Katie Takes the Stage For Her Official Opening Night!
Katie Holmes hit the stage to perform in All My Sons on Broadway last night, but this time it was different. It was the show's official opening night and Katie's smile was bigger than ever as she took her bow and posed outside after the play. Of course, Tom Cruise was there to support his wife and I'm sure found time to gush even more about her performance at the after party.
Garner Gets the Girls Together to Support Cancer Research
Jen got some of her famous friends together for an Oscar De La Renta boutique opening in Beverly Hills yesterday. It wasn't all about gorgeous dresses since the event benefited the EIF Women's Cancer Research Fund. It seems as if everyday we see new pictures of Mandy and DJ AM, but last night at the premiere of Because I Said So, she walked the red carpet solo. It was more of a girls' night out with her fabulous co-stars including Diane Keaton and Piper Perabo. Neil Patrick Harris donned a shiny tux and a big smile, hosting the Tony Awards last night at Radio City Music Hall in NYC. Broadway veteran John Stamos and newcomer Anne Hathaway were among the stars who stepped out to present awards. Dolly Parton, Stockard Channing and Elton John took the stage, as well as Bret Michaels who injured himself during the big opening number.

The Funny Abounds at Evan Almighty
Some of the funniest people in Hollywood came out for the LA premiere of Evan Almighty yesterday. The film, which is a sequel to 2003 Bruce Almighty starring Jim Carrey, stars Steve Carell as a congressman who is contacted by God to build an ark. The film has had some problems getting off the ground but Steve turned his last two films into box office gold so hopefully this one will do well.
Celebrities (and Sightings) Still Cycling Through Sundance
While my exhausted tail returned to San Francisco last night, the fun rolls on at Sundance with a whole new group of celebs coming into town to brave the cold and show off their movies. Other than Diddy, who was mostly there to show off his vodka. Lukas Haas separated himself from Leonardo DiCaprio long enough to premiere his movie, Death in Love which Buzz and I saw last night — totally disturbing (though Adam Brody was really cute in it) — before also seeing him out to breakfast this morning.
On A Day of Highs and Lows, Sundances On
While the afternoon took a noticeably somber turn as the news of Heath Ledger's tragic death spread over snowy Park City, the morning was for celebrating as Oscar nomination news came to Sundance. While a lot of the celebrities left with the end of MLK day weekend, there was still swag to be scored for some of them. I was lucky enough to stop by the Pure & Natural Celebrity Eco-Retreat and Iconix "Gift Giving For A Cause" Suite benefiting Save the Children to see all the goodies the celebrities have been snatching up as souvenirs.
Naomi is Just Relaxing, Loving Being Pregnant
Naomi's pregnant glow helped her stand out amongst the beautiful women at the opening of Escada's Beverly Hills Boutique this week. Liev has been raving about what a great pregnancy Naomi's had, and apparently she agrees. Naomi said, "[I'm] just being relaxed and moving at a much slower pace and enjoying it.
