Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter grabbed a seat to watch the sunset on the beach in Venice, CA yesterday. The duo looked cozy despite their divorce being finalized in December. This isn't the first time Michael and Jennifer have been spotted together following their separation since they were seen on a coffee date last month. They also sat together at the SAG Awards, where their TV show, Dexter, was up for best drama and Michael was nominated for best actor. Neither Michael nor the Showtime series went home with any statues, but it looked like the couple had a fun night. Both Jennifer and Michael will be back on the small screen soon now that Dexter has been renewed for a seventh and eighth season.

Michael C. Hall and his ex-wife Jennifer Carpenter were spotted in LA getting coffees together on Wednesday. They apparently followed up the caffeine date with dinner at the Peninsula Hotel. The couple split up back in 2010 after nearly two years of marriage, and their divorce was finalized last month. Michael and Jennifer continued, however, to work on their Showtime series Dexter together and seem to still be on friendly terms. It's not clear, though, whether there is a romantic reunion for Michael C. Hall and Jennifer on the horizon. They'll continue to costar on the small screen for a few more years since Dexter has been renewed for an additional two seasons.

President Clinton Gets Toasted at an AmfAR Bash With Blake, Anna, Michael, and More

AmfAR hosted its latest star-studded gala last night at NYC's Cipriani Wall Street to honor the philanthropic work of former President Bill Clinton, who had his daughter Chelsea and her husband of six months Marc Mezvinsky on hand to celebrate. Chelsea took the stage to introduce her father and compliment his good work to fight AIDS worldwide. She said, "The work he has done, the work he is doing and the work he will continue to do [for AIDS research] is invaluable. . . That's a good reason to be proud. An even better reason to be proud is he hasn't stopped." The Good Wife's Julianna Margulies enjoyed the evening out with her great looking husband Keith Lieberthal, while Dexter's Michael C. Hall made the rounds with a guy pal. A handful of fashionable folks also used the event as an informal kick-off for Fashion Week, with Vogue's Anna Wintour mingling with an Alexander McQueen-clad Blake Lively.

Stars of the small screen from Modern Family to Mad Men partied together at EW's pre-Screen Actors Guild Awards bash at the Chateau Marmont on Saturday. Golden Globe winner Claire Danes chatted with her husband, Hugh Dancy, and Darren Aronofsky after the trio all made appearances at the DGAs earlier in the evening. Jeremy Renner cracked up at something Amber Tamblyn said, and the actor has a lot to smile about this week after earning his second consecutive Oscar nomination. Minka Kelly gave a sweet smile as she posed with 30 Rock's Jack McBrayer. She is in the midst of promoting The Roommate and may have an exciting new project on her hands as one of the new Charlie's Angels. Jon Hamm looked dapper as usual and is the sexy guy you'll be keeping an eye on today. The trailer for Peep World makes it look a lot like The Royal Tenenbaums, if one of the Tenenbaum kids had written a book about the family and infuriated everyone. Youngest child Nathan Meyerwitz (Parks and Recreation's Ben Schwartz) has just published Peep World, exploiting the lives and problems of each of his siblings. The casting of the brothers and sister is its biggest draw: Michael C. Hall, Rainn Wilson, and Sarah Silverman make up the Meyerwitz family, and if those actors aren't enough to get you interested, there's also Judy Greer, Taraji P. Henson, and Kate Mara in the supporting cast.

Michael C. Hall stepped out for breakfast in LA today after the news broke that he and wife of less than two years, Jennifer Carpenter, are calling it quits. The two have apparently been separated for some time, but today's Golden Globe nominations may still be bittersweet. MCH is once again up for Best Actor, TV Drama, for his role in Dexter while this season's guest star Julia Stiles got a nod of her own and the show is up for Best Series. He apparently won't be celebrating his most recent nod with Jennifer, though the 2009 Globes were the first time the two stepped out on a red carpet as husband and wife. Dexter's fifth season ended with an exciting finale on Sunday night, and he celebrated another critically acclaimed run by debuting a special serial killer-themed Christmas tune on Fallon last week.
