NYC Is Where Spike, Blake, and Tom Check Out the Wild Things
Blake Lively was one of the few ladies at last night's NYC premiere of Where the Wild Things Are. It's only Wednesday, but this was already Blake's second red carpet of the week after turning out to support boyfriend Penn Badgley Monday at his screening of The Stepfather. Blake was in rather impressive company, as Tom Hanks and Forest Whitaker also turned out to see Spike Jonze's latest film.

Steve Martin hit the waves running on vacation in St. Barts with his wife and friends including Martin Short yesterday. The boys seemed to be having a blast on the beach and in the gorgeous blue water.
Hayden Takes Care of Her Own
With no Milo Ventimiglia in sight, Hayden Panettiere had a much younger man, her brother Jansen, on her arm at the premiere of The Spiderwick Chronicles in LA last night. Hayden's still a family girl at heart, but earlier this week that backfired a bit. At Wednesday's Old Navy party mom Panettiere's dress was a little too risqué for her daughter's taste and Hayden had to leave the dance floor in order to try and keep her mother decent.

Last night Diane Keaton was honored by the Film Society of Lincoln Center and many of her past co-stars came out to show their support. Diane looked beautiful thanks to ditching her signature hat and pant look. Well done Diane!

The cast of Cadillac Records brought their movie to New York City last night, highlighted by Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z. The newlyweds and longtime loves hardly ever do the red carpet together, so it's such a treat to see him out to support his wife looking so happy. They're always having a blast somewhere around the world, but with her opening up a little about their marriage and seeing them together here might mean a new leaf for B and J.

Al Gore Helps Kickoff Tribeca Film Festival
Robert De Niro's Tribeca Film Festival opened last night in an unconventional way. Al Gore hosted the event, which began with 9 short films about the environment in lieu of a full-length, big name movie like Spiderman-3 (which will premiere later on at Tribeca). The films are produced by SOS (Save Our Selves), which works towards raising awareness about global warming and climate change.SJP and Matthew B in NYC
SJP and husband Matthew Broderick came out to watch Martin Short on Broadway in Fame Becomes Me. We have not seen Sarah Jessica much this summer. She must be camped out in the Hamptons with little James Wilke.
