Stars of the music world hit the red carpet and the stage at tonight's MTV EMAs held in Berlin, Germany. The ladies were decked out in black and cream, with Beyonce and Katy Perry standing out in their long gowns. Bar Refaeli looked gorgeous as usual, but the dress was a bit of a departure from her usual style. The guys were the one with the stand out makeup trend of the night - guyliner - though the Jonas Brothers weren't feeling the need to participate. Inside, Jay-Z performed and looked adorable posing with his wife backstage while Brody Jenner smiled with Miranda Cosgrove. She also stepped out in a sexy red costume and was the biggest winner of the night taking home three awards! Lady Gaga, U2 and Jay-Z were also among the artists who will be packing up their statues for the flight home. Katy Perry had a handful of costume changes, but her man Russell Brand wasn't there to give her a hand with that - check out all the big performances here.

TV Tonight: "Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll"

Ok, I love "America's Next Top Model" as much as the next reality-show junkie, but I don't know if I can stomach The CW's new reality series, "Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for The Next Doll" - and not just because it means having that awful "Don't Cha" song stuck in my head for days on end.

The series, which premieres tonight at 9 p.m. Eastern, is like a sluttier version of "Grease: You're the One That I Want." Or perhaps "Making the Band" if it were hosted by Mark McGrath (who, by the way, totally ruled on "Rock 'n' Roll Jeopardy.") Lil' Kim, meanwhile, serves as a judge. According to a CW press release:

After a nationwide audition process, the judges narrowed the dancers down to the final diverse group of nine young women, who move into a loft in Los Angeles' fashion district during the competition. Each episode has a specific theme - confidence, creativity and style are just a few of the themes addressed.

Announcing the 2012 Grammy Award Nominations

For the second year in a row, the Recording Academy has given a hip-hop artist the most Grammy nominations. Last year, it was rapper Eminem with eight, and this year, Kanye West leads the nominees with seven chances at the golden gramophone, including a song of the year nod for "All of the Lights." West is also nominated twice in the rap album of the year category for his collaboration with Jay-Z on Watch the Throne and his own album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Brit crooner Adele wasn't far behind Kanye, picking up six nominations for her album 21, as well as a shot at song of the year with "Rolling in the Deep."

Bruno Mars also did well, racking up six nominations (that's down one from last year for those keeping track), while newcomers like Nicki Minaj and dubstep artist Skrillex are up for the best new artist category.
