Lifetime Achiever Marc and Jennifer Celebrate With Obama

Jennifer Lopez and birthday boy Marc Anthony were all smiles yesterday on Capitol Hill, where they met with Nancy Pelosi and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus in the afternoon before bringing the twins by to check out the White House. That night, Speaker of the House Pelosi presented Marc with a Lifetime Achievement Award as his wife proudly joined him on stage. President Obama and Michelle also came by to honor Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who chatted with Jennifer and Marc as they all celebrated Latin culture in the US.

Matthew Takes His New Project and Baby Joy to SF

Matthew McConaughey was joined by Michelle Obama, Jon Bon Jovi, and others at the National Conference For Service and Volunteering in San Francisco yesterday. Before Bon Jovi took the stage to perform, MM shared a few words about his j.k. livin' foundation and new baby on the way. He said,

"We are putting after-school fitness and wellness programs into underserved communities nationwide, teaching physical fitness, nutrition education, with an emphasis on daily gratitude for how much or how little we have. And now that I'm blessed to be a father myself - I got one at home [Levi] who's 11 months and as you people know, we have another one in the oven, three months - this foundation and its cause means even more to me."

We've got several months to wait before MM's new addition is here, but it sounds like the proud papa will be keeping us updated on both his family and his personal projects along the way.

Beautiful and Influential People Get Together in NYC

The honorees on this year's Time Magazine 100 Most Influential People list came together last night to celebrate at the Lincoln Center in NYC. Some of the fantastic ladies who made the cut - like MIA, Michelle Obama, and Stella McCartney - all hit the red carpet and took the podium to celebrate. For the second night in a row, Stella brought good friends Kate Hudson and Liv Tyler to the event. Obama posed with Oprah while Claire Danes had her fiancé Hugh Dancy by her side. Neither Zac Efron nor Brad Pitt made it to the party, but Jimmy Fallon was still able to keep the crowd entertained when he took the stage.

Fergie Rocks and Rolls at the White House

Lots of our favorite celebs were out celebrating Easter yesterday, including Fergie who was in DC making the White House party a little more festive. The singer performed the national anthem and a few of her singles at the annual Easter Egg Roll, with the whole Obama family watching by her side. Fergie got a big hug from the president and said the whole experience was "one of the most amazing moments of my life." Between their new puppy Bo and a special visit from Fergie, it sounds like the first Easter in DC was one to remember for Sasha, Malia, Barack, and Michelle.

As a result of the world's Obama-mania, the president and his family have graced many a celebrity magazine cover since the election. From what Michelle wears to what gadgets Sasha and Malia are spotted with, at times it's verged on as much coverage as gossip staples like Lindsay or Britney. Now that the inauguration is over, things just might calm down as they settle into a routine and the president gets to work. So tell us - do you like still like seeing the Obamas on magazine covers?

Jennifer and Marc Continue Their Inaugural PDA

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony had trouble getting in to watch the first dance, but they provided entertainment at the Western Inaugural Ball, yet another of the Obamas' stops last night. On stage, Marc revealed his single "You Sang to Me" was something he'd written for Jennifer 10 years ago and joked he "must have been psychic." His wife joined him to perform a duet and they kissed while Marc said "Man, she's cute." The singer wasn't the only husband gushing about his wife - after dancing with Michelle, President Obama said, "[She] does everything I do, but she does it in heels." Around one in the morning, the new first couple retired home to join their sleeping daughters for the first night as a family in the White House.
