Will Takes on Katrina While Jada Plays Head Nurse

Jada Pinkett Smith brought Will along to the Turner networks' Upfronts in NY earlier today. She was the life of the party in her short cocktail dress, running around and chatting with other actors like Kyra Sedgwick and Tyler Perry. Jada's starring alongside Michael Vartan in a new medical show called Hawthorne, which premieres next month. Meanwhile, Will has news of his own to celebrate - his production company just acquired the rights to a true story about an ex-Marine dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Adrian Hosts an Absolut Blast For Cristiano and Jamie

Adrian Grenier gathered sports stars and actors at The Kress in LA last night to celebrate the launch of Absolut Los Angeles, a limited-edition vodka to honor the city. Cristiano Ronaldo took a break from his shirtless sunbathing, which is probably a good call considering that tan to mingle with Terrell Owens and Jaime Pressly. The soccer star was all about the thumbs up, though he apparently didn't want to share the love with LC. Fellow Entourage star Kevin Connolly was there to hang out with his buddy and probably live out a few scenarios that would be right at home on their show.

Michael Vartan Is Still a Big Shot (For Now)

Michael Vartan arrived in Melbourne today for some serious poker tournament. Sounds like something one of the characters on Big Shots would do, but not his. Vartan plays the one real endearing guy on the show about rich CEO men BSing about acting like women. Unfortunately we're not so sure how long we'll get to watch Michael on the small screen. After being shelved for a few weeks, ABC is bringing back Big Shots to air three more episodes. Depending on how well these do will determine whether or not the struggling drama will be picked up - that is, assuming this sad writers' strike ever comes to an end. Maybe a second career as a poker champion isn't such a bad idea after all.

Movies Rock J Lo, Marc, Beyonce and Fergie

Last night in Hollywood, Condé Nast brought together music and screen to celebrate at the first ever Movies Rock event. The red carpet was all about drama from Beyonce's green number which looked like she would waddle rather than strut in to Fergie's sexy lingerie-esque dress. Jennifer Lopez positively glowed (and is sooo big!) while Marc posed with his hand on her belly - protective already of their little one. Both Josh Duhamel and Josh Jackson went with ties and sweaters, though Pacey's maybe shrunk a bit too much in the dryer. Inside the show, the audience was treated to performances from the all star talent - more on that in a little. How do you think all the ladies (and men) were looking? Michael Vartan As a Serial Killer?

Cute Michael Vartan was spotted grabbing some Starbucks in Hollywood. We miss seeing Michael weekly on Alias, but we may get to see him back on the big screen soon. Producer Alan Robinson wants him to play a serial killer in his upcoming movie Worst Nightmares. Here's more:

“Nightmares” tells of a serial killer who knocks off his victims based on what their particular fear is – be it a fear of drowning, a fear of heights, or in my case, a fear of being sentenced to watch “Full House” re-runs on loop for a weekend.

“It’s a really great script”, Robinson tells Moviehole from his Sydney office. “We plan to shoot it this Summer in Los Angeles”.

A high-calibre cast has already expressed interest in the film, he tells. Its believed that Greg Kinnear, Bridget Moynahan, Lance Henriksen and Michael Vartan may be in early talks. “He would be the serial killer. I think he’d be great – something very different for him”, says Robinson, of the actor who next headlines fellow Aussie Greg McLean’s “Rogue”.

Sounds a bit cheesy - stay tuned to see if Michael signs up for this role...

K-Fed Gets Down to Details

Britney may have dumped K-Fed but it doesn't look like he's going away anytime soon. Last night he was at the Details Magazine Insider Party along with Michael Vartan, Daniel Dae Kim and a few Laguna Beach alums. Kevin is trying to change his image, ditching his wife-beaters for blazers (or sweater coats) and trying to act a little more sophisticated. Still, that's going to be hard to keep up for long. K-Fed is going back to wrestling to pay his hefty legal bills. He plans to have a rematch with Cena on WWE on New Year's.

Michael Vartan on Kitchen Confidential!

Since Alias has completely jumped the shark and we really don't know if we can watch any longer, at least we can still get our Vartan fix in a new place. I love Darren Star's new show starring Bradley Cooper and now there is a new guest star! Vartan began production today for an episode called "F@#% the French" where he plays a French chef at a competing restaurant. I can't wait to see this episode on air. Stay tuned.

Kingston Rossdale Has a Crush on Britney Spears

Gwen Stefani, Kingston, and Zuma accompanied Gavin Rossdale to the K Swiss Celebrity Charity tennis event near Palm Springs yesterday. After a weekend of running around shirtless, Gavin was little more covered up this time in a t-shirt bearing his older son's name. Gwen recently revealed in a radio interview that Kingston is a fan of Britney Spears these days saying, "Any song that comes on, he’ll get pissed if you turn the station. He’ll be like, ‘That's my song! That's my song!' He's really into Britney's songs. He's really into her! He thinks she's really great and cute and he flirts with her and stuff." Wonder if his music taste will change when he hits the road with No Doubt this summer - tickets are on sale now, the best of which are being sold through the venues in an effort to avoid Ticketmaster's fees.

ABC Dramas have a lot of Big Shots

Along with all the gorgeous women joining ABC's prime time, there will be plenty of eye candy for the ladies as well. The male version of Sex and the City is called Big Shots and stars Michael Vartan, Dylan McDermott, Christopher Titus and Joshua Malina. In the pilot these four CEOs sit around in a steam room bitching about their lives when Dylan's character finally says, "Men, we're like the new women." Talk about a guilty pleasure! Then there is the most hyped show of the season, the Grey's spin off, Private Practice. While everyone else is focusing on Kate Walsh, we'll lust after Taye Diggs who will get another shot at ABC prime time. For lots of upcoming PP and Grey's secrets, click here.

Peter Krause stars in Dirty Sexy Money where he plays a lawyer who takes over his dead father's job as personal counsel for an uber-rich dysfunctional family. The creator of the show, Craig Wright, said it was inspired by the Dallas or Dynasty models but more updated. Ex-OC and Entourage star, Samaire Armstrong also joins the cast as the blonde bratty socialite that many are already comparing to Paris Hilton. Punk'd controversy

OK so I heard this already from a source in LA and now that it is also in the NY Daily News let's set the record straight. Ashton is having fun at Michael Vartan's expense. He has been mocking him and saying poor Michael was Punk'd and was a big baby and did not sign the release forms.

What has come out now is that Michael was Punk'd but he did the same exact skit as Jesse Metcalf where he was tricked into thinking he was on an audition for an action hero role. So I guess Punk'd did the same thing with both stars because it was an easy thing to produce. Whether or not Vartan said no or Ashton realized Jesse was a better hit, I hope this story ends here. They just sound lame going back and forth.
