Anne Has Both NYC and Rio on the Brain

Anne Hathaway joined NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg and actor Alan Cumming last night for the annual dinner thrown by the Empire State Pride Agenda, which works to advance LGBT causes in the region. Anne's enjoying a little break from work after her Summer filming Valentine's Day and doing Shakespeare in the Park, but she'll soon be gearing up to take on another kind of role - she's in talks to star in the animated film Rio along with NPH. Anne looked a little less fancy this morning, when she and boyfriend Adam Shulman headed out to run some errands in the city.

Matt Is Adjusted, Informed, and Approving of Clooney's GF

Matt Damon filmed scenes for The Adjustment Bureau in NYC yesterday, both on a boat and with Mayor Bloomberg, before premiering The Informant! last night. He held hands with Luciana on the red carpet, where he talked about how much he likes George Clooney's new girlfriend, Elisabetta. Matt said it was nice to see George so happy when they got together this Summer in Lake Como. Matt's been juggling meeting politicians, filming his current movie, and promoting his movie, but he still found time to film the funny mustached slow motion fight scene that aired on Kimmel last night - check out the video below.

Jay-Z Opens Up About Keeping His Mouth Shut

Jay-Z got all fancied up in a suit and tie yesterday to help NYC Mayor Bloomberg announce that Park Avenue will be closed to cars for a few hours on the next three Saturdays in Manhattan. Maybe Jay will take advantage of the special opportunity and have a romantic stroll with Beyonce this weekend - but don't expect him to gush about it afterwards. He recently talked to Vibe magazine about why he doesn't want to open up about his supposed wedding to Beyonce, saying, "I just think it's really a part of your life that you gotta keep to yourself. You have to have something sacred to you and the people around you. I shared so much of my life… I should have something to hold on to." Even if we never get to hear all the details about their wedding, for now we'll settle for seeing the couple happily sporting their rings.

Matt Damon Makes a Few Adjustments to Life in NYC

Matt Damon was suited up yesterday to keep working on The Adjustment Bureau in NYC. After taking a ride on a water taxi, Matt disembarked and met up with the city's mayor, Michael Bloomberg, for another afternoon of filming together. Matt's effortlessly switched from promoting The Informant! to getting into character for his latest film, and his home base in the city should ease the process. Matt and his wife Luciana looked into upgrading their Manhattan apartment to an eight bedroom apartment on Fifth Avenue earlier this year, which sounds like a pretty cozy place to rest up between days on set.

Stars and Designers Mix and Mingle at Their CFDA Dinner Party

After the CFDA Awards red carpet last night the gorgeous group sat down for dinner and the award ceremony at the New York Public Library. There were big smiles all around from Ashley Olsen and Eva Mendes cozying up to Francisco Costa to Eva Longoria giggling with Tom Ford. Victoria Beckham was just excited to kick back and relax after taking the stage to present the Womenswear Designer of the Year Award, saying, "I always get so nervous. I'm rubbish, absolutely rubbish at doing things like that. I just glad it's over and done with. I've sung in front of millions of people but when it comes to doing something as simple as talking, I completely go to pieces."

Lovely Ladies Pout and Smile at the CFDA Awards

The beautiful and very well-dressed hit the red carpet in NYC last night for the CFDA Awards. The honors may have been all about the designers - check out all the winners here - but the photo ops belonged to the star-studded guest list. Just another night in the life of these fabulous familiar faces. Victoria Beckham may not be in any more of Marc Jacobs' quirky ads, but she looked fierce back in those high heels on his arm and posing with her new BFF Eva Longoria. Other highlights included a towering Mandy Moore, a demure Ashley Olsen and a very sparkly Hilary Duff. TIME's 100 Get Their Influence On

Some of the best and the beautiful weren't too tired after Monday's big Gala to be honored at another. Tuesday marked the annual TIME 100 Most Influential People party -- and these folks made the list. John Mayer (yes, he's on the list) left his one beautiful brunette at home, but was happy to pose with another -- a stunning America Ferrera. Meanwhile, Cate Blanchett was looking much better than Monday, back to her usual luminescence. It's so wonderful to see Michael J. Fox out and about! Yays for everyone honored at the fancy pants event. I'd just love to see what Tina Fey and Martha Stewart chat about...

Mandy Sings for Women

Mandy was on hand as a special guest at the 10th Annual NY Revlon Run/Walk for Women this weekend. She teamed up with Meredith Vieira and others to raise money for breast cancer research. We're not sure if Mandy actually walked but we do know she helped kick off the event with a performance. She most likely sang something off her new album coming out this June.

Julia's Big Disappointing Debut

She may have had a large support group including her good friend Oprah, but it seems as if she got disappointing reviews from the press. US Weekly has gathered some quotes from the various newspapers. I thought these 2 were the most interesting:

Hmm, no mention of hubby Danny being there but I'm sure it was just overlooked. Somehow I also don't think the reviews will hurt tickets sales.
