Stella McCartney celebrated the opening of her latest boutique with a star-studded soiree in NYC last night. The SoHo outpost drew an impressive crowd of fashionable faces like Naomi Watts, Liv Tyler, and newlyweds David Lauren and Lauren Bush Lauren. The Laurens are fresh off a romantic getaway to Jamaica where David lounged shirtless and Lauren slipped into a bikini while relaxing on the beach with Stella's dad, Sir Paul McCartney.

Following the store opening, the designer led a group of editors to Manhattan's One If by Land, Two If by Sea for a sneak peek at the Stella McCartney Autumn 2012 collection. Funny guy Jason Sudeikis popped by for a quick appearance. Jason's girlfriend, newly short-haired Olivia Wilde, couldn't join since she's prepping for the 2012 award season. Stella McCartney, Naomi Watts, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Jessica Seinfeld dressed up for the New York City Ballet's Fall Gala last night at NYC's Lincoln Center. SJP, who's a self-confessed ballet addict, was decked out in a lace dress from Stella's collection while Naomi was clad in a white Stella pantsuit. It was a big evening for the McCartneys, as Paul was there with his soon-to-be wife Nancy Shevell. The ballet, called Ocean's Kingdom, was actually written by Paul, and it's his first foray into the genre. The project gave Paul a chance to collaborate with his daughter, Stella, as she designed the dancers' costumes. She was well aware of the endeavor's prestige. Stella said of working with her famous dad, "On one side, I am a daughter working with her father, which is an incredibly remarkable experience in life no matter who your father is. It's also quite an emotional thing. On another side, I know and understand I am working with Paul McCartney." Stella's husband, Alasdhair Willis, was on hand to cheer her and Paul on, as was her brother James McCartney.
