One week before next weekend's Primetime Emmy Awards lots of stars of the small screen came out in LA on Saturday for the presentation of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. The show airs Saturday and was hosted by two of my favorites, Sarah Chalke and Neil Patrick Harris, who kept the laughs coming. As expected, Mad Men and John Adams both took home multiple statues — check out all the winners here.

Pushing Daisies is on hiatus until next Fall, but lucky for us the cast headed to the 25th annual Paley Television Festival in LA yesterday — including the always-adorable Lee Pace, Kristin Chenoweth, and Anna Friel. Elsewhere in the festival, Judd Apatow hosted a panel with his familiar cast of characters. Paul Rudd, Seth Rogen, and Jonah Hill were just a few that came to support The Comedy World of Judd Apatow, a question and answer session that gave the audience a peek inside Judd's head.

Some of the people behind the year's biggest movies — Javier Bardem and Josh Brolin from No Country For Old Men, Diablo Cody who wrote Juno and George Clooney — came out in LA for the AFI Luncheon today. Thankfully we're still getting our fill of the most hyped and applauded actors in fancy suits, even though the award season is looking more and more bleak by the day. At least it's not for long if George has anything to do with it — rumor has it he has offered to set up a strike mediation panel with the help of his buddies like Tom Hanks and Stephen Spielberg.

Pushing Daisies star Lee Pace stopped by to flash that charming smile on Good Morning America yesterday before the premiere of his new TV show. He's totally precious in that huggable way, right? Pushing Daisies made both Pop and Buzz's top five new TV shows and I must say after last night's premiere, I totally agree.

Yesterday kicked off the ABC TCAs and although we have to wait until the end of November to check out Cashmere Mafia, the network has plenty of other new shows that are bound to be big hits. Pushing Daisies might be my favorite new show this season (sorry Chuck). The fairy tale-like show is brought to us by Barry Sonnenfeld (Men in Black) and Bryan Fuller (Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls).

The men left all the color to the ladies on the red carpet at the Emmys last night, keeping it tame in their dapper suits and tuxes. True to form, the Entourage boys walked and posed together, while Jeremy Piven and John Krasinski held their own with their hands in their pockets. Diddy hammed it up as usual, and Patrick Dempsey, Jon Hamm, and Neil Patrick Harris added just a little more dreaminess to the equation.

After the highs and lows of the Emmys show the party really got started. For many, the first stop was the Governor's Ball like Heidi in yet another gown before the other bashes. Some were off to the ET/People bash while others went to hear Samantha Ronson spin at Kress nightclub for the TV Guide soiree.

Neil Patrick Harris and Kristen Chenoweth were up and at 'em early this morning to announce the 2008 Primetime Emmy Nominations — and thankfully they were both able to celebrate with acting nods of their own! As expected, the excellent Mad Men scored big with noms for Best Drama Series, Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor, and Damages also got recognized big. We're particularly excited to see adorable Lee Pace nominated for Pushing Dasies which got a whole bunch, Amy Poehler for SNL in the first year acting nods were allowed for the show, and the Matt Damon/Ben Affleck videos get recognized (even if Sarah and Jimmy are no longer)!
