauren Tries to Keep Team LC Together

Lauren Conrad looked perfectly happy as she arrived at the Four Seasons in LA yesterday, but we all know that things aren't so fabulous behind the scenes. Even though the girls were out partying together at Crown bar last night, Audrina is speaking out about her spat with LC over a backyard photo shoot, and she doesn't exactly paint the best picture of Lauren. Audrina said, "She was very, very, very mad. She said it’s her house. But this is my room. I said, 'We’re not taking pictures of your house - don’t be rude.' It just adds to the tension. Now she thinks I’m sneaky and shady for doing this photo shoot, yet she and her team knew about it. She won’t let it go." Regardless of what actually happened, it seems like the heroine of The Hills is doing her best not to lose another friend.

The Hills Lives on After Another Season Comes to a Close

The cast of The Hills and their friends celebrated their "big" season finale with a party in Beverly Hills last night. We thought the whole episode was kinda blah, but at least there were some cute outfits, cool gadgets, and pretty looks on all of the ladies. Lauren, Lo, and Audrina played nicely last night, but noticeably absent from the festivities were Heidi and Spencer. We don't want to point fingers, but it wouldn't be the first time the couple was banned from a party. LC and Heidi may never put their drama to rest, but apparently Brody and Spencer finally managed to bury their hatchet - will season four be about the ladies following their lead?

Lauren Conrad, From Laguna Beach to the Runway

Lauren Conrad is used to helping organize runway shows thanks to her internship at Teen Vogue, but last night was her time to shine showing off her very own collection as part of LA Fashion Week. The whole usual crew was out to support their girl with Whitney, Audrina and Lo populating the front row. Other Laguna Beach High School alums in the house including Stephen Colletti and ex nemesis Kristin Cavallari, who looked hot but probably didn't need to tie her shirt up in a knot 90s style. Ex boyfriend to multiple girls in the room, Brody Jenner, was there with his right hand man Frankie Delgado mugging for the camera too. The best part is, my girl Fab was there for the show (sitting right next to the Conrad family to boot) - check out her take on the night and the collection here! It's not too long until we have the girls back in our living rooms on March 24 for the new season of The Hills, yay.

Lauren Conrad Prefers Puggles to Pratts

While her former friend Heidi has been passing the time with photo-ops at Chanel, Lauren Conrad got back to work this week filming a scene for The Hills. LC had lunch with BFF Lo and their (totally adorable) new puggle Chloe. A dog will be an interesting addition to the show - after all, you can't just jet off to Paris when you have a puppy at home to take care of.
