Michael Phelps Cleans Up at the Star-Studded ESPY Awards

Many celebs hit the red carpet last night at the ESPY awards in LA to honor the stars of the sports industry. Samuel L. Jackson was the evening's host, and he kept the audience laughing with his jokes about Twitter. Zachary Quinto took the stage looking dapper in his suit, while Miranda Kerr smiled for photos before the scary robbery at Orlando Bloom's house. Demi Moore was also on hand to present Michael Phelps with one of his five awards. It might not have been as snazzy as last year's Justin Timberlake's ESPY hosting gig, but the athletes and stars looked fantastic for the sports-filled night.

Michael wasn't the only one getting trophies - Hollywood's beloved Lakers won Best Team. Other presenters included Rashida Jones and Jeremy Piven, while funny men Andy Samberg and Seth Meyers watched alongside Billy Crudup. The festivities are set to air Sunday evening on ESPN.

Michael Begins to Feel the Sobering Fallout of His Mistake

Michael Phelps managed to smile on his way into the pool in Baltimore for another training session yesterday. When reporters asked him about the infamous bong picture, he said he used "bad judgment" and denied taking drugs. You guys didn't think he should lose endorsement deals because of his actions but Kellogg announced yesterday that it is conveniently ending its contract with the swimmer, which expires this month. Additionally his USA team expressed reluctance in competing in the 2012 Olympics, but his fans are still supporting him - he's been nominated for the Kids' Choice Awards and has Christian Bale on his side, which will hopefully cheer him up a little bit.

Michael Phelps Goes Back to What He Knows

Michael Phelps couldn't hide from the photographers as he arrived at the Loyola swimming facility in Maryland yesterday. It's been a rough week for the swimmer after the world got a view of him taking a bong hit, but getting focused on training should keep his mind off the backlash. On the plus side, most of you agreed he should keep his endorsements and it looks like he's going to. Plus, he's gotten some love from Ashton Kutcher and John Mayer via their twitter accounts. Most of you weren't surprised to see the photo, but it might be best for Michael to stay in the pool and out of the spotlight for a while.

Michael Phelps Is on the Beach and Out of His Shirt

Michael Phelps showed off his still ripped body on the beach in Miami yesterday. He seemed to be having a blast running around with a football and trying out a few familiar poses in the sand. The fun of his amazing ride through 2008 hasn't worn off just yet and while his partying may have turned some fans off, he's set to get back in the pool sometime this month. Even if he's put on a pound or two in the midst of his post-Olympic celebrations, Michael's still got the muscles to make the ladies swoon.
