Mark Wahlberg headed to the beach in Barbados with his family last week. Mark showed off his shirtless physique on a paddle board and shared a sweet kiss with his bikini-clad wife, Rhea Durham, who also splashed around in the waves with their kids. The family of six got away for the vacation after celebrating Christmas at home in LA. The Durham-Wahlbergs visited Santa Claus and shared a fun park day ahead of the holiday. Mark will soon be back to work though, since his movie, Contraband hits theaters next week. He's also still in the middle of production on Broken City, which he started filming late last year.

Mark Wahlberg and Rhea Durham took their kids to a Beverly Hills park yesterday afternoon. They lounged on a blanket in the grass with Ella, Michael, Brendan, and Grace, and the couple even shared a sweet kiss while their little ones were off playing. It was the second fun outing for the family this week after they also visited Santa Claus at The Grove on Tuesday. Their festive photo op was just one of many adorable celebrity holiday moments this season including the Jolie-Pitts toy store stop and Justin Bieber's White House visit. Mark, Rhea, and their four kids are enjoying the Winter break before Mark gets back to work in the new year, when he'll be promoting Contraband ahead of its mid-January release.

The six-strong Wahlberg clan is heading into a family Christmas together. It's not all relaxation for Mark, however, since he's also got a movie arriving in theaters. Mark Wahlberg got a special visit from his children Michael and Ella on the set of Broken City in NYC yesterday. He took a break from filming to hang with his two oldest kids and even threw around a football between takes. Mark's been working on the crime drama all month, and, once things wrap up on the East Coast today, he'll take production to New Orleans. The actor has more than just his latest movie and his hit TV show, Boardwalk Empire, on his plate currently. He recently opened a burger joint with his family called Wahlburger. The restaurant is located in Hingham, MA and Mark's brother Paul serves as the chef.

Mark Wahlberg joined his mother Alma Elaine Wahlberg, and his two brothers Donnie and Paul Wahlberg at the grand opening of their new hamburger restaurant, Wahlburgers, in Hingham, MA yesterday. The famous family has the perfect name for a burger joint, and Paul will serve as the chef at what is sure to be a hot spot in Beantown. Mark is currently between projects since being replaced by Bradley Cooper in David O.Russell's The Silver Lining Playbook, but Wahlberg does have a number of titles coming out in 2012. We were recently treated to the first trailer for Contraband, his upcoming heist movie, and he'll also show off his funny side opposite Mila Kunis in quirky comedy Ted. Mark is also enjoying the success of Boardwalk Empire, which he produces and is currently in the midst of its second season on HBO.

Contraband Trailer: Mark Wahlberg Gets Into One Last Smuggling Heist

Mark Wahlberg is back in his finest action star form for Contraband, where he stars as Chris Farraday, a man who used to be criminally great at smuggling, but has since gotten out of "the life." Though he's now a stable family man married to a blond Kate Beckinsale, he finds himself pulled into one more heist after his wife's brother gets involved with some thugs, led by Giovanni Ribisi. When they threaten his wife and kids, Chris has no choice but to jump back in with a job smuggling a huge load of cash and reunite with his old crew, which includes Ben Foster and Lukas Haas.

I like Wahlberg the most when he's heading up an action thriller, gun in his hand, and that's exactly what Contraband offers. The trailer is fast-paced, exciting, and with the whizz of gun shots being fired over a rap song, plenty of fun. The movie comes out Jan. 12, but watch the trailer now after the jump.

HBO gathered the stars of Boardwalk Empire last night at NYC's Zeigfeld Theater to celebrate the show's second season, which debuts on the network Sept. 25. Leading man Steve Buscemi had the company of his wife, Jo Andres, while Michael Pitt had his model girlfriend, Jamie Bochert, and Vincent Piazza made his red carpet debut with Ashlee Simpson. Ashlee and Vincent also showed PDA recently at a fashion week bash, when they went out to celebrate Christina Ricci's Nylon cover. Other stars from the series like Kelly Macdonald, Jack Huston, and Gretchen Mol mingled with producers Mark Wahlberg and Martin Scorsese. The gang moved their festivities over to the Waldorf Astoria for the afterparty, where Jack met up with his aunt, Anjelica Huston, and Kelly gave her pal Emily Mortimer a big hug. The premiere of Boardwalk Empire is much anticipated, especially after the series just won seven creative Emmys last weekend.

The house was first on the market in 2008 when the listing price was $15.9 million, but Mark and his crew were expecting another baby and took it off the market in 2009 to focus on their new addition. Mark and Rhea's other three kids Ella, Michael, and Grace weren't along for the special outing. Brendan celebrates his third birthday next month, though first up is Ella who turns 8 on Sept. 2. Mark currently has a number of movie projects in the works and he's also celebrating the end of Entourage, which only has a handful of episodes left. The multitalented star stays busy outside of his TV and films as well, since Mark signed on as the brand ambassador for men's fashion line PRVCY and according to local Massachusetts press, he and his brother Donnie recently bought the rights to the restaurant name Wahlburger to open up a burger place in Boston together.
